It was the perks of being a Layman, you put your work in, do a good job, and the organization rewards you. This was such the case, Kincaid has been working on a project for quite sometime. The Organization he worked for kept track of peoples ambitions and invested in them, just like how members invested in the organization. It was bigger than a petty street gang, that took a while to sink into Kincaid's mind. The hatch of his ship opened with a hiss, stepping out his eyes blinked, he had to give his bosses some credits. What seemed to be like a string of forms and homes in the boonies was a network of safe house connected by an under city. Of course if you were not in the know such passages would be unknown to a blind eye. Before he could see anything a few young men approached him, seeming to blend in perfectly with the population Kincaid had a hard time making them out due to the sunlight. The downside of spending time in a ship for a few days, it took a while for your eyes to adjust.

After the glare ended Kincaid could see a kindly balding older gentleman before him. The man grabbed his hand and shook it. "Kincaid, it is a pleasure to meet you, please come in. We have a meal waiting for you inside. Please excuse my sons, our community is very zealous in protecting our investments." Kincaid smiled, when he first became a Layman he was uncomfortable with everyone knowing him, but that is how it worked. The network was tight, you were seen weak if you did not read up on the Laymen coming into your territory. If you are good to the Retrade they are good to you, it is kinda like a family, except if you mess up, they will spank you with a few blaster bolts to the head. "Can I ask what you guys grow here?" The Old man laughed as he lead Kincaid into the large farm house. "You may, but you will probably not get the answer you want," the Old Man said, Kincaid eyed the group of young gentleman as he passed them and entered the house. Suddenly he was overwhelmed with the smell of fresh food, Kincaid remembered how hungry he was, out of habit he never brought much food on his journeys saving the space for months of bland rations. He could not help but feel his mouth water.

Entering a large dining room he saw a feast already prepared, along with other people who were obviously off worlders. "Sir, the hospitality is very appre," the Old Man interrupted him with a laugh. "Nonesense, we are all family here, even you Kincaid, please sit and enjoy, I will see to your supplies they will be fully loaded in a few hours. If you wish to rest we can set you up with a guest room down stairs." With that the Old Man vanished and he was surrounded by strangers. Kincaid looked around awkwardly nodding to a few of the patrons politely and before saying any words began to fill his plate.

His piloting skills were coming along nicely. His landings were getting better and better and he relied less and less on his droids to do the tricky parts of traveling in space, the tricky parts being punching in hyperspace coordinates, making the jumps to light speed, well now they didn't seem all that hard. He still wasn't as good of a pilot as Shyra or Tre were but Yuri Sharp was now a decent space pilot, that much was safe to say. Flying in space used to be his biggest weakness, now he was slowly but surely getting rid of it.

It was the first time Yuri had been to the planet of Dantooine, the grassy plains and animals were certainly a scenery change for someone like him who grew up on the planet of Nar Shaddaa. His Copperhead powered down and the Retrade Underlord, or Commander as he preferred to be called prepared to exit the ship. The reason that the Commander of the RRT was visiting this particular Enclave was that there was a package that he needed to take possession of, personally.

Making the rather lengthy trip wasn't too exciting, but the package was obviously important to Yuri so he did it without complaining. It wasn't all bad though as the doors to his ship opened. He seemed to have brought some company with him as a muscular Trandoshan followed him outside, along with Mr. Cuddles, his pet Vorn-cat. His droids and another Vorn-cat remained on board the ship as Yuri wore an unassuming black flight suit and made his way to the entrance of the Enclave, his ship staying on the landing pad near by.

The muscular Underlord went straight to the entrance where an Old man, no doubt the one in charge of this Enclave awaited him. Yuri extended his hand to greet the man, respectfully he bowed his head slightly after having tapped the head of his 'cuddly' pet, telling him that it was alright. Mr. Cuddles wasn't a big fan of traveling, but he was less of a fan of being left home alone.

The two men proceeded inside, straight to an office where business would be handled. Some fifteen minutes later the door once again opened and a small package was given to Yuri's Trandoshan friend who proceeded to carry it back to the Copperhead. So with a polite smile on his face Yuri turned to face the Chieftain of the Dantooine Enclave and tapped his shoulder. "Now that we've got that out of the way, we can have that drink you spoke about my friend." Visibly relaxed Yuri was glad that this little job went smoothly. So now that that was out of the way he had a few hours before he would get back on his ship and make his way to Coruscant.

He had some stuff to pick up there as well, and an old friend to visit...

Kincaid saw the giant of the man enter, along with the older gentleman. "Of course Mr. Sharp, the hospitality of Dantooine are here for you to enjoy." The older man directed Yuri to the table where the food and refreshments were. Kincaid at this point has already helped himself, eating some bantha steak and drinking some ale he smiled at the new comer. "Donovan Kincaid,"he said politely to the new person. The older man smiled at the two, "I need to so to some business, if you need anything Mr. Sharp feel free to request it from any of the attendants." Almost chocking on his food Kincaid fixed his composure, typically people higher in the totem pole had that kind of respect, Kincaid was just a lowly Layman, a working man just trying to get by. Kincaid hoped he did not offend the gentleman, the last thing he wanted was to be disciplined, he saw what happened to the Retrades trouble makers.

"So, Mr. Sharp is it?"

Kincaid said, with a friendly smile. "Do you know much about ships?" He was working to build more connections, he always wanted to design a ship, but he lacked the resources to make his dream come true. Kincaid knew better then to be introverted, if your dream was to come true you had to have friends. He had no idea who this Mr. Sharp was, but if he was higher on the totem pole maybe he could make things happen. "I have been trying to design one, but I lack the resources, I am an engineer you see. I have a lot of experience fixing things, but I want to get into the business of building them," he said inbetween taking another bite of steak. Kincaid was dressed in a simple grey and black flight suit, he was not expecting to stay the night here so he did not bother to bring any extra clothes.

The name of the older, bald, gentleman was Giramma Haup and he was the Underlord of this Enclave. A well mannered man, treating Yuri with nothing but respect, it was easy to see how he reached the age that he did. He was calm and he knew how to handle situations and guests. Excusing himself the man tended to some of his other obligations, which was fine with Yuri, after all he already received the package that he came for, so it made all the sense in the world for him to relax a bit. With his pet by his side the Underlord took a piece of meat and put it in front of his Vorn-cat.

"There." And only then did the giant saber-tooth cat start eating, chewing on it and enjoying it while Yuri extended his own hand and met Mr. Donovan Kincaid. Offering a nod and a polite smile Yuri sat down on the opposite end of the table where Donovan sat. Looking around the polite fella seemed nice enough to talk to, so the man decided to relax and talk to him a little. "Yuri Sharp." The rugged man answered, unzipping his jacket further as he felt the temperature in the room rise a bit.

"Is that so? Well Mr. Kincaid, I can honestly tell you that I don't know much about constructing them. My partner is the expert there. But I can honestly say that I love ships. But why haven't you been able to design them?" If the problem was getting the right software and hardware Donovan certainly made the right call in talking to Yuri about it. After all he did know a few people here and there. And while he didn't know much about constructing them, he certainly knew a bit about blowing them up.

Taking a piece of meat and bringing in closer, putting it on his plate, Yuri awaited a reply, after all if all it took was the right tools, than maybe Yuri would be able to help Donovan quite a bit. After all Yuri had a similar dream to him, he too wished to build ships...
