Here's the OOC thread for The Spice of Life.

I suppose in my excitement about the new timeline, and wanting to use my indie character, I created a thread without actually consulting anyone who might have been interested.

In any case, I suppose we'll see where this goes.

I'll make a post later today, now I don't have time to fully dedicate myself to it.

Anything particular you have in mind? What to trade and whatnot, if you want to lead the RP offworld, etc...

FYI, Nova will likely not be willing to trade in spice, specifically if it's the psychoactive kind. Also, add anything else smuggled in order to directly support the Sith to the blacklist of smuggled goods.

Sorry for my late response. Work and school are picking up a lot recently. Ugh.

I'm not exactly looking for anything in particular; I'm primarily scoping for underworld contacts for Magnus as he tries to make a name for himself.

Also, unlike Nova, Magnus wouldn't mind any sort of smuggling as long as it doesn't involve weapons, armor, or vehicles. Primarily spices, slaves, illegal materials and animals. Perhaps even a bit more focus on animals - I can definitely see Magnus organizing underworld animal fighting.

I'll post later today at some point. Looking back I realize I made Magnus look like an idiot in how he approached the Black Sun like that. Whether they actually set up a trade deal, or he gets recommended to go to someone else, or even flat-out denied, that's entirely up to you. Magnus could do with a learning experience as it is anyway.

I wouldn't put it like that! Heck, if Magnus is proficient with hand to hand combat, if he simply took down both armed guards without them being able to get a shot off and draw attention, that'd greatly impress their employer watching all of it.

You got Inter's attention, that's the first step - next is making a first impression. They are NPC's, anything you do will be successful one way or another. And I edited out the part of them having personal shields too, mind you.

Hey, sorry for not posting like I said I would @Shalken ; but, as things were on the thread, I didn't see much sense and opportunity for Nova to "drop in".

@MockaDash - That's perfectly fine, I see where you're coming from.

@Internecion - Approximately how far apart are the guards? Could Magnus stand approximately in between both of them and have both their guns be within arm's reach?

@Shalken Yes, for sure - especially if he steps forward inbetween both of them in a quick movement - go crazy, their NPCs kill 'em dead.
