SKILLS:
- Negotation

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
- Strengths: Being a massive and fully grown Togorian, Vosh is incredibly strong and powerful. He dwarfs full grown Wookiees, and uses this intimidation to his advantage when necessary. Vosh has a loud, booming voice which he often uses to control a tense negotiating room. He prefers to solve his problems with a lightsaber, but when necessary he has a decent mastery of the Force.
- Weaknesses: Vosh, even after 10 years of training, is still known to make brash and sometimes foolish decisions. He does not like to be underestimated and this has led to his taking on of tasks that stretch and often break his capacity of accomplishment.

GEAR:
- Lightsaber: Built with simplicity in mind, Vosh's lightsaber has an extended hilt because of his large hands.
- Jedi robes

PERSONALITY:
Relatively solitary and quiet, Vosh is not a socially driven person. He likes to talk and chat, but is rather shy and not one to initiate conversation. Vosh's solo attitude and bearing has not hurt him, though; he likes to reflect, and those friends that he does have he holds near as his brothers and confidants. The Togorian knows he has an intimidating size and manner, and he uses this to his advantage whenever applicable; his physical capacity is also reflected in his lightsaber combat. His master chose for him the physically driven Djem So, Way of the Krayt Dragon form. Vosh uses his strength to overwhelm and blindside his opponents.

BIOGRAPHY: Vosh was born on Togoria to an average Togorian family. His father was a natural bred warrior and mercenary, and they made a fairly decent living. Vosh lived with his parents for only a short time, to the age of two, before a Jedi passing through the system noticed the toddler's affinity for the Force. The young boy accompanied the Knight back to the Temple, where he took his place as a youngling.

Vosh grew quickly over the years, sprouting into a large child and later teen. His race was known to be massive, and Vosh was no exception. The Togorian was not very social growing up, but devoted his energies to perfection within his training. His few friends were his closet, and he still regards them as his confidants and brothers. By the time Vosh was ready to be taken as a padawan he was much larger than his instructors, standing at around 7'2".

After proving his worth within the dueling ring and being interviewed by numerous Masters Vosh was taken on as a padawan. He entered into training vigorously, taking on the powerful form of Djem So as his preferred method of lightsaber combat. As the Padawan advanced he developed a knack for 'aggressive negotiation,' and knows his future lies in that of being a Jedi Guardian of the Republic. As he passes in age Knighthood looms and Vosh prepares himself for the coming days, filled with the erratic lifestyle of a Jedi.

He could've been much bigger, Togorians range from 2.5 to 3 meters. :3 He's only 2.6.

In light of that, I suppose it's wrong that, rather than feeling intimidated by his potential physical size, I feel the overwhelming urge to use him as a giant furry pillow.

Indeed. :3 In light of that, I hereby call dibsies on Vosh!

By that I mean I'll train him with one of my younger Jedi -Samanya or Jamall Junior- if you'd like.

Sounds great to me. Sam's currently staying at the Coruscant temple. If you want, you can start a thread there now and I'll -try- to get off a reply here soon; my mind's a bit too toasted from Halo Reach to actually start a thread right this moment. [I'm sad that way. x_x]

I hate the person who decided there furry animal and star wars fetishes should collide and then made this race.

You have two lightsaber forms. You can't have that as a Padawan. Especially with one of them as mastered.

Incorrect. Shii-Cho is the basic lightsaber form that ALL Force Users (Lightsaber wielders) are taught. It is not counted as a Primary Lightsaber Form when counting the limited number of forms a character of certain rank is allowed. Bac confirmed this for me months ago in a PM, however I am unclear as to whether Padawans/Acolytes are allowed to have mastered the first form (Shii-Cho). I would assume that mastery of the form would be near the end of their training if not into Knighthood/Crusaderhood.

When training as a Padawan often Masters teach their apprentices two to three lightsaber forms; Shii-Cho is taught throughout their Younglinghood and Apprenticeship. At 22 I thought it would be fair to have it mastered; adept for Djem So is a moderate understanding, but he can't "solely" rely on it yet.

EDIT: I'll get that thread started soon, Jiang. :3

Zach does bring up a decent point, you probably wouldn't have mastered Shii-cho until the end of your training. On the flip side, your char would have been in the Jedi Order long enough to have become an expert in the form, so that's sort of up in the air there.

Anywho, ignoring that for a minute, don't forget to post in the sign-up threads before you post a training thread. I kind of forgot to mention that step when I suggested posting a thread. My bad, don't step on me plz. x_x

Threw Vosh up, pending approval now. I'll wait for a specifically Jedi oriented mod to point out my lightsaber error before changing it. In my eyes it is a very plausible feat.

There hasn't been a set age or length of time it takes to master a lightsaber form, so I don't really have anything to say on -mastering- an ability, but as far as being familiar with the form and being able to use it, Shii-Cho is a given and doesn't count towards the limited number of lightsaber forms you're allowed to know.

rawr admin note rawr:

Go ahead and tone Shii-cho down to 'Proficient'. Vosh'll have mastered it by the time he's a Knight. That is all. /debate
