ESSLA TA'DEK BIO
When Essla was a child, her parents were killed by a squad of New Empire stormtroopers. She was arrested but managed to escape the prison with four other inmates. One of the men, an elderly human male named Darrke, took Essla under his wing and opened a small scrapyard. One day, Essla found a severely damaged ARC-170 starfighter. It became her pet project, and it ended up saving her life when New Empire stormtroopers arrived to arrest Darrke. She took off in the barely functioning fighter, managed to take out the stormtroopers, and then landed. Darrke had been mortally wounded by a blaster bolt, and died soon after. The teenaged Essla buried him in a small plot of land next to the junkyard, then stole one of the Stormtrooper's blasters for her own. Once her ship was ready, she left the planet and headed towards the Inner Rim. Over time, she became an enemy of the Empire, jumping lone convoys and security posts to wreak havoc before leaving as fast as she had arrived.
