Shal was sitting in a small utilitarian room, his brown, knotty features moving this way and that. The shape-shifting abilities of his people were somewhat useful, though all they did was change shape, they were still plants at the end of the day. Shal was an impatient person and liked to use this gift to pass the time, which he did now. His arms and legs twisted and turned into various shapes, though this may have amused a small child, Shal wasn't. He had been around for 79 years, not long for his people but ancient to some. He was waiting for his Shade Master to come and train him, something he had anticipated a lot, as he had dreamed of this moment for a year or two now.
