Hello my friends, welcome to the archives. I will recount what has happened in the twenty years after the Great Galactic War, dealing with the aftermath.

Unrest in the Galaxy!

Twenty-five years have passed since Leandros Solus took up the mantle of Mand’alor the Crusader, plunging the galaxy into another period of strife. Since his declaration of a purge against both the Jedi and Sith, the Mandalorian people have worked tirelessly in rooting out and destroying the vile Force users where they can. The galaxy has changed significantly, for better or worse.

What Remains of the Sith?

In the past twenty years, the Mandalorians have assaulted the traditional Sith worlds of Korriban, Yavin IV, Vjun, Mustafar, and Dromund Kaas, forcing the Order from their homes and sending them scattered to the shadows! The remaining Sith temples outside of their space have been abandoned and left to the ages, though a small group of Sith warriors still continue to scour the galaxy and abducting Force-sensitive children to raise the next generation of Sith. These Sith have become a galaxy-wide bogeyman, nothing more than a tale that mothers tell their children to scare them into behaving.

The State of the Jedi Order & the Galactic Alliance

A schism has taken place with Teran Atrix at its helm. This underground resistance, alongside the rest of the Order, has been driven into hiding by the Great Purge as well, and the galaxy is quickly beginning to forget its existence. Teran’s group of guerrillas now fight a shadow war against the Sith remnants and the Mandalorian Dominion while simultaneously trying to grow the Order without drawing attention. No worlds will openly align with the once-proud knights, and their temples are small and scattered, if they exist at all.

As for those of the Galactic Alliance outside the Jedi Order, their worlds have joined the Republic. Those who once called themselves rebels now lead new lives as Republic soldiers, as citizens of their home worlds, or remain allied to the Jedi Order to fight the good fight alongside their longtime allies.

More still on the Mandalorian Front

The Mandalorians, on the other hand, are experiencing their own conflict. Mand’alor the Crusader, who some now call Mand’alor the Mad behind closed doors, has ordered the continued expansion of their territory to the galactic north and east, foregoing any measure of peace. In the past twenty years, the Mandalorians have taken over scores of worlds and sectors with fire and fury. Worlds once aligned with the Empire now see themselves forced under the autocratic rule of the Mandalorians, including Anaxes, which was taken over after its second refusal to join the Republic. Worlds are no longer won through diplomacy, and the planets under the Mandalorian control experience harsher governance as the Mand’alor seeks to impose his way of life on those not immersed in the culture. Some planets have begun dividing domestically over what to do – some see the signs of a new tyrant while others remain loyal, causing an increase in friction between groups.

Mandalore continues to be a wasteland as a result of the Sith glassing of it. The former capital of Keldabe has since been converted into a massive sprawling necropolis by order of the Mand’alor. Pilgrims come and pay their respects to the dead, as well as visit the site of Mand’alor the Chosen’s statue and where she fell in battle defending her people. The Mask of the Eternal is also buried deep within the necropolis, though nobody is aware of this. Some of the wildlife around the dead city are beginning to act strange and more aggressive, so pilgrims are advised to come well-equipped for a random attack.

Meanwhile, the clans are beginning to fracture and schism, citing the Mand’alor’s apparent madness as unsettling. Believing himself to be the divine avatar of Kad Ha’rangir, the aging warlord now leads his people by force and fear, and not through the admiration and loyalty to his people that he once led by. The War Council remains in power, though their focuses shift towards different goals. Koil retires from the War Council to be with his love, though he still remains Alor of his Clan. Drace and Narir remain in power. Narir retired from the role of Forgemaster and the Mand’alor’s daughter, Lily, has taken up the mantle after apprenticing beneath the foremost expert on Mandalorian forging for many years.

Clans Vizsla and Ordo are the first to openly riot and refuse to obey the Mand’alor, whom they believe ought to be replaced by someone younger and more stable. Other clan-aligned worlds are beginning to form coalitions, and the galaxy is seeing the instability of the Mandalorian clans unfold before their very eyes. Some sectors of space are now dominated by the clans, rather than the Mand’alor. Clan Kelborn, with the dar’manda of its former Alor, the loss of members, and their lowered reputation shrink and no longer become the second largest clan in House Solus. Open conflict between clans is common now as the Mandalorians demand a worthy foe to fight, and now Mandalorians are lashing out at one another.

What of the Republic?

The Republic stands strong in these twenty years, and due to the joint efforts, now has friendly relations with the Mandalorians. Chancellor Zale has led the worlds within the Republic to a new golden age of peace, her successor picking up the reins and doing the same once her term was up. In the first few years, the Mand’alor allowed the secession of his worlds to join the more stable Republic, so long as those worlds were not critical to the Mandalorian war effort. This does not last forever, and, as he begins to lose his mind, he tightens the leash around his worlds and refuses to allow their secession, forcibly removing leaders as he sees fit.

As a result of the War Crimes vote, many war criminals from the former Sith Empire are brought to justice. Additionally, thanks to their joint efforts, the Mandalorians have taught the Republic their forging methods, as well as began training their military to help them form a more organized fighting force. The Republic military is now a formidable, uniform, cohesive organization, and the Mand’alor encourages such interaction between their people to make the Republic a worthy foe for his people to fight decades down the road, as well as allow the Republic to stand on its own militarily. However, the Republic Navy is still relatively small, as the Mandalorians continue to hold the galaxy’s major shipyards and refuse to give up their secrets.

Those More Independent...

Blackwell Independent Technologies continues to prosper and has a bright destiny ahead of it. Now dominating the arms, ships, consumer goods, and technology markets, it has become a household name, and is widely considered the most prolific corporation in the galaxy.

In Hutt Space where the Mandalorians control a majority of the territories, the Mandalorians keep the Hutt cartels in check, keeping slavery, trafficking of people, and other heinous crimes down to a minimum having no tolerance for that. Still, can't kill an idea and you can't kill crime. The Hutts are a patient species, they will bide their time...
