Joining Aliit Bralor? That's great. But there are some questions you need to ask yourself when you apply to us. Things you need to consider and uphold. The aim of Clan Bralor is to be traditionally minded, solid, reliable. The details are in the other stickies on this Clan's sub forum. But here are some questions to ask yourself, and reply to in this thread.

Consider it an application form. You can either PM your answers to Kiro, message her on Skype or MSN, or post your reply here, the option that is preferred.

Following this, a short IC meeting thread will be arranged between the current Aliit'alor of Clan Bralor and your character.

Q): What do you, the player, think of the Mandalorians overall?

Q): What do you, the player, know of Mandalorian culture in general?

Q): What does your character know of Clan Bralor and what is his/her/it's opinion of the Clan?

Q): What could your character offer Clan Bralor? This covers combat and non-combat based skills, e.g. metalsmithing and marksmanship

Q): Why did you, the player, choose Clan Bralor?

Q): What do you, the player, think of the Mandalorians overall?
An interesting culture, made more so by the fact that their based off the ancient Celts, who I've been rather obsessed with for years now.

Q): What do you, the player, know of Mandalorian culture in general?
Quite a bit. I've read most of the Star Wars books written thus far, and tend to browse Wookieepedia in my spare time (yes, I do realize how incredibly sad that is).

Q): What does your character know of Clan Bralor and what is his/her/it's opinion of the Clan?
He was born a Bralor, so he knows about everything there is to know, and is very proud of the Clan.

Q): What could your character offer Clan Bralor? This covers combat and non-combat based skills, e.g. metalsmithing and marksmanship
Ram is an excellent marksman, swordsman, survivalist, and scout. He has quite a bit of farming experience as well.

Q): Why did you, the player, choose Clan Bralor?
Warrior-Artisans? Is there anything classier than that?

Q): What do you, the player, think of the Mandalorians overall?

I've always been more interested with those groups who follow traditional tribal organization, rather than the more "civilized" order or army structure. The Mandolarians take this to a simply fascinating extreme with the Sparta-esque warrior ethos they embody. Like the knights of Europe, or the samurai of Japan, the Mandalorian insistence on not just practicing, but perfecting both warfare and themselves, lends them an enviable nobility I find just too cool to pass up on partaking in. Plus I've always been a sucker for the noble honour-bound warriors, which the Mandalorians seems to epitomize. I think the thing I am most interested in is the Mandalorian culture itself.

Q): What do you, the player, know of Mandalorian culture in general?

Sadly, not as much as I would like. Before creating my character and submitting this request I did do some quick research, so I am familiar with the clan structure and warrior-mentality of the Mandalorians. I am also at least somewhat familiar with their history, including such famous figures as Boba Fett and Canderous Ordo, and I am aware of the role of the Mandalore figure. I have, however, styled my character to be somewhat ignorant of what Mandalorians can be like, to better reflect my own incomplete knowledge.

Q): What does your character know of Clan Bralor and what is his/her/it's opinion of the Clan?

Truthfully, Chiron does not know much of Mandalorian clan distinctions, and he has had little education in the history and specifics of Clan Bralor. That said, the multi-racial nature of the clan, coupled with its appreciation of its own past, makes the clan an ideal perspective for Chiron's ambitions. The fact that Clan Bralor is attempting (successfully) to reintegrate aspects of its crusader past with its role in the modern galaxy is an appealing notion to Chiron, whose upbringing has left him with a favourable disposition toward such glorification of the battles and warriors of yore.

Q): What could your character offer Clan Bralor? This covers combat and non-combat based skills, e.g. metalsmithing and marksmanship

In addition to his extreme capability in combat, Chiron shares a deep passion to be the best warrior, amongst the best warriors. His idealization and worship of the great warriors of the past merges well with Clan Bralor's own emphasis on the achievements of its ancestors, and Chiron will bring an infusion of enthusiasm to the clan.

Q): Why did you, the player, choose Clan Bralor?

Partially due to the clan's fascination with its past jiving so well with Chiron's own history, but also partially due to the comparatively smaller size of the clan. This will allow Chiron more opportunity to become a major figure in the clan, and in the intergalactic scene. Finally, the nature of the clan's warrior-artisan membership reminds me of many of the aspects of such social groups as the samurai which I find favourable.

This looks good, and I'd add you to the Clan rosters, but you have to apply to join the Mandalorian faction as a whole in the first place. The recruitment thread is in the Mandalorian OOC discussion.

Edit: Since you've been accepted... Welcome to the Clan, vod!

Q): What do you, the player, think of the Mandalorians overall?
The Mandalorians are one of the most interesting factions throughout Star Wars canon, and are by far my favorite faction in this timeline.

Q): What do you, the player, know of Mandalorian culture in general?
Emphasis on war, armor, and clan.

Q): What does your character know of Clan Bralor and what is his/her/it's opinion of the Clan?
Clan Bralor helped construct the home for Clan Skirata back in the days of Kal Skirata, Marcus isn't ignorant of that. He also isn't ignorant of the fact that Clan Bralor stayed neutral during the civil war, same as himself. Marcus likes Clan Bralor because of these things.

Q): What could your character offer Clan Bralor? This covers combat and non-combat based skills, e.g. metalsmithing and marksmanship
Diplomacy, sneaking, scouting.

Q): Why did you, the player, choose Clan Bralor?
Honestly, a lot of it has to do with the leadership. Silverface the talks we were having before I dropped off the face of the planet really earned my confidence in you as a leader. As well as Ordo and Fett both being fairly large clans, here Marcus could find himself easier.

Q): What do you, the player, think of the Mandalorians overall?
The Mandalorians have long been one of my favorite factions in Star Wars, and I think that if the players can stay in the Mandalorian mindset, they are one of the most noble and loyal factions out there.

Q): What do you, the player, know of Mandalorian culture in general?
I have a long history of study in Mandalorian culture, so I can claim knowledge in pretty much all aspects.

Q): What does your character know of Clan Bralor and what is his/her/it's opinion of the Clan?
Sisk's family has been part of Clan Bralor for over 1000 years, and one of their most proud warrior traditions. Unfortunately, The Renelos were lost to the clan 50 years previously, during a mercenary assault on one of their strongholds. Due to this, Sisk's father's knowledge of the clan was spotty, and so Sisk has large gaps of knowledge concerning his ancestral clan.

Q): What could your character offer Clan Bralor? This covers combat and non-combat based skills, e.g. metalsmithing and marksmanship
Sisk is an unparalleled warrior, unbeaten in combat. A strong leader, he has years of experience leading forces into combat. His natural skills along with his Jedi training make him an excellent tracker and warrior. Don't go to him if you want a peaceful resolution, but he is your go-to guy for combat.

Q): Why did you, the player, choose Clan Bralor?
I read through a lot of posts before I made my Mando, and Bralor seemed to be a good fit for my character. Honorable, noble, and with a storied warrior tradition.

Both approved and welcomed into the clan. I'll add you two to the roster shortly. Feel free to post in the Clan Halls while I get back into the swing of things and get a ton of clan activities rolling.

Q): What do you, the player, think of the Mandalorians overall?
I've always thought that why I like Mandalrians so much, because they are great warriors and are legend in battle coming from my point of view I find that extremely awesome, their Spartan like culture and the honor code gives them a double cool kind of effect on me but what I like about them most is that they are completely human and aren't well... given the gifts of the Jedi and Sith or the wealth of the Chiss, there normal people who strived to be great warriors so they could protect what mattered most and the fact they can die, they aren't seemingly immortal like the Jedi or Sith(since it seems that Jedi and Sith can enter cloned body’s and such) and they have had their suffering, it makes them all the more interesting.

Q): What do you, the player, know of Mandalorian culture in general?

I know as a player and a tried and true fan a lot about the culture of Mandalore and know all of the Main Mandalorian codes of conduct, also a know quite a bit of information about Mandalorian, though I'm not an expert at their history I am working a becoming one on the subject.

Q): What does your character know of Clan Bralor and what is his/her/it's opinion of the Clan?

John Kyriss knows a bit about the Clan and its exploits and its victory’s and failures, he has the understanding of what the clan stands for and supports most of the same values as the clan does, he believes that trust and honor is a must for any clan he joins meaning he can count on his brothers and sisters of the clan no matter what, also the Kyriss clan has supported the clan in the past and believes the clan is working toward the greater good for Mandalore

Q): What could your character offer Clan Bralor? This covers combat and non-combat based skills, e.g. metalsmithing and marksmanship

he also is very adaptable to the situation allowing him to learn and pick up traits very quickly and easily (i.e he can work with a weapon he hasn't used before and get the hang of it quickly, or get used to a different environment faster than others) He is very calm in situations that would send even the best warriors into panic, he is also a very good leader and spend lives carefully, he also is very talented in strategy and hand to hand combat, has good ability’s for space battles and is a very talented armor and weapons tectnition and a metal worker if necessary

Q): Why did you, the player, choose Clan Bralor?

I like how Bralor as a clan is very involved in many of the events on this site and yet is not a huge clan like the other and I think it gives people a bit more room to fit in with all the other mandos in the clan, it also seems like a very good group of people involved

Q): What do you, the player, think of the Mandalorians overall?
I have always been envious of a more tribal culture. I really like the idea of small knit groups taking care of each other. I feel like my culture doesn’t have this, sometimes even within family.

Q): What do you, the player, know of Mandalorian culture in general?
Limited to what I have read on wookieepedia and learned in video games such as SWTOR and KOTOR

Q): What does your character know of Clan Bralor and what is his/her/it's opinion of the Clan?
My father was a member of Aliit Bralor. He spoke little of it during my childhood. I only know that Bralor is more close knit than some of the larger clans and that Bralor sticks to the old ways of the mandolorians. Honor through challenge and conflict. I am jealous of the life that its clan members live. To be a part of a society that has the same driving principles as yourself is a rare thing.

Q): What could your character offer Clan Bralor? This covers combat and non-combat based skills, e.g. metalsmithing and marksmanship
I am skilled with Assault rifles and pistols, especially talented with my dual mandolorian rippers. As well as close quarters combat with vibro knives. Also adept at weapon smithing.

Q): Why did you, the player, choose Clan Bralor?
I choose Bralor because they describe themselves as sticking to the old mandolorian ways, which I know and understand better than the present day mandolorians. I like that its smaller than the other clans as I would like to develop my skills as an RPer, hopefully getting support and advice from the people around me.
