"So you concentrate on your perceived version of a group of a much larger movement rather than recognising what the entire movement represents at large, which is the progression of socio-economic circumstances for women until it's a state of true equality for them?"

Perhaps you're right on that, I don't know what the "silent majority" of feminists want. But the damage said perceived vision has done to political liberalism as a whole unnerves me. I can't say I'm far left without people associating me with some jibbering jackass who fumes at every little thing that doesn't go my way like a spoiled brat. The minority has done significant damage to their own movement and liberalism as a whole.

The fact that this conversation has devolved into a bunch of dudes sitting around moaning about how bad feminism is is giving me cancer.

Trump is a prime example that the GOP party has been hijacked by the Tea party minority, which will ultimately lead to its death. Trump and rather ignorant remarks by ult right people have turned the Republicans into a circus show, which makes moderate conservatives look terribly bad. I really wanted to be a republican, I support economic points of view, decentralized federal government, but too many Republicans hold onto the old ways of thinking. A friend of mine that is a really die hard republican even stated that he felt the same way I do, "That Republicans will never be able to revert the culture back to the way it was. times change and people need to adapt--new social norms come with these changes." Republicans and social conservatives can only drag their feet, and end up on the wrong side of history in my opinion.

I find it rather hard to understand how some people can deny that there isn't racial profiling against black people, that women are still looked down upon compared to men. That we have people serving large prison sentences for drug offenses, while rapists are getting short sentences. I love capitalism as a self proclaimed libertarian, but even I can see that with capitalism comes privilege, appropriation, and institutional racism. This is things that we need to work on fixing if we want to get the country back on the right track.

In closing, I don't really have a candidate that I support one hundred percent, but I'm going to be voting for Gary Johnson--even with his gaffs and mental lapses on air, I still feel that out of all the candidates that we have this year he is the one that I want to be president. This is just my final thoughts on the whole thing, and I'm ready for the whole circus to be over.

Outlander stands upon a barge floating gracelessly along the Hudson River. Before him, the city burns, riots flaring and falling as the tyrannical corporate police fall upon them in waves, representatives of the Presidential Autocracy. The be percent are all sealed away in their doom bunkers, awaiting the complete destruction of the middle class. A single tear falls down his face as the memories of the 2016 election flash before him like a bad movie, with no happy ending in sight. "Feel the burn." Another tear follows as he turns away from the scene, repeating his own personal motto of faith.

"Feel the burn."

End of the world:

Hillary Clinton v.s. Donald Trump

To my fellow conservatives, please, we got the joke. Trump is crazy. It's funny, moving on. We can't actually make the dude president. He is killing any amount of legitimacy as an ideology we might have. And I cannot stand the thought of Clinton being the first female president. Women need a better representative than an awkward faux feminist liar.
Ironically, 8 months later, this is still true.

I think Jordan Peterson from the University of Toronto said it best. If the far left continues pushing their agenda the same way they have been doing in the last few years, screaming as lound as possible and mostly 'feeling' the problems they claim exist, using the whole movent as a means to gain an advantage over other population groups, then there will be a hard push into the other direction and the far left will be the group that get hurt most in the process.

The far left has to realize that people are far less modern, liberal and progressive than they claim they are or even know themselves. A fear of everything that is different and selfishly caring about your own well-being is inherently human. Most people just take the easy way out and are PC so that they can get along with others easier. You don't really want to see the majority of people speaking their mind on certain things. SJW should really be carefull how hard they push their agenda. I don't think society as a whole will stand them forever. And personally I do not want to be around to see what will happen once society feels that it has gone far enough.

Literally none of this makes any sense.

Just wanted to clarify, far left =/= pseudoleft, which are the whiners I was whining (lawl) about. As my contemporaries in my uni and I understand it, a traditional Marxist has nothing to do with gender, racial, or identity politics that would subdivide and reduce the power of the working class as a whole (which ultimately will solve the problems the latter sections of the left discuss much more effectively by equalizing the economy, decimating the divide which women, minorities, and homosexuals are placed on the wrong side of).

Not being able to make sense of something does not equal it not making sense.
.....that's literally what that means.
And I didn't say this doesn't make sense to me, I said it doesn't make any sense.

This is hilarious.

Mitt Romney supporters also claimed, despite all evidence, that liberals were being oversampled in polls, that polls were skewed, that President Obama couldn't possibly win a second term, etc. They were wrong then. Those same people are wrong now. Hillary Clinton will win.

All of this just seems to keep boiling back to the divide between rural and urban populations in your country in a post-modern context. It's so damn obvious that I have no idea why it's never a more prevalent aspect of the discussion surrounding your election process.

This is the English language, I can't teach you that.

If you don't get that 'to make sense of sth.' and 'sth. making sense' are two different expressions, both with different meaning, then we can't discuss anything. Simply because we are obviously not speaking the same language. I'd advise you grab a dictionary and start reading that. ;)

He bankrupted a casino.
He bragged about assaulting women.
He rambles about important issues like a third grader trying to present a book report when they've never read a book.
He wants to tear apart the families of millions of people, despite the fact the nation he wants to run was founded by and thrived with the drive of immigrants.
He thinks walls solve immigration issues.
He talks about ten-year-old girls in a sexual manner.
He talks about his own daughter in a sexual manner.
He has far less money than he claims.
He's a proven racist and a sexist.

I'm not really seeing an argument for hiring the guy here.

EDIT: Not sure if you're trolling or actually serious? Do you need that? Like for your ego you need to try and mock anonymous strangers online to comfort your ego? Are you that small? Is this a 'size of your genitals' kinda thing?

This is pathetic, mate. The point is that regardless of how it's framed, the concept doesn't make sense regardless. You also misread my original statement in some pathetic attempt at a personal attack because you yourself were offended....after just talking about how much you dislike offense culture in an erroneous statement that again, didn't make any sense.

Also, why are you even wasting your time on this argument? This matters to you? Grammar bating someone online because they told your written block of text didn't make sense?

This is sad.

The only one taking this personaly seems to be you. I thought it was very 'on discussion' to point out that what you were feeling about my post was irrelevant to the content of my post. Just like the feeling of the far left of being somehow marginalized or discriminated against are irrelevant. Argumemts need to be suported by facts and language follows rules. No reason to get all emotional about that.
And if you feel that I am offended them you can of course feel that all you like but it still does not make it any more true. :)
