A Mission Pack for both GAR Special Forces and Senators.

[ASK] The Night Path
Participants: 2-3 GAR Special Forces (@Cainhurst Crow @Artorias Ull @TheWonderousBat)
Briefing: As a planet on the borders of Republic space, Umbara has long juggled with the question of whether or not it should finally petition to become a full member of the galaxy's largest power. Advocates on both sides have wrestled with this question for years. Given the Umbaran's... ambitious culture it is no surprise that their politics are so often fought with more than mere harsh language.
Several hours ago, a shuttle carrying several Republic diplomats and their Umbaran peers reported mechanical failures before it crash landed somewhere in one the planet's most dangerous, unsettled regions. The shuttle is no longer transmitting a distress signal and local authorities are proving reluctant to act. Considering the danger posed by local life, survivors of the crash will not have long, particularly if the reason for their crash was foul play. Although dropships can get a team close to the crash site, foliage is too thick to allow anything but a search from the ground.
Primary Objective: Locate and extract survivors of the crash.
Secondary Objective: Investigate the reason for the crash.

Participants: 2-3 GAR Special Forces
Briefing: The Abolutes are the aptly titled secret police force of Apsolon's ruling caste, the Civilised. Although Apsolon styles itself as a democracy, any opposition to the Civilised is quickly and brutally snuffed out by their enforcers. Advocates for the common castes, critics of the regime and other potential figureheads have been imprisoned and will inevitably be executed upon the outbreak of violence.
With information, schematics and names provided by the Workers caste, Special Forces must infiltrate one of Apsolon's most high-security prisons and exfiltrate with a number of important political prisoners.
Primary Objective: Locate and extract VIP prisoners.
Secondary Objective: Extract or otherwise assist other prisoners.
Secondary Objective: Extract any useful intelligence from the prison.

Participants: 2-3 Senators
Briefing: There once was an advocate for the Republic on Umbara, a great supporter of our cause. In the past few weeks she has gone silent and communication with our allies have stated her whereabouts are unknown. We fear that, at worst, there could be foul play from an opposing party. Go to Umbara and meet with ourallies and try to find out who or what was behind this disappearance.
Objective #1: Find Karge Edasha's whereabouts.
Objective #2: Discover the cause of her disappearance.
Risk: Moderate - Potential foul play involved so be wary. The wild life of Umbara can be dangerous, as well as the natives.

[ASK] Devilish Dealings
Participants: 2-3 Senators
Briefing: Whilst Umbara is a long a trade route that goes to and from Republic controlled space, Apsolon is not. For this reason it is important that we gather trading captains and merchants to frequent this path that would otherwise try to avoid leaving Republic space. Pirates and other nefarious individuals increase in activity exponentially outside of Republic space, so it may take some convincing. If you convince severak of them then others will likely follow suit, especially if given time with profit following.
It is for this reason that we have resorted to dealing with smugglers in this area. A smuggler captain leads an unofficial guild of like-minded individuals. Meet with him and make a deal so that he continues to provide lucrative trade, but does so in a more legitimate manner. It won't be easy convincing a criminal to become a law abiding citizen but others may mimic his behaviour, lowering crime as well as providing economic positivity this area.
Objective #1: Convince the smuggling captain Slev Galnner to trade legitimately in Republic space via Apsolon trade routes.
Objective #2: Don't break the law in any deals made.
Risk: Low - Completely diplomatic. Worst case scenario is likely harsh words (unless you attack him, so don't do that).
