An overtasked local security force simply cannot cover the ecumenopolis' millions of streets and thousands of underground levels all at once, and seedier elements have claimed whole districts for their own. I'm curious to know who also got excited reading the second part of the write-up above and is playing a space criminal this timeline. Personally I've got two, Davik Lorso and Menderling Smollet (linked in my signature) with which I plan to do a whole lot of stuff ranging from cheating at the pazaak table to pirating the Core worlds in a search for glory and riches.

What are your plans?

[Internecion]

I intend to use Internecion here essentially as the Sith Brotherhood's eyes and ears in the form of the criminal underworld, in far reaching sectors of space, Coruscant's lucrative underbelly a perfect example of my long term goals. I've developed a lot of stuff to go off in this character's biography (included several other Sith PCs) to establish a vast interstellar criminal enterprise, based entirely around the spice trade and arms trafficking. He uses the NPC faction Black Sun as his essential backing, protection, and resources - giving him a reach as far as the Core Worlds, but as such I am going to RP that out, for the moment I'm keeping it focused around the Outer Rim, outside of his exploits in the Sith Order. I aim to mold this spice cartel openly as another powerful criminal force in the galaxy, but secretly to establish Sith spy networks everywhere. The more dealings Internecion has with non-Sith aligned characters the better I personally think, so I'm totally open to any collaborated plot you want to start to brain storm over, or any thread to just go into the direction of a more underground, black market based theme.

My Tolt'orr, linked here, is a very notorious criminal with a reputation of a sellsaber, being that he is an ex-Sith with 14 years of training. Perhaps he could get involved.

I got a Czerka character. He is a upper-class type of bad guy that will hate going in to the lower levels.

 

[Nor'baal]

Czerka will have (hopefully) an office on Coruscant, and I want a dystopian style lockdown near it - because that would be cool. However, as part of that I have an idea for a future mission arc that would take place on the planet, in which Czerka would promote crime, leading to people buying more of Czerkas home security products!

So - crime on Coruscan interests me a great deal.

hooo that sounds like fun. Even better if we target homes and bussnies not using our products. Then marketing can say "Czerka HS1 security system is 250% better than the nearest competitor"

@Internecion I want Menderling Smollet to have some friends on Serenno (due to its write-up) and I think you being a Sith we can work something out quite nicely. Hit me up in the Sith Faction Chat or via PM if you have an idea :)

@Dankar Maple I like the sellsword idea translated to SW! Let me know what kind of threads you're interested in and we'll work something out. Both my characters would have enemies and could use a lightsaber while doing business planetside.

@SoB I like the character a lot, and it's not just because we're both ripping off 007's looks. Any RP idea, just PM me :)

@Nor'baal you make me happy. I'm so glad we married in a drunken whim on Nar Shaddaa last timeline..that's still binding right? Post your ideas here when you got 'm so everyone can rejoice.

My character Magnus Valen would fit perfectly into the Coruscant underworld. He technically works for PriceCorp, a fuel company based on Coruscant, but he also runs the secret black market side of the business. I plan for him to be heavily involved in the planet's crime sector as well as organizations such as the Smuggler's Association.
