Not planning to claim any non effects, a thin piece of synthetic leather couldn't possibly stop a blade of any sort. Not pointing fingers, merely making a statement.

My interpretation of the armor has always been a half mask, not a full helmet. Either way, it's impossible to tell with the hood on. Secondly, the armor is mostly leather bits and cloth. As per my description, entirely decorative asside from where the actual armor plates are sewn into it...

My character who did that's armor functions were destroyed immediately with the discovery. Is there some way we can work around this in this case?

In the past TL i had done the same (through a plot) with my character Vincent Cross.

I was told by @Nefieslab that since personal plots had changed the discovery of a force sensitivity could simply be rp'd now.
