The Republic-Hutt War

Ever since the election of a corrupt queen on Alderaan, tensions have mounted between the Republic and the Hutt Cartel. Those tensions escalated during a series of Cartel-inspired events on Brentaal and the public revelation of the Hutt involvement on Alderaan. With the Senate having decided to invade Alderaan to end the Hutt occupation there, war has officially come to the galaxy once again. But this war will not be an easy one. The Hutt Cartel is not like any other traditional government—crime has no capital and can be anywhere. Still, corruption cannot be tolerated, so the Republic cannot waver. The war for its soul has begun.

Republic Repeatable Missions

+1ASK:



    • Take out a gang disrupting Hutt operations, civilian or military
    • Go on a recruiting drive for new GAR soldiers
    • Protect a shipment of supplies to the front lines
    • Search for sabotage at key installations in Republic Space
    • Free Republic prisoners from Cartel clutches
+2OPEN/PvP:



    • You are sent to establish a small military base in the Mid Rim between Republic and Hutt Space, or in Hutt Space itself, within 72 hours, but shortly after you arrive on site something goes wrong...
    • Disrupt Cartel spice shipments
    • Attack a group of pirates wearing colors of a rival Cartel gang to instigate hostilities between the two.
    • Attack a warehouse in Hutt Space belonging to a Lorda filled with their merchandise or treasures
    • Destroy a deep-space communication tower on a Cartel planet
    • Destroy a clandestine refueling station for Cartel ships hidden on a moon or in an asteroid field
    • Discover and capture a Cartel Spy in Republic Space
    • Plant surveillance equipment in a Cartel base
    • Attack a Cartel stronghold
    • Destroy a large Spice lab in Cartel space
    • Attack or sabotage ships at a Cartel spaceport and destroy or delay as many ships as possible before escaping
    • Steal a ship transporting a Lorda's treasure or other precious cargo
    • Capture a Lorda or prominent Vigo
    • Recover stolen Coaxium or other smuggled goods or bounties, such as lightsabers
    • Raid a slave compound to free the slaves and kill the slavers


Hutt Cartel Repeatable Missions

+1ASK:



    • Firebomb a warehouse or business that is directly supporting the Republic's war effort
    • Recruit a gang on a Republic world to cause violent chaos
    • Smuggle a shipment of weapons or supplies to a gang in Republic space
    • Rig a protocol or astromech droid in Republic territory to self-destruct near security personnel or merchants
    • Ambush a Republic patrol
    • Free a Cartel agent from Republic detention
+2OPEN/PvP:



    • You are sent to establish a hidden supply depot in the Mid Rim between Republic and Hutt Space, or in the Republic itself, within 72 hours, but shortly after you arrive on site something goes wrong...
    • Disrupt Republic merchant shipping
    • Stealthily sabotage a weapons manufacturer's process so their weapon powerpacks have a chance of exploding when used
    • Attack a Republic military supply convoy and steal their shipment of military-grade supplies
    • Destroy a deep-space communication tower on a Republic planet
    • Destroy a power station on a Republic world
    • Discover and kill a Republic undercover agent in Cartel space
    • Plant false information to fool the Republic
    • Attack a Republic military outpost
    • Destroy a hyperwave transceiver in Republic space
    • Attack or sabotage ships at a Republic spaceport and destroy or delay as many ships as possible before escaping
    • Contaminate a vital bacta or kolto shipment destined for the Republic
    • Assassinate a Senator
    • Bomb a Republic military academy
    • Rig a coaxium shipment to overheat and explode when it reaches its destination in Republic space


If an OPEN/PvP thread is met with opposition from the opposing faction and the objective is completed, it will be rewarded with twice as many influence points (i.e.; +4 instead of +2). Threads must be completed for them to be eligible to receive influence points.

This doesn't appear to be over. Versok can still stop both the posts of yourself and Norbs so, until the battle is concluded officially, we can't consider this completed.
Have been completed for real now, 8 points if I've got it correctly, since we won the Pvp match and all that
