I don't know wth you people are getting that KotOR 2 has a worse story. The original game, when I finally got to play it, felt more stinted and the story flowed less. KotOR 2 showed a darker story, more focus on realism, and the combat no longer stood greatly in the way if you had a problem. With content restored, it's a brilliant rpg.
KotOR 1 was better off when they took several parts from it when making Mass Effect. I'd put KotOR 2 and Mass Effect together in the same category, and put ME2 ontop of them.
Call me crazy all you bloody well want, the sequel was better. If I had my way, only about 2 other characters from KotOR should have popped up along with Mandalore, T4-M3, and HK-47. :bitchez
Call me crazy too, but I loved KOTOR II best also. Mostly because I love having to play with the workbench and having to customize my weapons and armor; especially my lightsabers which happens to be my vary favorite thing in Star Wars. I also like it because of certain characters in it that I very much liked; Atton Rand is my favorite character in the game. I like doing the pazaak game a lot; granted it maybe boring to some people, but for me I love card games.
I don't like doing the pazaak game in the first KOTOR, because it was a big laggish, so I play it in the second game instead; plus you get the cool gold cards in the sequel. :P
