All kinds of thoughts raced through her mind, but all of them led to the same question. How did they find her? A few weeks prior, she had double-crossed the Redface gang on Coruscant. And apparently, gangs were able to hold long grudges. She hadn't shown herself in the core for weeks, knowing that the Redface gang had branches everywhere. But the fact that they actually hired a dedicated team of mercenaries to hunt her down? Well, that was new.

The Bespinian woman took cover behind the large trash container, as two blaster bolts nearly grazed her shoulder. "You missed!" she shouted, reloading her DL-18 blaster pistol in the little time she had bought. "If I gotta be honest with you Aiden, I thought you were a better shot!" she continued, hoping to piss her assailant off. It was the least she could do in this situation. "Shut up Dahle, or I'll shut you up for good!" Aiden yelled back at her, which would've normally gotten a chuckle out of the pilot. But not this time. Not in such a bad situation. She knew Aiden well, she had worked with the mercenary in the past, but to call him a friend would be quite a stretch. The same counted for his Quarren friend, Segarr, who was probably trying to flank her right now. She was gonna need a way out really soon; but she lacked the resources to do so. She had left most of her gear in her Hotel room, except for her blaster pistol.

Ducking to avoid a second volley of blaster fire, Neri caught a glimpse of a pipeline near her assailant. It was a gamble, but a plan formed in her mind. "I surrender, I surrender!" she cried out, as the blaster fire stopped. You fell for it, dumbass. She knew that the Redface gang wanted her alive, so naturally, he would take the bait. All that was left now, was hitting her target...

Her heart pounded heavily in her chest, but despite that, Neri was calm and focused. She was confident that, as long as she remained calm, her sixth sense would guide her. And it did. In a quick motion, Neri jumped up and shot at the pipeline, allowing her instincts to guide her as she shot. The blaster bolt found it's mark, as the pipeline exploded with a loud bang, releasing a large amount of pressurized steam, clouding Aiden's vision. Just the cover she needed to get away from her assailant. Knowing that this was the only chance she was going to get, Neri made a break for it. She had to get to the main street and disappear in the crowd, it was the only way she was going to lose her 'friends'...

Jey had no idea what he was doing on Corellia honestly, he just came here on a whim. Ever since meeting Astra on Coruscant and re-establishing his connection to the Force a few weeks back, the black-haired teen was simply going through the motions, trying to find some kind of purpose - or at least, a temporary distraction. Currently, Jey roamed about Corellia's streets and its stuffed crowds - looking for something, anything. Then a thought came to him, he was on Corellia, he owned a YT freighter, since he was already here, Jey gathered there'd be no better time or place to purchase some new upgrade parts for The Kath Hound.

With a renewed sense of purpose, Jey navigated the streets of Corellia in search for some upgrades. As he made his way, he took a moment to scan his surroundings - Corellia was more... industrial than he expected, whatever he was Nar Shaddaa trash he wasn't in any place to make judgements. He also noticed the Force was really active on the planet too, even he could feel it without focusing on it entirely, he guessed this was because Corellia was a highly populated planet, filled with sentient beings.

Mind completely a wander, he didn't even notice a woman in front of him - whom he was about to accidentally bump into. "Oof!" he uttered as his body impacted with hers, Jey shut his eyes and shook his head to gather his bearings before opening them and seeing a woman stood in front of him with brown hair that was white at the front, if the white was natural or dye, he couldn't really tell. "Sorry, that's on me. I--" he cut himself off from making a joke when he realised she was visibly shaken, he'd know that look anywhere. She was running from something... or someone. The hazel-eyed teen's brow furrowed and his entire expression fell into a serious one. He had a question for her, and one question only "...What're you running from?"

Neriya glanced over her shoulder as she approached one of the busier markets in the district. Aiden was hot on her trail. She was going to need some additional stunts to get out of here. With nimble movement, she avoided the first few droid taxis and passenger transports, crossing the street that led to the market. It was a smart move; if Aiden fired at her, the chances that he'd hit a random person in the crowd from this angle were high.

There were two factors she had to keep in account during her escape. First of all, the Quarren, Segarr. She hadn't seen him since the start of their deadly laser tag. Even now, as she scanned the crowd, Neri didn't spot the familiar face tentacles. The second factor, was her outfit. She stood out on the industrial planet., she was going to need some kind of disguise.

Neri ran as hard as she could, putting some distance between her and the human bounty hunter. After turning a few corners and seeking out the path with the most obstacles, Neri finally found what she was looking for. With Aiden temporarily out of sight, Neri snatched a long, brown coat from one of the stalls. Before she had a chance to put it on, however, she heard Aiden in the distance again. "There you are, you womp rat!" cursing under her breath, Neri ran off again. She tried her best not to show Aiden her newly acquired coat; it was part of her escape plan after all.

As the chase resumed, she managed to put some distance between her and her assailant again. The Bespinian had always been good
at creating chaos. For once, however, it actually worked in her favor. That was, until she decided to glance over her shoulder again. Her focus was on Aiden, who tried to push his way through a group of merchants. Just as her cocky grin returned, the pilot slammed into something. No.. not something. Someone? Quickly, she got up again. She caught a glimpse of Aiden, who almost got through the band of merchants. Knowing that his vision would be blocked for just a little while longer, Neri took her chance. She turned to the person she had collided with; a young and handsome guy. In a swift motion, Neri put her stolen coat on. "Sorry about that, let me help you up." she stretched her hand out, hoping that he would except it. If he would, the pilot would help him up and pull him close, hugging him like a lover would. She kept her back to the bounty hunter as he ran past them, making it impossible for him to spot the white streak that ran through her hair. After the bounty hunter was out of sight, Neri tapped Jey on the back. "Aight, thanks for that. See you around lad" she exclaimed, as she put some distance between them again.

Still on the floor, the woman ignored his question and instead outstretched her hand for him to take it, which he accepted. Allowing her to help him up while also apologising, the next part completely took the teen aback as he was pulled into a hug, an intimate one at that, as if they were a couple. Seemed pretty forward but she was kinda hot, in a fierce "Don't mess with me and I'll kill you" way, either way he'd take it, he hugged her back grinning, "Well, this is nice." he said in a lighthearted matter.

Then it was all over, she tapped his back, thanked him, and stated she'd see him around. Confused at what the hell just happened, Jey scratched his temple with his gloved hand for a moment. Temporarily smitten with the woman due to what just happened and her mysterious nature, he decided try and stop her from leaving "Hey! Hold on a parsec." he said laughing slightly and with his arms raised "You can't just hug me like we've been dating for ten years and then leave! At least take me to dinner first." he joked.

Jey proceeded to place his palm on his chest to introduce himself "Hi. I'm Jeyten, or Jey, I can assume your name's 'Commitment Issues'?" he said in jest coupled with a stupid grin. Jey then remembered the look on her face earlier, she was trying to get away from something - flashing back to his own times of being on the run from somebody, he felt empathy for her. He folded his arms and went on to whisper to her "Look, whatever you're running from. Let me help you." his eyes were focused on hers, he was attempting to convey sincerity - at least enough sincerity to trust he could help her. Trouble was, would Neri believe him?

Neri ignored his comment on their hug being 'nice'. Dude didn't get hugged often, or so she thought. After she ended their hug, Neri prepared to casually stroll away, hands in her pockets as she scanned the crowd for danger. That was, until her new friend asked her to hold on for a minute. She spun to face him again, slightly tilting her head out of curiosity. What did he want? She listened to his remark, only to realize she hadn't thought this through once again. She had a million snarky replies ready, but she didn't want to hurt the teen's feelings, at least not yet.

Before the pilot had found the right words to reply with, the teen continued. Name was Jeyten, shortened to Jey, followed by a bad attempt at humor. "Neriya Dahle. My friends call me Neri." she stated, still disinterested in the teen. Not because she simply didn't care, but because her focus was needed elsewhere. Where the kriff was Segarr?

Jey finally managed to catch her attention with his whisper. "Oh nonono, you do not want to get involved in this mess love, it's already far beyond the stadium where I'd accept any help. Besides, you did plenty already." It was true. Her fall out with the Redface gang had snowballed and now her safety in the core systems and even inner rim was compromised. She knew for a fact that any who helped her could end up suffering the same fate. The fact that she had used Jey as cover alone made her feel a little guilty already. She just had to get back to her hotel room and leave the core as soon as possible. Now she had lost Aiden, that seemed a whole lot more doable.

The woman with the white streak introduced herself as Neriya, although she shortened it to Neri. Nice. Neri went on further and stated she didn't need help, she was pretty nice about it actually - in fact, she even thanked him for helping her out. In hindsight, it all made sense now, she was hugging him to get away from her pursuers which... probably put him at risk too, but he couldn't blame her though. He would have probably done the same if he were in her boots.

Jey exhaled and rubbed the back of his neck, contemplating. After a quick few moments, his hazel eyes fixed on hers and a grin formed on his russet face "Well... I have a ship, a YT-2000... it isn't great, but it can help you get off this rock." he said innocently, "Feel kinda bad just knowing you're in poodoo, and I just let you go off alone." he shrugged. It was true. Jey may be a lot of bad things but... something deep inside him couldn't just abandon someone in need without at least helping a little.

Suddenly, the black haired teen felt the pit in his chest... the Force, it was warning him of something. But what? Jey turned around to look behind him and spotted a Quarren behind him, holding a blaster, and before he could react he felt the metallic cold of the Quarren's blaster smack him square in his cheek, knocking him completely off his feet and onto the ground. Clenching his now bruised face, "What the hell?!" he called out in anger before his face turned to complete surprise. The Quarren had his blaster aimed directly at Neri, "Guess this is the guy chasing you?" he asked in a deadpan manner, still rubbing his face.

Neri's brow furrowed. "Is this your way of asking me out?" she asked him, looking the teen up and down. "Try again in three years and I might give it a shot." she nonchalantly stated. He was too young for her, but perhaps she would grow desperate over time. Although it was highly unlikely that she'd ever grow desperate enough to date someone almost a decade younger than her. "Listen love, I understand that you wanna help me. But you shouldn't get your pretty face in trouble for some lass you just met on the streets." While most people could be trusted, there were those who would rather abuse it instead. She had a feeling that sooner or later, Jey would find himself taken advantage of by someone like that.

As she waited for a response from the teen, Neri caught a glimpse of a familiar face behind him. Segarr finally showed himself. In the time it took him to knock Jey down, Neri pulled out her blaster. Now in a deadly stand-off, each facing the other's barrel without looking away, Neri responded to Jey's question. "One among many." Her reply made the Quarren grin. "What's so funny? You're supposed to take me alive if I recall correctly." The Bespinian saw doubt in the Quarren's eyes as she mentioned his objective. "Sadly for you, I ain't got no intention to leave you alive. So I suggest you'll be civil here and drop your weapon, cause my trigger finger is starting to itch." she proposed calmly, making sure that Segarr understood the predicament he was in. If his finger moved, so would hers. And while his blaster was undoubtedly set to stun, hers wasn't.

With a growl, Segarr dropped his blaster. "Jey, would you be a dear and pick that up please? You're part of this mess now anyway." She would need his assistance now after all, even more so if Aiden returned. "Okay, we're going to take our leave now..." the pilot started to take some slow steps back, her pistol still pointed at Segarr. She just hoped that Jey would follow her, and not make any rash decisions.

Jey watched the stand-off between Neri and the Quarren, some pretty intense stuff - he'd actually enjoy it if his face wasn't hurting so much. Girl was completely nuts though... or fearless, or both, she was completely in control of the situation which impressed him a lot. And like that, Neri had managed to talk her way into getting the Quarren to drop his gun. With a cocky grin, Jey obliged with Neri's order and picked up the Quarren's blaster - he'd be sure to keep that, two blasters are better than one. Holstering it on his other hip next to his DL-18, he laughed "Got your blaster." he said smugly as he backed away, following Neri.

Unsure of wherever it was the two were going, he still followed nonetheless. Jey wrestled with his emotions, getting caught off guard and hit in the face earlier really pissed him off... as well as embarrassed him. Throwing out any credibility he had at being an asset. Jey continued rubbing his face as he walked alongside Neri "I could've taken him." he said in an irritated tone, if only he'd had a chance to prove it... then again, something told him that would be the case later.

"You really handled yourself back there though, pretty wizard." he admitted as he stopped rubbing his cheek and interlaced his hands, resting them on the back of his head. "What's the plan anyway? Where are we going?" he asked, genuinely curious as he was unsure why they couldn't just go back to his ship and get the hell out of here... maybe there was more to the story? "Why're they after you anyway?" he queried again, he was probably asking too many questions but whatever. Anyways, it wasn't all bad, he had two blasters now.

Neri kept her gaze tightly on the Quarren, until he was out of sight. Grabbing the hand of her new ally, Neri quickened her pace, turning a few corners and moving through a few crowds, until she was certain that the Quarren would be able to track them. "I don't know about that. Guess you haven't met Segarr before. The man's a killer through and through. Believe he ate one of his victims alive once." she responded, letting go of his hand. The Bespinian pilot had worked with both Aiden and Segarr before. Neither had taken a liking to her, although she had never expected that the two would try to capture her. Perhaps there were more old acquaintances out there who had excepted the "Capture Neriya" assignment.

What she needed right now, was a solid plan. The kind she usually made up in the heat of the moment. Except that moment was a few minutes ago. And she still had no plan. Brushing a lock of white hair out of her face, Neri smiled at his compliment. "Thanks love. Gotta admit you looked quite stunning as well, the way Segarr dropped you." she teased with a mischievous smile playing about her lips. "The plan..." the pilot rubbed her chin. "Gotta get the kriff out of here." she paused. First, she had to go get her stuff, which was still at her hotel room. That was step one. Getting to the spaceport and away from the core, that was step two. Yeah, she could pull that off.

Neri turned to Jey again. "You like picking up girls with that fancy YT-2000 of yours? Cause I've changed my mind." she stated, expecting the answer to be yes. "If you don't wanna do it for free, I can pay you for the effort. Just tell me how you'd like to be repaid and I'll see to it." she proposed, half expecting another bad joke.

If Jey accepted her offer, Neri would continue. "Gotta get my stuff first. My hotel room is just a few blocks away. Also, next time we see that squidface, just shoot em."

Jey rolled his eyes in response to Neri's teasing, that didn't help his ego at all and he was too embarrassed to think of a witty comeback - a mocking "Har har." was all he could muster in response to the woman with the white streak, he then proceeded to take one long wipe on his face with his gloved hand in hopes of wiping off the embarrassment too. Then he watched as Neri's eyes, sort of, lit up at the concept of a plan.

The Force-sensitive teen went from embarrassed to uplifted in a matter of seconds when Neri mentioned 'picking up girls' in The Kath Hound. Jey grinned mischievously, she wasn't wrong - just the other night, he had a Zeltron girl in his private quarters... although he wasn't sure if he seduced her or if she seduced him, with those creepy pheromones they have, ah whatever it didn't matter. Jey then shook his head, returning his attention to the matter at hand, "You could say that." he responded grinning like a child while gazing to his right side. Neri then mentioned paying him in some sort of way if he wasn't feeling generous, he pondered for a brief moment - maybe asking for her contact information was too sleazy, he shrugged "Nah, free of charge. I'm trying to be... a better person." he said rolling his eyes as his memory travelled to the images of Astra and Ines, credits would have been nice though.

"Now you're talking my language." he said in response to being given the okay to shoot ol' squidface, he desperately wanted payback. Jey continued to allow Neri to guide him to her hotel and during the journey to the hotel, Jey and he assumed Neri too, kept their wits about them, looking out for any signs of her pursuers. Finally, the two arrived at Neri's hotel and for once he was shocked into silence, his mouth was agape and his hazel eyes were expanded "Y-you can afford this place?" he stuttered as he observed the hotel's exterior - Jey could tell from the architecture and design alone that this place was fancy, and if it was fancy, it was expensive.

Following Neri inside the hotel lobby, he was even more amazed at what was inside, the lobby was filled with bright colours and expensive looking decor that he was too poor to know exactly what it was. Scratching his temple, he smiled as he scanned the hotel's lobby "Wizard... hey, Neri? Mind if I just live with you... forever?" he asked half-jokingly, a life of luxury did not seem bad at all. What the hell was she doing getting involved with people like her pursuers?

The reaction of the teen as he entered the lobby greatly amused Neri. "Isn't it a little early for us to start living together love? I'd like to develop our relationship a little more before we take such a step." she teased. Leaving her coat at the wardrobe in the lobby, Neri strolled over to the elevator. "For your information, I could only afford this hotel room for a couple of nights. Wanted to know what luxury was like. And I gotta say, it's addicting." She stated, her hand hovering over the control panel until she found the 9th floor.

There was no sign of life in the corridor leading to her room. While she had seen the personnel in the lobby, there were none at all present on the ninth floor. Why? The hotel was always busy. In the few days she had spent here, not once had she seen the 9th floor, or any of the floors for that matter, empty. That was quite the red flag for the Bespinian pilot. With a hand on her holster, she advanced through the corridor. Arriving at the door that lead to her room, Neri motioned for Jey to be silent. Perhaps she was a little paranoia, but she didn't feel like getting shot in the face for being careless.

Carefully, the pilot opened the door. Her room was messy, the drawers were open, clothes on the ground and the lights were off. That wasn't the way she had left it. Someone had been in here. Someone could still be in here..

Neri took her blaster pistol out of the holster and cautiously advanced, with her back against the wall. Who else could be after her? Aiden, Segarr, what other mercenaries knew her well enough to track her down? She knew a few, but none would be bold enough to visit her hotel room. "Stay behind me.." she whispered, her eyes darting around the room for movement.

Entering the corridor that led to Neri's room, Jey immediately realised something was off due to its emptiness and he knew Neri felt the same when noticing her sudden change in body language. Neri motioned for Jey to be silent as they approached the door to her room, which he complied with with a simple nod, the young teen maintained a distance as she slowly opened the door - revealing a messy and dark room inside. Someone was inside, he knew that for sure, he sensed a faint presence coming from the room... either due to the intruder's own skill or Jey's proficiency (or lack thereof) in the Force.

Neri whispered for him to stay behind her as they entered inside, which he did. Jey removed his and Segarr's blasters from his holster and was ready to defend himself in case anyone would attack. The hazel-eyed teen mirrored Neri's movements as he stuck close and also had his back against the wall, although he noticed a silhouette in the distance and squinted to try and make out the shape - if it was a person or just his imagination. But before Jey could even make out what it was, it was revealed to be a green Twi'lek female as it leapt out of the shadows and toward Neri with a virboknife.

Jey had to respond quickly and couldn't risk potentially missing shooting his blaster off at her, instead he reacted on instinct and impulsively intercepted her attack by tackling her to the ground. The two scuffled on the floor for a few moments, whoever this merc or assassin was, she was trained well, at least trained better than Jey's street fighting knowledge. After scuffling with her on the ground, she managed to daze the black haired teen with a punch to his already bruised cheek and proceeded to lift him up and hold a vibroknife to his throat with her other hand clenching his jet black hair.

"Man..." he moaned at being bested in front of Neri again, "You better not have given me a black eye, you little nerf herder." the Twi'lek mercenary growled at Jey before turning her attention to the Bespinian pilot - "You! You schutta, I'm not supposed to kill you. But there's no rule about killing the kid, if you want him to live I suggest you come with me. Now." she said sternly. Causing Jey to roll his eyes at her threats "You honestly think she cares? I met her like five minutes ago, threatening me isn't going to force her to follow you." Jey bluffed, what he said was half true but he hoped his words unnerved the Twi'lek. Glancing to see her facial expression, it twitched and her grip on his hair loosened - she was beginning to doubt. Hopefully some way, somehow Neri would take advantage of this.

With a sideways glance at Jey, Neri knew for a fact that he had her covered. Perhaps he wasn't a great shot, but with two blasters, she doubted he would miss. With stealthy movements, Neri advanced through the room with her back against the wall. Someone had to be in here, but she had no idea who could've possibly found her. Truth be told, the pilot still tried to figure out how Aiden and Segarr had traced her steps. And more importantly, who else would be capable enough to do so.

As she was about to head into one of the rooms, a sudden motion at the top of the stairs caught her eye. She wouldn't have seen it, had it not been for the airspeeders that at rare occasions illuminated the room. The figure was one she instantly recognized. The poncho, hat and twin blasters immediately had her full attention. That nearly proved to be fatal for the pilot, as the Twi'lek with the vibroknife nearly ended her life. She would have succeeded, had it not been for Jey. Neri had little time to intervene, however, as the figure on top of the stairs opened fire.

Atleast a dozen of shots rained down upon Neri, with the intent to kill. Yeah, this was more like the woman she knew. With a swift roll, Neri took cover behind a table, barely evading the volley. "So it is you!" Neri shouted in surprise. "Say Rue, are you still angry?" Neri asked, as the woman named Rue fired a second volley at her hiding place. "Seems like it..." she muttered, knowing that the two had them checkmate. The short struggle for power between Jey and the Twi'lek ended in the latter's favor. She didn't know the woman, but the Bespinian pilot could tell she was a trained martial artist.

Neri slightly tilted her head as the Twi'lek called her a schutta. With her threat, the short battle was over. Rue had stopped firing, but undoubtedly she would shoot her the moment Neri showed herself. "Alright alright, I give up..." she said with an annoyed tone, sliding her blaster pistol in the Twi'lek's direction. Despite only knowing him for 5 minutes, she wouldn't let him get stabbed or shot. He had decided to help her after all, it was only natural for her to return the favor. "Just tell the lovely woman with the blasters not to shoot me, kay?" she raised her voice a little, making sure that Rue would hear her. "Only if you shut the kark up!" the woman threw back at her. That only seemed fair to Neri, who raised her hands and stood up, in silence. For once, she had no idea how to escape. She just hoped that they wouldn't harm Jey.

During the commotion, Jey hadn't even noticed of the other woman by the name of Rue, in the room with them. However, judging by the things Neri was saying and how kriffed off Rue seemed... there was some history there, any idiot could probably figure that out. Jey's eyes widened in surprise when Neri slid her blaster over to the Twi'lek schutta that had a vibroknife to his throat - "What the hell are you doin', Neri?!" he called out. He wouldn't lie, he was glad he wasn't going to die, he was dumbfounded that she risked her own safety for him.

The Twi'lek hit Jey in the throat with the blunt part of her vibroknife to shut him up, causing him to cough and gag. With her hands raised, Neri emerged from cover and he sighed - he had hoped that she would have figured some way out of here... but maybe he could instead. Rue approached her Twi'lek partner, standing next to her - she engaged in conversation with Neri "You stole my ship and abandoned me." she stated in a cold but hurt tone of voice. Oh yeah, there was definitely some history there, if Neri responded, he wouldn't know as he began to check out of the conversation, thinking about a potential way to escape.

Jey's gaze turned to the ground as he spotted Neri's blaster still on the floor. Stupid Twi'lek hadn't picked it up yet, perfect. Although the hazel-eyed teen had recently reconnected with the Force, he was still rusty and adjusting to having it in his life again but this was life or death. Jey closed his eyes, blocking the conversation... or bickering that Neri and Rue were currently having, he still didn't know, he reached out to the Force and remembered his father's teachings. Neri's DL-18 at his feet, hovered off of the ground slightly as to avoid making any noise, he moved Neri's blaster between his and the Twi'lek's legs and proceeded to elevate it behind her head.

Beginning to strain from the excessive amount of concentration, he began to sweat, he would have to do this now if he wanted to succeed. Feeling the metallic trigger of the blaster, he used the Force to pull it and a blaster bolt shot through the Twi'lek's head and killed her instantly as she fell forward. Rue was startled by the blaster shot and with the Twi'lek's grip from Jey now gone, he used the distraction to run, jump over the table and tackle Neri onto the ground Landing on top of her, Jey grinned "Hey." he said in a suave voice, before getting off of her and placing his back behind cover. He finally did something right.

"Saving your life sweetheart. You better be grateful." Neri exclaimed, as Jey asked her what she was doing. It annoyed her a bit that he reacted this way; she knew he was happy that he wouldn't have to die. Both of them knew that their assailants would, in fact, try to kill them if they tried anything remotely funny.

Neri turned to Rue who brought forth a rather sensitive subject. "I didn't mean to steal it from you... I was gonna return it.." Neri stated, feeling a little ashamed of how she had handled the situation. "Doesn't matter. You were still going to abandon me, weren't you?" Rue stated bitterly. Neri understood why she felt so bitter; their farewell hadn't been a good one.

Rue was the one who had gotten her off Bespin; albeit not willingly. Rue had helped her escape, when her other 'friends' and crew members had ditched her. But instead of teaming up with the bounty hunter and getting away together, she had left Rue behind. And why? Well, that was a subject she didn't want to touch.

"It was never going to work out between us anyway.." Neri muttered, visibly angering her former lover. Silence filled the room for a few moments, as the Twi'lek obviously couldn't care less and Rue tried to think of a not too overly emotional response. When Rue was about to break the silence, however, someone fired a blaster. But it wasn't the Twi'lek or Rue. No, it was.. Jey? Neri watched the Twi'lek collapse, confused as to what happened. Rue was just as startled as the Bespinian pilot, locking eyes with her former lover, almost asking her 'is this your doing'. Before she could point her blaster at the woman with the white streak, Jey jumped over the table and pushed Neri to the ground.

Neri blinked twice. Jey had landed on top of her, and his face was now really close to hers. She could tell that he was sweating, and his grin amused her greatly. "Oh my... I don't think this is the time or place..." Neri proclaimed. Although her almost teasing tone made clear that she didn't actually object, the danger present made escaping a better plan.

For a fact, Neri knew that Rue wouldn't give them a chance to get close. Right now, they didn't have any weapons either. This was going to get difficult. Rue wasn't firing a single shot at them; which made it hard to determine where exactly the Bespinian bounty hunter was. The only way to figure that out, was by baiting her. Luckily, that wasn't going to be hard.

"Our relationship was going nowhere! You knew that just as well as I did love!" Neri exclaimed, keeping her eyes and ears open for sudden movement. The pilot just gave her location away; no doubt Rue would try to take advantage of that. "Go around" Neri whispered, gesturing at Jey to move around his cover. Only seconds later, the pilot felt the barrel of a blaster pistol against the back of her head. Rue had found her.

The fact Neri hadn't rejected his accidental advances gave him the boost of confidence that he needed, though deep down he knew that was the most intimate the two would ever get. This schutta on the other hand, Rue, was smart. She hadn't fired a single blast yet, and so hadn't betrayed her location... there was nothing he and Neri could do either, seeing as they were unarmed. The hazel eyed teen considered using the Force again, but moving Neri's blaster earlier really took its toll on him.

Then Neri did something brilliant, something he would have never thought of - she baited Rue, but also gave up her own location. Jey nodded at Neri's command, following exactly as she said, quickly but quietly shifting around what he was using as cover. Now on the other side of cover, Jey sneaked toward the Twi'lek's body and picked up Neri's DL-18 before quietly rushing back to the table. Luckily Rue hadn't caught him yet. Then he figured out why... Rue had Neri completely at her mercy with a blaster pointed at the back of her head.

Acting on impulse once again, Jey stood up and aimed Neri's blaster directly at Rue - however, the boy's stature caught the woman's attention as her gaze quickly shifted to him. At an inhuman speed, Rue swiftly turned to Jey and shot at him but not before he could shoot at her as well. Jey and Rue's stand-off was immediately ended when the bolt from Neri's blaster struck Rue's arms and Rue's blaster bolt grazed his shoulder.

Jey cried out "E chu ta!!!"and fell to one knee, clutching his shoulder tight. However, the shot at Rue should have given Neri enough time to quickly finish the job.
