Training a plant (Shal Koom's Training)

[McFisticuff]

Shal was sitting in a small utilitarian room, his brown, knotty features moving this way and that. The shape-shifting abilities of his people were somewhat useful, though all they did was change shape, they were still plants at the end of the day. Shal was an impatient person and liked to use this gift to pass the time, which he did now. His arms and legs twisted and turned into various shapes, though this may have amused a small child, Shal wasn't. He had been around for 79 years, not long for his people but ancient to some. He was waiting for his Shade Master to come and train him, something he had anticipated a lot, as he had dreamed of this moment for a year or two now. It is worth the wait He thought, it is worth the wait...

 

[Trakon]

Basilak walked into the room, his presence following along in seconds. His shoulder length hair was wet, and his blind eyes were covered with sunglasses. He aproached the strange plant-like being, and took in what he could.

"Shal Koom, am I correct?"

 

[McFisticuff]

"I am, are you my master?" Shal was excited, Finally, I'm going to be a Shade. He shifted into a more humanoid form and bowed awkwardly. "I am honored to meet a Shade, you are a Miraluka, correct? I have seen a few of your kind before."

 

[Trakon]

"Let's hope I am, or else someone gave me the wrong name. I am a Miralaku, and my name is Basilak. I am going to train you in the ways of Shade."

 

[McFisticuff]

"Ok, so what do I learn first? Pushing? Levitating?" Shal was giddy with excitement, something that looked odd on a large tree-like humanoid with robes on.

 

[Trakon]

"Not exactly. I want you to tell me what you think of this place first, and our Order."
