Xohhar's Infiltrator Armor

An infiltrator often finds himself in strange circumstances and inhospitable environments - whether that be sneaking through a foul sewer beneath the city streets, crossing a toxin-filled swamp to access a communications tower, or even traversing the exterior of a space station or holonet relay. Xohhar's armor is designed to deal with those variables, allowing the Falleen to focus on his objectives. His vitals are protected by a rancor leather vest with layered plates of armorplast beneath the rich material and, to ensure that the armor remains airtight while dealing with the vacuum of space or environmental hazards, the jumpsuit beneath the armored vest has a layer of armorweave woven through the material to prevent high speed debris or scrapes and cuts from causing dangerous depressurization or to allow environmental hazards through.

While the armor is designed to not appear too ostentatious or eye-catching, Xohhar often pairs it with a long hooded coat - allowing the Falleen to cover his gear and weaponry and blend into a crowd, moving through the area without drawing attention to himself. The coat itself is nothing special, though it is of fine make and material, with numerous pockets that Xohhar typically uses to hold his EZPhone as well as a few power packs for his blaster and other pieces of miscellaneous gear. Both the vest and the jacket have a backplate for Oracle, Xohhar's ID-21 Seeker Droid, to mount itself too.

Functions

Function 1: Rebreather
  • Rebreathers allow for a person to survive underwater or in space for brief amounts of time by scrubbing CO2 from their exhaled breath. Generally this lasts for 3-4 posts, but heavy exertion can shorten that time.
  • Force User Compatible?: Yes
Function 2: Filter (Attachment to helmet, removeable)
  • Filters are attachments to a helmet, or function as part of a mask, or is the mask itself, that filter out environmental contaminants such as smoke or most toxins. They are susceptible to caustic substances and damage.
  • Force User Compatible?: Yes
Function 3: Environment Suit (Req. Helmet for seal)
  • While it is not rated for extended exposure to extreme hazards, this body suit (when combined with an enclosed helmet) can protect the wearers body from the effects of environmental and weaponized toxins and similar hazards for up to 5 posting rounds.
  • Force User Compatible?: Yes
Function 4: Emergency Vac-Suit (Req. Helmet for seal)
  • It's no replacement for a spacesuit if you intend to EVA, but this undersuit, if combined with a helmet, can protect the wearer from the immediate effects of exposure to a vacuum for 5 posting rounds. You still need a way to breathe, however.
  • Force User Compatible?: Yes

Function 5: Armorweave Underlay (Throughout)
  • Armor weave provides some protection against the penetrating effects of shrapnel from explosives and other unpowered high velocity impacts, with only a small amount of bleed through damage (bruising or very minor wounds). It offers no protection against kinetic impact or energy, vibroweapons, or similar "powered" weapons.
  • Force User Compatible?: Yes
