Galania's purpose in leaving New Alderaan and joining the Jedi Order was to find her sister Kori. At least that's what she used to say to herself. The real truth was that Lani wanted to find her place in the galaxy. Alas, the galaxy turned out to be a rather ugly place. Being a Jedi seemed like a hopeless endeavor, with the deck stacked against you. Instead of trying to turn the unturnable tide, Lani opted to quit the Jedi. And although her own efforts weren't enough to locate Kori, Galania found something else—a few true friends (and in some cases more than friends) to help her on her journey.
