Mission Pack Phoenix Recovered

Byron Ryker, a student of history and ever-moving Jedi Knight, has looked into the reconditioning of the old Phoenix Squadron or Phoenix Cell. Originally earning a reputation thwarting the Galactic Empire in the Lothal sector, Knight Ryker has tracked down some of their old assets. Fighting against a larger enemy at the edge of space they fought and aided the Rebel Alliance in being some of the first freedom fighters after the Clone Wars.

With the successful recovery of the Phoenix Squadron assets, the Jedi Order will have additional fleet vessels and other gained wisdom along the way. The mysteries surrounding Lothal space has pulled the Knight ever closer lately. Uncover the truth that lies below the surface and steel yourself against the darkness. Join your fellow Jedi in discovering the history of famous ships and places relating to the famed Phoenix Cell.




MISSION ONE - ASTRAL LIBERATION - SELF DM - LINK - STARTED
A CR90 is a bit older than more preferable and well armed modern model. That's alright though because Byron Ryker and the facilities at Yavin VI are enough to retrofit two later into a vanguard and an overwatch refit.

One's reactor is showing as weak based on scans and that's for a good reason. Both ships will be limping unless you manage to fix with a provided squad of technician or repair droids. Inside either ship you won't find any life signs. That's because the automated droid guards were disabled. The rest of each ship is over run with the undead of the past crews. Activating the droids will have them begin to fight the undead but they have also been programed to fight off all intruders. That includes us. So taking both ships in the darkness of space will be a bit of a tricky but not impossible. If possible, find out what happened onboard the Liberator and what led to the outbreak.

MISSION TWO - LOATH-FALL - SELF DM - SELF DM - LINK - NOT STARTED
An old Imperial factory is all but an eyesore these days. Once used by the galactic empire to manufacture weapons of war, we have made a deal with the local governor to clear it out fix it up as a dry dock. The opening of the dry docks will add numerous jobs to the local population. Changing this from a manufacturing facility to a maintenance and repair station will have its benefits. In fact it will be here that we can make the adjustments to our recovered Phoenix Squadron hardware.

Bloatflies have been reported as nesting there and need to be cleared first. But the real danger is a group of scavengers with old pulse wave weapons that have taken up residence in the dilapidated factory. Remember, we are trying to use this place and aid the locals. We aren't here to evict the needy or commence demolitions operations.

MISSION THREE - TAKES 2 TO TANGO - DICE ROLLS - LINK - STARTED
The Liberator was one survivor of Atollon but so too were the two hammerhead corvettes, P1 and P3. Both have a long history of their own. While each ship is worth recovering. The symbol of having not only one of the original Phoenix Cell capital ships but three would be an incredible feat. These two ships frequent the starports of the Lothal Sector but have been spotted around Jalath on Lothal.

The twin ships as well as the town, have been taken over by a band of corporate thugs. The mining guild uses the two hammerheads to guard their transports to and from the outer rim world. You can take the ships yourselves and book it if you can get to the bridge without being seen. Hammerheads only take a crew of one and are surprisingly capable of being ran a small crew. But there are plenty of these corpos that like being the big fish in the outer rim. Use caution, however you choose to approach this.

MISSION FOUR - A DIFFERENT KIND OF CHOPPER - DICE ROLLS - LINK - STARTED
It's no wonder we did not know about a secret base. That's the whole point. But after recovering the data logs from the old ships, we managed to find a well hidden location to use as an additional waystation for the Jedi Order. Abandoned long ago, a group of smugglers have nested here lately. The dangerous spiders make approaching from a distance on anything but a speeder bike ill advised. The only reason we found this base is through old school tracking beacon attached to one of the light freighters in the ring. Very little is known about this location and what might be waiting for you. Take only what you are prepared to lose.

MISSION FIVE - THE STAR BURST BYPASS - SELF DM or DICE ROLLS - LINK - NOT STARTED
Commander Sato commanded the ship Phoenix Home during the Battle of Atollon. The pelta class frigate was destroyed with Commander Sato's sacrifice and the ship design is a rare sight still to this day. However, a pirate hold out has a parked ship. Sneak onboard and take the ship from the pirates as it traverses the Archeon Nebula by way of the pass of the same name. This is a job for Jedi Shadows perhaps and is extremely dangerous. Using force to subdue numerous crew members while remaining covert is expected. Disabling offensive weapons systems may be a good idea and then taking control of the ship before or after navigating the Archeon Pass to have it be met by other Order forces to help with a controlled boarding action.
