Tor Solus. Hunter. Captain. Taung.
He ran through the forest, heart hammering. His eyes were wild with fear, the gun gripped in his hands. He tore through scrub, stumbling over the roots crawling over the ground, hidden by the discarded leaves. He had seen it. Only a brief flash before it had torn into his group, then melting from view.
Eventually, he found the ship. They had come here, away from everyone, to hunt. The beasts out here were apparently a worthy target, hard to find, only an expert tracker could take them down. They had revelled in the hunt, the challenge.
But now...
Now, they were the prey. The target of a lone monster. He sighed, clambering into the cockpit. He would be happy to leave here.
He gasped, a blade bursting through his chest, glistening with his life fluid. Pain flowed through his chest, ending in his limbs. He was thrust from the cockpit of the craft, spluttering.
The monster leapt from the top of the small ship, approximately nine feet in height, a titan by even it's own dark breed's standards. It landed in front of the lone man, who realised, in a detached fashion, he had vented his bowels in fear. He tried to form words, but they came out as a wet babble.
The monster leant down, regarding the hunter through the blue lenses of its dark red helm, before popping a wrist mounted blade into the neck of the man. He jerked and flailed as he died, his life fleeing his crippled form. With a pop, the monster ripped the head from the now cooling body. It pulled out a knife from a belt around its waist, dangling with trophies from former kills. Expertly, he skinned it, leaving a grinning skull. He looped rope through the eyes, adding it to his paraphernalia.

Other hunters melted from the surrounding trees. There was distance between them. They accepted his presence. They did not enjoy it. He stood taller than them all, but alone. Words were barked in a harsh tongue. The giant squared up to the smallest, and most vocal of the other hunters. They stood there for a moment, the smaller one grunting, contemptuously turning away. The titan made a grunting sound, a shoulder mounted weapon sliding away on it's armature. It looked around at the others, in an almost challenging way. They melted away, some seeming to shake their heads. The beast in red plate followed, somehow melting into the foliage with its brethren.
(WIP. Adding more after I straighten more things out.)
