  • The Galactic Republic is founded.
  • Coruscant becomes the Republic's capital.
  • The Jedi Order arises from the ashes of the Force Wars of Tython.
  • Jedi Knights establish a school on Ossus.
  • The Perlemian Trade Route is founded, linking Coruscant with Ossus.
  • The Alsakan Vicar falls ill from the pollution on Coruscant and dies.

  • Rana Mas Trehalt, legendary Queen of Duro, dies.
  • Dassid becomes King of Duro.
  • A noticeable rift begins to form between Coruscant and Alsakan.

  • The planet Nubia is settled.

  • The Herglic Trade Empire collapses.
  • The Herglic establish contact with the Human colonists of the nearby Tapani Sector and join the Galactic Republic soon after.

  • The slave trade becomes an everyday part of life on Ryloth.
  • The first lightsaber to not use a back-mounted power cell is built.

• 13,000 BBY
  • Lan Barell is discovered.
  • The Alsakan Union blockades and invades Coruscant, placing the planet under Alsakan control for the first time.
  • The Alsakan Vicar Laharra is assassinated after a meeting with Jedi Grandmaster Banik Kelrada on Ossus. The Alsakans claim Kelrada is behind the attacks, although the Jedi suggest it was the Alsakans themselves.
  • The Alsakan Union launches attacks against Republic forces on Ruan, Bessimir and Metellos, although all three attacks fail.
  • A schism in the Jedi Order on Ossus results in the creation of the Ospion Guardians, a rogue group of a Jedi Knights who left the Order following the psychotic break of Banik Kelrada and the death of Master Edo Tesu.
  • The Republic re-claims Coruscant from the Alsakan Union.
  • Republic Supreme Chancellor Relana Isolde Tanoor is assassinated by an unknown assailant during a meeting of the Galactic Senate.
