BIOGRAPHY
The gruesome violence enacted upon the galaxy during the First Order’s war on the Resistance had its beneficiaries. Chief amongst those profiting from such a bloody conflict was the droid manufacturing conglomerate Industrial Automaton. With its flagship series of medical droids the 2-1B, the manufacturing giant quickly found its product in high demand. The planetary base or spacestation in the galaxy. Each brutal footnote in the ensuing war found surgical droids diligently manning their operating stations, piecing the organic victims back together as best they could.

The Resistance victory at Exegol and the dissolution of the First Order ushered in the era of the Free World Alliance and its aim of de-militarization. This period found the medical droids transitioning back into private sectors across the galaxy. 2-1B’s plied their trade in private hospitals, corporate medical offices and as well as acted as private physicians to the wealthy and powerful across the rims. The desire for their services was not limited to law-abiding society however, and as such many units were procured by the resurgent criminal underworld. That is precisely how 2-1B serial number ‘IT-721X-00-079-21B’ (or “It0” for short) came into the employ of the notorious Hutt Cartel.

The galaxy’s rapid de-centralization of authority created many inroads for criminality to exploit and the Hutt Cartel was all too eager to advance their illicit spice and slavery trade. Such efforts put them in constant conflict with law enforcement (the nascent Sector Rangers not least among them). It0, with his decades of experience as a first-line trauma responder, proved more than adept at treating the cartel’s wounded organics. But as the syndicate’s efforts grew bolder, the accompanying risk intensified. While moving assets, the syndicate was caught unaware by a Ranger ambush. After a brief firefight, the Hutt’s illegal contraband was confiscated, an inert It0 alongside it. During the pitched battle, a wayward blaster bolt had crippled the droid’s processor unit.

For several years the damaged husk of It0 remained in the Ranger’s evidence lockup as the participatory Hutt associates were tried and summarily convicted. There the battered droid stayed for some time until a precinct fundraising effort brought old contraband out to auction. Charred chassis aside, It0 was an attractive acquisition for those with the skill to repair it.

Agents of Zentripoli, the Columi polymath, were a regular presence at such events. When It0 next awoke it was in upon a gurney in his workshop nestled in the bustling heart of the neon labyrinth of Nar Shaada. Even as the droid’s new master explained the circumstances around It0’s acquisition, the medical droid could sense a marked change in his cognitive functions. A vast, new range of datapoints shifted his mental processing into a fuller, more dynamic architecture than his previous programming. Each unit of sensory input was considered, analyzed and contextualized, presenting an array of what for lack of a better term could be called, an opinion.

“I’ve outfitted you with a new Heuristic Processor.” Zentripoli stated, perhaps anticipating the droid’s confusion. “This will allow you to learn through experience and grant you the ability to reason. It required a bit of modification to your personality matrices, but I’ve no doubt the result with justify the effort.”

Zentripoli’s operation suited It0 well, as being centrally located in bustling Nar Shaada the droid enjoyed a vast array of input that stretched his new cognitive abilities to their utmost. Beyond his responsibilities in caring for the physically frail Columi, the medical droid’s services were often extended to Zentripoli’s chief benefactors, the Crymorah Syndicate. As the nights ebb on through the choked Nar Shaada cityscape, It0 is developing at a rapid pace. As his personality begins to hew itself from his programming and protocols, he can observe the changes in him harden and calcify. Even It0’s vast analytic capability cannot accurately predict the future, but he is certain it will markedly different than anything he has experienced thus far.
[/COLOR]

APPEARANCE
As with all of the 2-1B series of surgical droids, It0 sports a humanoid design. A plasteel chassis sits over a semi-transparent torso sheath, which houses the droid’s remarkable medical computer. Its arms are modular, allowing the unit switch out equipment to assist in the delicate procedures its tasking calls for.

It0’s prolonged proximity to violence has left the droid’s once pristine chassis pockmarked with shrapnel damage. Its cranial casing sports a particularly nasty ‘scar’ where a sharpshooting Sector Ranger shot out its neural processor.
PERSONALITY
In accordance with his base programming, It0 carries himself with the diligence and professionalism typical of an advanced surgical unit. His interactions with organics are tempered with a certain bedside manner. The recent addition of a Heuristic Processor seems to have galvanized some change in the medical droid. His diagnosis are increasingly drawn from external input than solely from his vast medical databanks. An experience entirely new to It0, this ability to “reason” are introducing thoughts and concepts utterly alien to his programming. Repeated violence enacted on his patience increasingly turn the 2-1B’s thoughts to ‘preventative medicine’, implemented via blaster or vibroblade.

ABILITIES
Like all 2-1B’s, It0 is proficient in a wide range of medical expertise across an array of species. He is an especially gifted trauma responder, capable of efficiently stabilizing even the most gruesome of battlefield wounds. To aid in his effective treatment of organics, It0 is fluent in a variety of languages and dialects.

What truly differentiates It0 from other 2-1B units is his nascent penchant for violence towards aggressor organics. Unbeknownst to all, the heuristic processor and softening of his protocol matrices has facilitated in It0 a very liberal definition of the term ‘preventative medicine’. Repeated exposure to injured patients had led the wayward droid to an unheard of hypothesis. The hostile organics responsible for his clientele’s injuries are akin to any ailment viral or bacterial in nature.

As such, It0 has slowly began to incorporate combat readiness in his retinue of abilities. When his schedule allows, It0 familiarizes himself in the use of newly constructed modular extremities. In place of bacta applicators and syringes, he dutifully wields blaster carbines and vibroblades when the patient’s ‘chronic illness’ demands such ‘treatments’.

It0 set the medpac atop the counter and began the now nightly ritual of restocking its components. Nar Shaada, Nal Hutta’s largest city and It0’s new home, was as vibrant a environment as the medical droid had ever come across. Coruscant’s dark sister, the vertical city of Nar Shaada was home to a host of smugglers, grifters, thieves, outcasts and gangsters. With such denizens, violence and blood were commodities as easily bartered in as anything else. For a 2-1B Surgical Droid in service of the notorious Crymorah Syndicate, this meant business was both brisk and unpredictable.

Briefly running the analytics of the previous evenings incident specifics, he decided on bringing additional Bactapads. The storeroom was modest yet well stocked. Nestled in an ancillary room off the back of his new owner’s shop, the space was spartan even by droid standards. Neatly arranged shelves and containers of medical equipment lined nearly every perceivable space. The exception being a small workbench upon which the medpac sat. He had been in Zentripoli’s employ for a little more than three standard weeks and had found the diminutive Columi both generous and remarkably intelligent (by organic standards).

Although his primary function was the supervision and administration of medical care to admittedly frail Columi, his new owner had seen fit to outsource It0’s services to members of the Crymorah. This line of work, coupled with the installation of a new Heuristic Processor, had afforded the droid ample opportunity to stretch his newly acquired reasoning capabilities. The presence of ‘opinions’ against a backdrop of metric data and protocols was still a new one, but one he found remarkably fulfilling.

He scanned the medpac’s contents a final time, a checklist ticking past his internal display as he did so.

...stabilizer compound, sonic scalpel, cauterizer…

Once more a rolling wave of reason pulsed through the sea of datapoints. It0 opened a final container and phished out a small hold-out blaster. Tucking it neatly in the medpac’s interior, he draped the equipment over one shoulder and exited the storeroom.

The interior of Genius Droid Repair & Mods was silent and mottled by shadows.

What is going to happen in your plot? It0 and a cadre of like minded criminal-types will descend to the Old Duros Sector to investigate a marauding swoop-gang on the behalf of a medical peer who runs a neighborhood medical clinic.
What other writers (and their characters) will be a part of this?
  • It0
  • Darasuum as Kai
  • Killa Ree as Ilana
How many threads will this plot have? 3
Include opposition type for each thread (DM, dice, ASK/OPEN, etc): 2 Self-DM, 1 Dice
What do you or your character hope to achieve with this plot? What is the "end-game?” Link any items you’re seeking if applicable. If all goes according to plan, It0 will either become a partner in or acquire full ownership of Zed’s Meds in the Old Duros Sector. Ilana will subsequently gain a contact for cheap medical supplies and Kai will have the opportunity to move in the swoop gang’s old turf or assume leadership of the swoop gang. All three participants will receive a modest reward in credits as well.
Do you need any involvement of canon/site NPCs or faction leaders to be DMed by a staff member? If so, please detail who/what and for what purpose. No.

Zed’s Meds
Discount Clinic and Cybernetics

History and Location

Zed’s Meds is a local medcenter and cybernetics dealer in the Duros Sector of Nar Shaddaa. It was opened some decades prior to the current timeline, when the residents of Old Duros originally restored power to the town. The original owner, the titular “Zed”, is in fact Dr. Zedrick Alycon. Corellian by birth, Dr. Zed is the proud owner of a long and colorful medical career that has seen him run off some of the galaxy’s most prestigious planets.

Dr. Zed had already opened (and closed under duress) half a dozen offices on Nar Shaddaa before gambling on the newly reopened Duros Sector. It was there, in the perpetual twilight of a forgotten and forsaken district, his efforts finally found purchase. His current practice is a ramshackle affair, but beggars can’t be choosers and in Old Duros everyone qualifies as a beggar.

Staff and Personnel

Zed is the only employee with an active medical license (and that is dubious at best). The remainder of the staff are administrative in nature. They consist of one sentient and a pair of droids.

Layout

Wedged between two derelict buildings, Zed’s Meds storefront is an unassuming, somewhat industrial affair. The architecture is industrial and spare, giving the business the look of a personal garage than a medical center. Neon lighting rim's the modest interest as HoloAds for the latest cybernetic enhancements dance and writhe in the window display. The front foyer is dominated by a large administrative desk and an assortment of cheap furniture.

The business itself is a cramped and claustrophobic space. Half opened boxes of the supplies and stacked datapads compete for space with obsolete medical equipment and assorted personal effects. Columns of rubbish, knickknacks and cybernetic equipment line the back hallways and must be navigated around. Corroded piping and loose wires pose a constant hazard to patients and staff alike.

The workspace is split into two distinct sections. The first are a set of examination rooms which are spartan but serviceable. The second is the cybernetic’s labs where customers of the Duros Sector frequently come to get outfitted with premium secondhand, gently-used gear. Dominated by large restraining in the room’s center, it is fenced in all sides by chirping equipment and buzzing monitors. The lab’s original coat of paint is lost behind the dried and spackled blood.

Unbeknownst to anyone, Zed has acquired the dormant tenement next door and privately uses it for his personal “projects”. He accesses the space through a small bolt-hole in his office, the building’s entrance long since boarded up.

Intent

The intent is to provide It0 a starter shop and foothold in the Duros Sector, as well as provide any PC’s in the area access to discount medical care.

Skorr Krynn

Biography

Born and shaped in the harsh and unforgiving climes of the planet Trandosha, the saurian people known as the T’doshok have long been recognized for their strength and ferocity. Such qualities have found them often in the employ of masters requiring a brand of quick and ready violence that only such natural predators can possess.

In this regard, the experience of the Krynn brood was typical of the Trandoshan galactic diaspora. Whereon Trandosha, the Krynn family patriarch Drog was an able hunter and fisherman, he quickly found few offworld systems were eager to invest their faith in his kind. Nar Shaddaa proved the exception.

Drog and his lifemate settled on the Smuggler’s Moon, where in the grit-streaked neon lights he found work as a low-level enforcer for various street gangs. When the Crymorah came under the sway of the infamous Preef Callo, Nar Shaddaa’s resident Hutts began a vast and frenzied recruitment campaign. Every rogue and blackguard who could hold a blaster was conscripted in the defense of the jewel moon of the Hutt empire. Drog and his lifemate Shyrnn were gunned down in the invasion, leaving their only child Skorr an orphan.

Skorr’s childhood on Nar Shaddaa was grim and brutal. A survival eeked out at first by petty thievery. As he grew, he employed a brutality of his own. After all, the Smuggler’s Moon has little patience for the merciful. When not running cons or off-jobs for low level gangsters, Skorr found solace in swoop racing. His natural talent for the dangerous sport coupled with his formidable nature earned him the interest of local leader of the Sin Lords swoop gang, Gormo Keldar.

Now a patched member of the gang, Skorr stalks the grit-blasted levels of Nar Shaddaa in a search for a better life.

Personality

Skorr is considered outgoing by Trandoshan standards. The stark reality of life on Nar Shaddaa has taught him to value and revel in the good times when opportunities allow. Yet true to his cold-blooded nature, he is capable of remarkable cruelty and indifference when the situation calls for it. This callousness has earned him a reputation as an efficient and capable operator on the Smuggler’s Moon.

Skills

As with any member of his race, Skorr is both remarkably strong and durable. As any being who has faced off against a Trandoshan can attest to, his clawed hands make him formidable in any struggle until the very end. A life on the planet’s rougher sectors have left him streetwise and capable of thinking on his feet. He displays a cunning knowledge of the language of the underworld, having at times made his living as a cat burglar and enforcer. He is an expert swoop bike racer and a capable marksman.

DESCRIPTION
Describe your ship in detail. A ship is a ship, but what stands out about this one? What is it like, what should be known about it? Is it reputable and reliable work horse or is it a cheap piece of junk? Is it a successful product or commercial failure? What do people use it for? Why was it designed and built? Is it old and not manufactured anymore? Is it new on the market? Describe how the interior is set up, where the crew sits, how the accommodations are, etc. Tell us as much as you can.

LEGALITY
Describe the legality of ownership for this thing. Is it restricted to people with certain licenses? Is it illegal to own? A light freighter would be legal basically everywhere unless it's illegally modified or armed, but a gunboat loaded for Zillo beasts is probably going to be illegal or heavily restricted in many systems unless you're specially licensed or a member of groups allowed to be so armed.

INTENT
This is one of the most important sections. Why are you making this ship? What stands out about it and what role does it fill on the site? Who do you intend to use this ship? This should be a well-developed idea beyond "could be useful and there isn't one so I'm making it". If this is generitech, you can omit this section, but please be sure to ling to whatever design it is based on.

RESTRICTIONS
If any, explain what the relevant restrictions are. This could be anything from being restricted to faction use (like capital ships), NPC/PvE use only for certain overpowered weapons, limited to use during approved plots, only available via event rewards, or whatever else seems appropriate. If none, omit this section.

Biography

Kellan Solari was a renowned starfighter ace in the Imperial Air Corps. Born on the unruly frontier world of Ryloth, Kellan descended from a long line of lawmen. Kellan’s own father worked as a sheriff for a Ryll mining outpost, attempting to suppress the near constant criminal element that plagued the planet. When the elder Solari was gunned down in the line of duty, a deep contempt for chaos and disorder rooted itself in Kellan. He sought comfort in the stories of the old Galactic Empire and their draconian definition of justice.

Once of age, Kellan set off for the Imperial Flight Academy where he quickly displayed a natural intuition for flight. Upon graduation, he was assigned to one of the Imperial Navy’s most distinguished squadrons under the command of the infamous Tavell Hamber. The veteran flight lead possessed a fearsome reputation and stories of his skill, cunning and ruthlessness had been commonplace at the academy. While the elder pilot was indeed skilled, Flight Officer Solari saw little of the callous determination of which he had heard so much of.

Despite his success beneath Hamber, the man’s pragmatism and unwillingness to mete out punishment in the name order left Kellan dissatisfied and ultimately drove him to request a transfer to another flight wing. Assigned to the Imperial Star Destroyer Intrepid, the young ace was at last given command of a squadron of his own. Untethered from moral qualms or needless pragmatics, Solari led his squadron with a savagery that saw his reputation spread across Imperial Space. Soon, his legend was matched only by Hamber’s own, a fact Solari resented intensely. The pair would cross paths several years later when the now-Lieutenant Solari would purposefully sabotage a diplomatic mission that Hamber had been undertaking, evolving their latent dislike of one another into open hostility.

Personality

Lieutenant Solari is driven and ambitious, dedicated to the ideals of peace and order. Should these ideals come at the cost of the lives of those seeking to sew disorder, so be it. He views the Imperial Empire as a bastion of stability in an increasingly-chaotic galaxy hellbent on self-immolation. Despite this, he harbors concerns for the direction of this latest incarnation of the Empire. Its reliance on diplomacy and compromise are ill-suited for the ace’s personal brand of zealotry. He desires nothing so much for a return to the ‘old ways’ of bygone ages, in particular the bolstered swagger of the Tarkin Doctrine. Strength and aggression are the twin remedies for disorder in Solari’s view and he takes any measures available to employ them.

Those interacting with Kellan often find him self assured, bright and amicable. He is wholly attuned to his instincts and often chooses action over deliberation.

Skills

As his reputation suggests, Lieutenant Solari is an outstanding starfighter pilot with a list of accomplishments that grow daily. He is capable of flying a range of starfighters, bombers and shuttles though the up close and personal style of flying that accompanies dogfighting is what suits him best.

A graduate of the Imperial Flight Academy, he displays a keen mind for tactics and strategy. As is required for any Imperial pilot, Solari is sufficient in hand-to-hand combat and marksmanship.

Seraph Fleet

Seraph Fleet
Imperial Rapid Response and Intervention Fleet

“Attention combatants, this is Admiral Nika Vakar of the Imperial Star Destroyer ‘The Detente’. This system is now under the direct control and authority of Seraph Fleet. All negotiations made prior to our arrival are to be considered void. The time for compromise has passed. You will submit or be brought to heel.”

A holdover from the Sith Imperial Era, Seraph Fleet was founded around the concept of rapid response mobility, tackling a wide array of mission parameters from the quelling of insurgent star systems to humanitarian crises. Untethered to a single system or region, the fleet acts a ‘first responder’ for burgeoning emergencies or faltering front lines. It is an immediate response to the natural chaos and anarchic nature of the galaxy. Despite the Sith’s expulsion from the Galactic Empire, Seraph Fleet’s mission has gone largely unaltered and it continues to serve in its role as a vanguard of Imperial might in the most treacherous regions of Imperial Space and beyond.

Structure

Led by its flagship, the Resurgent-Class Imperial Star Destroyer ‘The Detente’ under the command of Admiral Nika Vakar, Seraph fleet is a mid-sized mobile fleet composed of at least three additional Resurgent-Class Star Destroyers, two Onager-Class Star Destroyers, an Interdictor-Class Star Destroyer and a retinue of Pugio-Class Frigates and Vigilant-Class Corvettes. A full complement of TIE variants provide the fleet starfighter support. Additional support ships fill out the remainder of the fleet to meet a host of requirements and roles. Assault ships, cruisers, medical ships, maintenance and personnel carriers ensure that whatever mission Seraph Fleet is tasked with, it is more than equipped to do so.

Capabilities

Despite its composition being structured around the concept of mobility, Seraph Fleet is outfitted to perform a variety of tasking and can take on an assortment of roles. This adaptability makes the fleet of unique value when operating in discordant or untamed regions of space.

BARANCAR, BARANCAR PORT, CANTINA...

"So, that's the story." Helen said, hands wrapped around a tall mug of ale. "Myself and the shuttle barely got back; normally I could handle a squadron of Uglies, but I happened to be in a starhopper even slower and more poorly armed than they were. At any rate, I went back once I tracked down a proper fighter to snoop around in; turns out there's a reason nobody's claimed that station yet."

Withdrawing a small holoprojector from her pocket, Helen slid the device to the middle of the table, activating it as she did. The image displayed was a TIEhunter, a prominent emblem emblazoned on its fuselage.

"They call themselves the Duinarbulon Neo-Lancers. I gather that used to be some kind of famous military unit in this region of space, but these kriffs are nothing of the kind. What they are is numerous, and they've scraped together enough snubfighters to equip a few squadrons. The local cops can't or won't deal with them; I can't blame them really, this is far from the only pirate den in the system."

Helen shrugged, leaning back in her seat.

"The good news is, the Barancar Orbital Authority has a standard bounty on pirates, dead or alive. If we can clear them out, not only does my company get a place to work out of, but we all stand to make a stack of credits. Plus, once we're finally up and running, I'm willing to give you all first pick of new Holcomb Garages products."

The Lepi pilot looked around hopefully at those gathered.

"What do you think?"

Raxus
Northwest Quadrant
1830 Hours

The rain that accompanying Kellan since his arrival on Raxus had thankfully dissipated into a sheer mist by the time he stepped from the maglev train and onto one of the city’s busier thoroughfares. Peering upward and through the lattice of catwalks and the crawl of hover-traffic, he caught a sliver of deadened gray sky. Holo-adverts in gaudy pastels burned against the monotone drizzle and all around was the jostling thrum of Imperial industriousness. The metropolis’ inhabitants moving in an unending press of pedestrians, congestion and frenetic vigor. The atmosphere carried a metallic taste that burnt his throat. Kellan flipped his overcoat up against the rain.

“Nearly there now, Lieutenant.”

If his droid companion was at all bothered by the near-constant precipitation, it didn’t let on. Its rain-dappled photoreceptors simply pinned him with their polymer gaze in an effort to determine his reaction to its remark, and thus to gauge its success in achieving whatever predetermined directives were floating around in its durasteel cranium. Lieutenant Solari had little patience for droids and their programmatic etiquette. May as well have a conversation with your food synthesizer. The thing had met him when he had touched down on the landing pad outside the city proper, primly informing him that it was to escort him to his specified meeting location.

“Great.” he said. “Then let's get moving.”

“Of course, sir.” replied the droid cheerfully, seemingly undeterred by the organic's gruff demeanor. “This way please.”

They shouldered their way from the station, through the late-afternoon swell of commuters. Every manner of being in the galaxy seemed to be present and seem unified in the shared goal of heading the opposite direction from Kellan’s. With watching with growing irritation as the RA-7, several steps ahead, navigated the sea of organics with apparent ease. Its matte-black cranial component occasionally swiveling around on its servomotor.

“Almost there, sir! Just ahead, Lieutenant!”

By the time the pair veered off onto one of Raxus’ countless tributary streets, Solari felt as though he might collapse from exhaustion. How did the citizens here tolerate such tight quarters? It made life aboard an Imperial Star Destroyer seem utterly pastoral by comparison. Following the droid through a dizzying procession of buildings and turbolifts, noting the increasingly stately decor of each as they went.

The lift’s durasteel doors opened onto one of the ferrocrete walkways of Raxus’ upper levels. Somewhere along the rain had either cleared or they had simply ascended to elevation beyond its reach. The path extended outward toward an ornately decorated building of luxom. Only corpos could afford to be so ostentatious. As he and the droid approached, he caught their reflection in its mirrored exterior and wondered at how out of place a simple TIE pilot must appear. Above the main entranceway, in lettering of delicate silver, it read Vosselin-Astradine Corp.

The name was a familiar one. Any pilot that spent the requisite time with their technical readouts would have seen it countless times before. Vosselin-Astradine was a well-known designer of propulsion and thrust systems, having worked closely with the manufacturer of the TIE Impetus Interceptor, Drommund Kalakar. The Impetus line had seen the Interceptor markedly improved in terms of durability and firepower. Shrugging off the inability for hyperspace travel and the welcome addition of deflector shielding made the craft a far more versatile and dangerous version than its predecessors. Vosselin-Astradine had been brought on to ensure that none of these innovations subtracted from the Interceptor’s signature speed or maneuverability. A task at which they had, by all accounts, met and exceeded expectations.

And so when word had come down from his superiors that he, along with several other experienced pilots, was to meet with Vosselin-Astradine engineers at one of their facilities on the Imperial homeworld of Raxus, Solari’s interest had been piqued. Vague promises of propulsion advances had been mentioned as well as the need for the insights of ‘Subject Matter Experts’ on the matter. His CO had been unusually tight-lipped with further specifics but rather signed off on Kellan’s required leave before sending him packing for Raxus.

What could he offer engineers that they weren’t able to determine for themselves? Surely Vosselin-Astradine had a fleet of their own test pilots for the purposes of quality assurance. Regardless of the unknowns, the prospect of an even nimbler TIE filled him with excitement. The 81st was already able to catch most opponents they ran across flatfooted. A squint, as naval personnel lovingly referred to their Interceptors, with an even greater turning radius would leave the majority of their potential foes positively devoid of answers.

They proceeded through the entranceway and Kellan was surprised to find the ‘building’ was little more than an entrance leading into an atrium. The back of the room consisted of a single turbolift door in front of which sat an attendant manning a small desk. The rest of the wall was comprised entirely of windows overlooking the vast urban sprawl of the metropolis.

The protocol droid approached the desk attendant and the pair exchanged words while Kellan busied himself studying the city view beyond the windows. He noted something unusual. Extending from the rear of the building, approximately from the spot beyond the turbolift door, was a broad, black cable composed entirely of carbonite from the looks of it. The massive tubing stretched from the building and arced steeply skyward and as Kellan followed its trajectory was shocked to find it disappeared several thousand meters above, vanishing into the cloudbanks above.

The RA-7 joined him by his side.

“We have been cleared for ascension, sir.” the protocol droid informed him. The lieutenant offered him a puzzled look.

“Ascension?” he repeated, looking back toward the cord climbing into the atmosphere. “To where?”

Vosselin-Astradine’s primary Research & Development facility on Raxus resides approximately thirteen standard kilometers above planetary groundlevel on the X-1 Skyhook.”

“A-a skyhook?” Kellan repeated. Despite his time in the Imperial Navy, he was at heart just a yokel from a backwater system and it seemed no amount of interstellar travel could erase that fact.

“Indeed sir.” the RA-7 replied. “Skyhooks are structures residing above the surface of a system through the aid of repulsorlift technology. Such seclusion allows the owner of such properties a measure of secrecy and security, both of which are deemed top priorities for research facilities such as this one.”

The droid turned toward the turbolift door, which had slid open to reveal a well-appointed interior.

“All access to the X-1 facility is funneled through this turbolift which travels through the nanofiber Skybridge. Our estimated ascension time will be roughly forty-five standard minutes.” The droid took a few shuffling steps towards the turbolift.
“Lieutenant, in light of such extended travel time, perhaps it would be wise for us to proceed?”

DESCRIPTION
Prior to its designation as an asset of the Imperial Security Bureau, the Crusader II-class Corvette Coronet enjoyed a long, if somewhat unexceptional career. Originally commissioned to assist in combating the growing threat of piracy on Imperial worlds in the Outer Rim, The Coronet was initially attached to the Ninth Fleet where it saw action across the breadth of the Western Dominion.

When the Empire divorced itself of the Sith and underwent the arduous process of restructuring, the Navy followed suit. The fastest capital ships and their support vessels were inducted into the newly created Seraph Fleet with an emphasis on rapid response measures. The Coronet soon found itself attached to one of Seraph Fleet’s numerous task forces.

With the cessation of the Hutt War at the Cantonica Concordat and the resulting incursion of cartel activities within the realms of Imperial Space, an element within the ISB turned its attention to the surveillance and monitoring of the newly arrived criminal element. The bureau’s naval component, Blackout Fleet, subsequently began a silent requisition of starships and personnel from the wider Imperial Navy. The Coronet, while abstractly still attached to Seraph Fleet, in reality serves as a Blackout Fleet asset. A trait it shares with the young Imperial naval officer Kellan Solari, its newest captain.

LEGALITY
Restricted. Crusader II-class corvettes are classified as capital ships under Galactic law, and possess powerful weapons. As such, civilian owners will require extra licensing to operate one legally, and will receive increased scrutiny by authorities.

INTENT
To create a page to document any modifications and history added to Kellan Solari's command vessel, The Coronet.
