Okay, this was weird... really weird. Jey found himself in some kind of... actually he had no idea where he was, he was in the clouds or something. Was this a bad trip? No, this couldn't be it, he gave up Death sticks months ago. What the hell was actually going on? Then he heard it, a familiar voice, wait...voices. The black haired teen turned around to see what the hell this was all about, only his eyes widened in surprise when he saw what was behind him. However, the surprised expression turned into a sly grin.

Astra, Ines, Alana and Neri? What were they all doing here? And why were they only smiling at him? This seemed a little too convenient, all these women he had recently met were all in one place together? They were significant in his life for different reasons, Astra for helping him reconnect to the Force, Ines for bringing out a softer side in him, Alana for the day he decided to quit Death sticks for good, and Neri for their crazy adventure they had together, but they all had one thing in common - he was attracted to all of them. It all made sense now, this was some kind of happy place... but wait, if this was a happy place, what was so bad right now?

Jey's eyes shot open as he was coughing and gagging for air, a bucket of ice cold water being splashed into his face shocked him awake. Jey shook his head which caused his black hair to fall back and turned to scan the room around him - he was tied to a chair with whipcord and was in, what looked like a warehouse, surrounded by thuggish looking humans and aliens. "Ow! Kriff!" he called out, his body and face began to hurt all over "Feel like I've got a black eye." he thought to himself. Then he remembered... stupidly, he had gotten involved with some bad people again and he arrogantly thought he could hustle out some big criminals on Coruscant. Except luck, or the Force, wasn't on his side this time... he probably had it coming, all he remembered was being cornered in an alley way and getting beaten to a pulp... he managed to knock out, like two thugs before going down though.

"I'm not usually into this kind of stuff, but I really appreciate the thought. 'Least buy a guy a drink first." he joked as he struggled in his chair, a Trandoshan quickly closed the gap between him and Jey, and punched him square in the face, okay, he definitely had a black eye now. "You really think you can ssswindle us, Dresss?" the Trandoshan asked in a hostile tone of voice with his fist raised, ready to lay another hit on him. Jey averted his eyes and grinned slightly "I mean... obviously? Have you seen how stupid you look? Surprised no one else had tried it. My bad I guess." Jey retorted, although the Trandoshan growled in response, he wasn't impressed.

The Trandoshan backhanded Jey, "We want our credits back, Dresss. We want them now." that hit took a lot out of him as Jey took a few breaths to gather his bearings. "Well, the problem is that... I don't have it... anymore, per say. Already spent it on ship parts." he revealed through a toothy grin, although the hazel-eyed teen had no idea how he'd get out of this one, no one would be rescuing him this time and he was pretty sure these lovely thugs wouldn't just let him go freely. Jey's face turned hollow, he realised that if he died here today, he would have literally amounted to nothing and wouldn't have ever gotten answers from his father... maybe he should have took life more seriously.

Hm, white or black? It was a hard pick, but Alana felt that white would be the perfect match for Ines. Red hair, white hat, made sense; also Alana had the black hat, and she wanted to keep it that way. She had totally lied about the reason they had to come to Coruscant, though Astra was probably going to be able to pick up on that little tidbit. Alana had told Ines she would get her a matching hat, and by hook or by crook she was going to do just that. Turning around to Astra, Alana held the two choices to her sister, though her twin seemed a tad distracted and she wasn't sure why. "Okay, Ast, give it to me straight. You think Ines would look better with black or white?" She asked, and from what Alana had seen Ines looked good in just about anything. She felt white was a solid choice, but it was always better to have a second opinion, which is why she turned to her beloved sister in this troubled time.

Coruscant underworld was by far one of the least glamorous places in the galaxy, trumped only by Nar Shaddaa, though it had its gems. She had suspected that Alana lied about the true reason of their visit but decided that by accompanying her she could prevent her sister from getting into any trouble and couldn't complain about spending time with her sister, it was becoming a rarer occasion nowadays.

For the last few minutes, Astra had felt a little uneasy, something felt amiss but she couldn't put her finger on it. Deep in thought, Astra only realised that Alana had been talking to her when there was a gap in the conversation, as if waiting a response. She looked at the hats Alana held in her hand and tried to pretend she had listened. "Uhh... white." She replied with a smile before diverting her attention back to what could possibly be creating the sense of unease.

All of a sudden, she felt a pang of dread but it wasn't her own, it was from someone fearing for their life nearby. Without a second thought, Astra lept into action and ran down the street with the Force as her guide. There was nothing obviously amiss as far as she could see but she skidded to a halt outside of a building that looked like it had seen better days. There were certainly people inside but before jumping in head first, she took a moment to assess the situation.

After coming to the conclusion that at least one person in that room intended on killing another, she knew she had to act. She wrapped her hand around the concealed lightsaber hilt at her wrist before remembering what Kraud had been teaching her about a lightsaber being a last resort. No. She decided that there was too much at risk to rely on the Force. If Alana followed her, which she knew she would, then she would have to protect her sister as well.

Astra drew her lightsaber and held out her free hand to focus on opening the upwards sliding door to the warehouse and upon doing so was greeted with a handful of shocked faces but most notably in the centre of the room, the cause of all the drama, she didn't know what else she was expecting, the teen who never seemed to stay out of trouble. "Jey?" She said almost instinctively. "I'm going to start charging you for saving your choobies." She joked.

Jey's entire body moved as he was hit in the face with a blaster rifle, these guys must've been really pissed - upgrading from fists to weapons now. Jey coughed as he laughed, trying to get under the thugs' skins "Can you do more body shots please? My face is my bread and butter y'know?" he asked rhetorically while grinning through blooded teeth. The Force-sensitive teen's face was starting to get hot from all the blows he had been receiving up until now, all the thugs in the room had at least one turn beating on him.

"If you ain't gonna cough up the credits, kid..." a human male with one blue eye and a cybernetic red eye called out as he sharpened his vibroknife, "Guess we'll just have to torture you." he added, sounding completely unfazed by Jey's witty remarks and attempts to annoy them, in fact he was the only one who wasn't reacting to him - everyone else reacted in some way but not this guy, which unnerved the teen slightly. He really had to get out of here now, he had to think of something... anything.

Then he remembered; the Force. He had been practising more recently, the basics but it was still practice, while he had a long way to go before he reached the levels of someone like Astra, it was still a start. Jey scanned the room as he looked for something he could use to defend or free himself - then he saw it, his two blasters on a table nearby. Jey shut his eyes tight and inhaled deeply, opening himself up to the Force, allowing it to flow through him once more, he reached out to his blasters on the table and begun slowly and discreetly lifting it from the table as to not garner attention. He strained slightly as telekinesis was still difficult for him, as well as lifting more than one object.

Aiming one of the blasters at the man with the vibroknife and the other at the Trandoshan that punched him several times earlier, he was about to shoot when his concentration was cut off at the loud sound of the warehouse door sliding open. The blasters dropped back onto the table as a result but Jey noticed and felt a familiar presence - "Astra, hey!" he called out in excitement, "We have got to stop meeting like this!" he joked. Jey's gaze averted to someone behind her however, he couldn't really recognise her as his eyes were slightly hazy from having the snot beat out of him but he knew it was a woman. He wondered who it was... but that would be a questioned answered later. For now, Jey would relax and watch his Jedi friend beat the snot out of these nerf herders.

Alana frowned at her sister's response, Astra wasn't even paying attention to her. Did she even look at the hat? Probably not. Typical Ast. "Oh come on Sis, you didn't even look." Alana stated, frowning as turned to look at the rack of hats on display, maybe a lighter shade of white would do. Alana took up another hat, holding it up to it's cousin, trying to imagine what Ines would look like wearing either of them. The problem was that Ines just looked good in everything, but she wasn't sure which hat the woman might prefer more. White, or slightly darker white; though that was kinda contradictory wasn't it? Ugh, it was too hard of a choice to make. Thankfully she had a sister to help with this sort of thing. When Alana turned around however, she found her sister was gone, not an Astra to be found. Alana sighed, her gaze falling to the floor as she put the hats away, wondering where in the hell her sister had gotten off to.

Trotting out of the store, Alana didn't know where her beloved twin had gotten off to. She could 'feel' that Astra was close, but other than that...well it was a pure guessing game. "Are you fething kidding me...." Alana muttered, looking up and down the streets, not seeing a trace of her sister. Disappointment stung at Alana's heart, as her own sister had gone and run out on her. That was just another level of low. Her hand reached for the comlink at her side, thinking to maybe call her sister, ask if she was okay, but she stopped herself. If Astra wanted to include her, she would have said something. But why go off and run like that? It wasn't like her sister at all. The disappointment turned to worry, as Alana did the one thing she hated doing; she focused on the bond between herself and her sister, and she pushed for the connection.

A blur of images flashed in Alana's mind, as she could see and perceive everything that Astra had in the last few moments through the eyes of her sister, even feeling the same emotions that had stuck with her so strongly. It only lasted a few sparse moments, but it told Alana everything she needed to know; her sister was putting herself in danger, and she wasn't going to let her twin stick it out on her own. Knowing just where to go, Alana rushed up the street, her hand going for the blaster pistol she kept strapped to her hip. Despite what her sister thought, she wasn't some helpless nerf herder with issues, she was a bounty hunter who could take care of herself; even without the magic hand nonsense.

Astra hadn't meant to leave Alana behind, she hoped her sister would have enough sense to follow her, though that would depend on how quickly she realised Astra was gone. She had to act with a sense of urgency and could not wait for Alana to shift into gear, there were barely any thoughts between sensing the danger and reacting, it was an instinctive reaction. Alana caught on quickly and when Astra felt her sister's presence nearby she called out to her sister. "Do not shoot to kill." She said sternly.

It didn't seem like the thugs got the message though as a few of them immediately began shooting at Astra but she simply deflected the bolts with one hitting the shooter in the hand, causing him to drop his blaster and cradle his wounded hand and another hitting the shooter in the knee. "Anyone else?" She challenged the others to which one man backed down, holding his empty hands up to show that he was unarmed so she turned her attention to the other two who only advanced.

The blaster fire was relentless, Astra did all she could to avoid any stray bolts from hitting anyone unintended then when she felt confident that she was capable of defending one-handed for a moment she held out her free hand and used the Force to push one of the men into the back wall before pulling the blaster out of the grip of the other man who in return pulled out a vibroblade and swung it at Astra's face, causing her to duck to avoid it and take the opportunity to kick his legs from underneath him by swinging her leg out to knock him off balance, cutting upwards through his wrist as she did so.

She turned to smile at Jey as she got stood back up but suddenly felt an arm around her shoulders and heard the familiar hum of a vibroblade slightly beneath her head, the man who had claimed to be unarmed was not quite so unarmed. "Drop it." He demanded so Astra did as he said and deactivated the lightsaber, dropping the hilt on the ground slightly behind herself before giving Jey a look, urging him to understand as she looked down at the lightsaber hilt then back at him. If he could angle the lightsaber correctly and activate it then it would go through the man's feet.

Jey watched his saviours, grinning in awe at their skill. "Ha! You guys are about to be Bantha fodder now, told y'all I had powerful friends!" he called out in a now confident tone of voice maybe luck was still on his side after all, maybe it definitely wasn't his time to go - either way, the young teen knew that he'd really have to get his life in order after this near-death experience and focus more on finding his true purpose in life.

Astra was like a complete force of nature, her Jedi skills never ceased to impress him as she was like water - dodging, weaving and deflecting any blaster bolts that came her way. The other woman, the white haired one who he still couldn't quite see due to his hazy vision, she was pretty wizard as well, she knew how to handle a blaster - probably better than he did. But still, even her style of combat looked familiar too, had he met her before? And more importantly, why was she with Astra? Were they... together? Like, together together? He'd have to ask later.

However, Jey's eyes widened when he noticed Astra stopped in her tracks by a man that had surprised her by holding a vibroknife to her throat - so much for those Jedi reflexes. Jokes aside, this was serious and Jey didn't want her to be in any danger because of him. The hazel-eyed teen watched intently as she was forced to drop her lightsaber, then his eyes travelled to the blonde Jedi's face as she gave him a look. It took a moment, as Jey's face contorted into confusion, but eventually he figured out what she was conveying and he let out a bloodied toothy grin in response.

The teen closed his eyes again and began concentrating intensely, focusing on his connection to the Force and reaching out to Astra's lightsaber on the floor. With the Force, he rotated it slowly and aimed the lightsaber's emitter at both of the man's feet before igniting it with the Force and sending the bright emerald blade through the man's feet, severing them completely. The man let out an ear splitting howl as he dropped his vibroknife and fell to the floor. "That's what you get, sleemo!" he called out in satisfaction, now Jey had played his part, he hoped it would help Astra take out the rest of his captors.

Alana felt that distant scream heading towards her and gritted her teeth, recognizing it as Astra a split second before it struck her. "Do not shoot to kill." "Yea, yea I know." Alana sent a message back, annoyed that Astra felt like that needed to be said. Alana wasn't no killer. That much was certain, but there was a certain levity she took with much punishment someone should take; nothing cruel, but if some thug ended up getting shot in the groin would the galaxy really miss it that much? Hearing blaster fire go off, Alana double timed it, breaking the door, her connection with Astra keeping her informed on the layout of the room, as once she entered she knew where all of her targets were. "Yee Claw!" Alana hollered, as she came into the room, blaster pistol trained on several of the men firing at Astra. Alana ran in behind her sister, slide off to the girls side into cover behind a crate, and began to go to town; several shots to the knees and shoulders all at break neck speed; she had the fastest draw on Dantooine after all. Sending those men toppling to the ground, Alana nearly pulled the trigger when a man pulled a vibroknife on her sister.

She held off on doing the deed when she saw how calm her sister was, as well as sensing she was hinting at some greater ruse. When the saber went off and severed the man's legs, Alana scowled, looking to the man across from her who she recognized as Jey. "Jey? What in tarnation are you doing here?" Alana asked, raising as she kept the blaster pistol out, tipping her hat towards the man, then glancing to her sister. "Ast, you doing okay over there? Hope you ain't getting sloppy." She grinned, but something at the back of her mind was warning her that they weren't safe. "Think it best if we two step it on outta here partner. All for having a good time, but with fellers like these, they are always more." Alana would move towards the door they had come from, stowing the pistol as she was ready to get the heck outta here before the gang suddenly got more back up.

Once the man's grip had loosened around her, she smiled at Jey before scooping up the lightsaber from the floor and deactivating it before reattaching it to her belt. Although she didn't approve of Jey's taunts, she said nothing, it was not the time or place. The room was a lot calmer now but something told her this wouldn't be the end of it if they didn't leave and Alana only confirmed her suspicions.

After hearing Alana call Jey by his name, she looked between the pair, surprised. "You know each other?" She asked the pair, wondering how they could possibly know each other. She recalled Jey mentioning that he used to be addicted to death sticks and she knew about her sister's plight, so she could only imagine that they met because of that. Soon he would come to the awful realisation of the situation.

"Yeah, I'm fine." She waved off Alana, undisturbed by what had just happened. At the mention of others, Astra simply nodded and ran over to Jey to unbind him from the whipcord. She looked down at him sadly, he seemed pretty badly hurt but okay to walk, if they had time she would've attempted a Force heal but for now he would have to deal with it. Once the trio were on the move, Astra confirmed with Jey the one piece of information he needed to piece the situation together since they all apparently knew each other. "Jey, this is my sister." She told him.

"Waitaminute...Alana?" he called out in complete and utter shock, how much crazier could this day get. Astra and Alana were here? Together? Were they, together together? Obviously, Jey didn't mind - love who you love right? But the thought never even occurred to him that Astra may have swung that way, well, he knew Alana did but definitely not Astra. "I met these guys at a club, we really hit it off ." Jey responded to the white haired bounty hunter.

Jey looked to Astra and smiled awkwardly, responding the same as well "Uhhh... yeah, we know each other." trying to leave out as much information as possible regarding his and Alana's time on Ryloth together. He struggled in his chair again, trying to avert the conversation - it was awkward enough being in the same room as them. After the blonde Jedi had untied him from his binds, he stood up and stretched, body aching all over and followed the two women out of the warehouse.

The boy's head was spinning and the Coruscant lights weren't helping the concussion that he most likely had. Jey held his forehead as Astra finally revealed that Alana wasn't her girlfriend but, was in fact, her sister. It all made sense now, Alana was the twin sister that Astra mentioned back on Nar Shaddaa and vice versa - wow, small galaxy. What were the odds that he met two sisters in such a short amount of time in this huge, expansive galaxy. "The Force works in mysterious ways..." he thought as he followed the twins to wherever it was they were going.

Things were really awkward for Jey now and the silence between the three of them wasn't helping. Instead he decided to try and make small talk as he turned his swollen eyes to Alana "What're you guys doing here anyway?" he queried with a concerned facial expression.

Alana only shook her head as Jey explained his situation. Poor guy just couldn't catch a break. "And I thought I was the one with bad luck." Alana muttered, crossing her arms and tilting her head to the side as her sister assisted Jey in getting back to his feet. Alana threw a glance over towards her sister, grinning. "Yea, Jey helped me out of a spot back on Ryloth a while back. Hadn't seen him in a while." Alana left out the whole 'drug deal gone wrong' bit, Astra didn't need to know everything that went down, Alana had told her more than she needed to know already.

Moving Jey out of the warehouse and towards somewhere more secure, Alana took the lead as she felt she'd be more useful that way. "Well Jey, my lovely sister here was supposed to help me find a nice hat for a friend of mine, but I guess she sensed you were in danger." Alana glanced back to Jey and threw the man a wink. "So, now here we are." Alana only hoped this wasn't the Red Face gang. They were still fething mad about the last time she had shown up and made off with Neri in tow. Yea, that'd most certainly end up going bad. "We should try and get on outta here. This whole level might be swarming with low lives if word gets out." Astra would sense a rising bit of concern from her twin, as it seemed Alana recalled something that might have worsened their situation, and if she pulled at the force bond, she would glimpse brief snippets of Alana's last run in with the Red Faces. "Let's just say last time I was on Coruscant, I didn't exactly make alot of friends." The white haired woman muttered, as she waved her sister and her....boyfriend(?) down a side alley. "Come on, we can duck out here til Jey feels better, than make a run for the upper levels." Least, that's what Alana's instinct was telling her to do. The feeling in her gut and heart was only worsening, as she could feel something bad was about to hit.

Astra was unamused, she had led herself to believe that Jey was better than this, that he was learning from his mistakes and growing emotionally but it seemed not from the way he seemed to charge into danger and there was no excuse for it. Still, she wasn't about to be in pain just to learn a lesson. "Come here." She told Jey with a sigh as she stopped and gently placed her hands either side of his face to inspect his injuries. "I can try a Force heal later? When we're somewhere safer." She offered.

"Really? I can't seem to get him out of my hair." She told Alana, trying to lighten up and not dwell too much on what had already happened. For a moment, Astra was alarmed after remembering what she had told Jey about Alana's addiction but the worry was soon gone as she believed Jey would have enough discretion to know not to bring up such a topic without being warned, she believed him to be at least that sensible.

"Yeah, we should leave and quickly. Who knows who else Jey has angered." She said in an attempt at a jab, still irritated by Jey's irresponsibility although she had tried to hide it before. Astra could sense a change in her sister, she could feel Alana's emotions as clearly as her own, she wasn't certain but she had a strong reason to believe that she had a Force bond with her twin, it was like everything she could sense about a person was amplified when it was from Alana.

Astra instructed Jey to approach her - he could hear the disapproval in her voice and as he slouched his shoulders, he walked toward her. The gentle touch of her hands placed on his bruised face calmed him slightly, as Jey closed his eyes and sighed slightly he felt his heart beat begin to increase slightly... although, he didn't know why... hopefully it wasn't fatal. "Force heal? Is there anything the Force can't do?" Jey wondered with a raised brow." there was a lot he still needed to learn apparently.

The black haired teen rolled his eyes "Whatever, pateesa. Your life would be boring without me keeping you on your toes." he retorted back. Although, he decided to ignore Astra's more serious jab at him, she was right after all - all he did was smile awkwardly at her. With that, Jey proceeded to allow the Calloway twins away from the warehouse and out of danger.

***

Jey chuckled at Alana's response - picturing the two doing something as mundane as looking for new hats was... sweet in a way, he had only really seen the two during life or death situations. Shortly after, Alana directed them into a side alley so he could rest. As Jey leaned against the alley wall, he felt guilty that he had practically ruined their day together by having them involved in his usual stupid shenanigans - and he felt even more like a burden that he was putting these two at risk, even though he knew the two were more than capable of defending themselves.

The Force-sensitive teen gritted his teeth and propelled his self off the wall and began making his way to leave the alley. "I'm good guys, thanks. Let's just get outta here." he lied, his body was hurting all over but he couldn't let himself be anymore of a burden than he already was.
