Nathan. People constantly shorten it to just "Nate," which drives me insane, but sometimes it gets to the point where I just stop correcting them. You can generally tell whether I'm close to someone or not based on whether they shorten my name or not.

Dark Forces 2 has generally worked for me with Steam. What seems to be the problem with running your copy?

I'll see if I still have my old joystick somewhere. It worked with Rogue Squadron and X-wing Alliance, so I'll definitely have to dig it up.

Getting as many of these as I can. Also, while it's not a Star Wars game, Grim Fandango is getting a re-release, too. One question, though: do you need a joystick for Rogue Squadron and the Flight Sims, or can you manage with a mouse and keyboard?

I didn't play many games this year, but Smash Bros. and Kingdom Hearts 2.5 are two good ones. However, my personal Game of the Year would have to be Valiant Hearts. I am unashamed to admit that I cried at the very end.

Honestly, the cross-guard looks stupid, but to me it's practical. In real life, longsword techniques have you sliding the blade down your opponent's sword to attack, so you need a cross-guard to pull off the technique properly. If the cross-guard there has light coming out of it to block a...
