Xiann watched as the lightsaber practically bounced around the air, these guys really were mad. She gathered herself and thoughts as she pieced together the information thus far, “So your sister…” gesturing at the Zeltron, “was your teacher…” Gesturing to theTogruta, “and those light swords belonged to her. Ok, that makes sense.” Her train of thought continued to barrel down this track near uncontrollably, “So you both want to claim them for yourselves. So which claim stands, the sister or the student?”

This is where the train in her head was dangerously close to de-railing, “But I was lead to believe that a Jedi’s weapon was their life. To lose it, is to lose yourself, or something like that. But that raises the question of how you got them.” She gestured to the Togruta again, “If she gave you the swords, she was going into a situation unarmed and basically going in expecting to not come back. In which case, why didn’t you stop her?” The Twi’lek stopped momentarily, desperately thinking of a polite way to say the next thought, “The other option is that she didn’t give you them, and you went and took them from her after she 'lost' them?” Turns out there is no polite way to ask someone if they betrayed their teacher.

Crix felt like he'd blinked a few times and missed a whole mess of stuff that probably shouldn't have fitted into such a small timeframe. One second people were talking about sisters and demanding a lightsaber, then it was being refused, then the refusal was being questions and then the refusal was kind of rebuked and the Lightsaber in question had ended up in the hands of someone who had just shown up.

A familiar someone too.

"Hey Hans!"
he called out to his Master with a wave of his hand, "Finally got out of your room today - was the new tea that good? I thought it tasted a bit too woody."

Yeah, he liked drinking tea, what of it? He eyed Drastus slightly, practically convinced that his friend would make a comment about drinking tea. It seemed like the kind of thing that Drast would do. He shrugged a little bit at Xiann.

"I think family issues are kind of an entry requirement around her."
he admitted to her in his best attempt at a 'sage' voice, "See me? I'm actually the clone of a Sith Lord who got his legs cut off and his top half buried in Tatooine but I don't really like to talk about it..."

Ha, as if anyone important died on Tatooine!

The lightsaber flew from Dasi's hand and Dasi stood in shock until she realized the Jedi Knight had pulled it from her hand and began lecturing her. Dasi's emotions were under control. She might be feeling regret for her failures but she was still in control of her emotions. "Sorry Master..." Dasi let the name float, she had never met this Knight. She continued even if they didn't offer up a name. "I just felt that she wasn't ready, and wanted to offer the opportunity to prove me wrong." Dasi sensed the lightsaber flying through the air and reached out for it, when it altered its course. She sighed. Was this going to be a regular occurrence?

She reached out to sense who it was who had grabbed the lightsaber and gasped before bowing. Master Garza had apparently taken an interest. "Master Grayza! Yes they are Master Kori's lightsabers. She was captured on our mission aboard the Starblazer. Its my fault Master. I managed to escape but I couldn't get to Master Kori before the pirates escaped." Dasi bowed her head, she should have tried to tell the council sooner. Normally the Knight or Master in charge would tell the council the results, but in this case apparently Dasi should have done that. Something had suddenly become very obvious in hindsight.

Drast would give his best friend a case of the side eye, followed by that smirk. "Ya like -woody- tea, eh? What else is your Master teaching ya?" he then shot his friend with the third most dangerous finger gun in the galaxy, accompanied with a click of the tongue. Whatever joke was coming next was halted by the hottest take of the meeting. It was so hot, that if he was in a fire brigade, that heat would burn through the suit and kill him instantly. It was so hot, it could have been on Comedy Galactic's Roast of Sheev Palpatine.

And immediately, that Drasty diplomacy kicked into overdrive, he sent some real goodwill Lani's way to hopefully bolster her resolve through the force and then he was at Xiann's side, hand immediately covering her mouth, with one arm over the shoulder. "Xiann, why don't we get food, you must be famished yeah? Yeah. Galania, when you are done here, or if you're hungry now, you are more than welcome to join us in the cafeteria." The hands now touching Xiann were gentle, almost even protective as he began to lead her away, whispering into her ear. It wasn't the ideal way, but holy kriff, how an almost polite meeting was bordering potential mudslinging.

Xiann’s trainwreck of thought came to an abrupt halt when Drastus covered her mouth and began to steer her away from the conversation and the group. Rusty took exception to this and aimed his rifle at the man, only lowering it when his master noticed and waved him to stand down. The Droid did so but began to follow the pair as they moved, he wasn’t going to let these strangers harm his master.

The Twi’lek was little weary of being lead away from the main group, but Drastus didn’t seem all that menacing. Besides, she could always just shoot him if he tried anything. As they got just out of earshot of the main group she turned and smiled at her human saviour, “Thanks, I’m used to just thinking out loud. Not my best quality I admit, and it does often lead to trouble.” She shrugged slightly, “I am trying to work on it though.”

She smiled widely at him, “So, my saving knight, I’m guessing from your jovial tone, everyday here doesn’t have this much drama? All tea, biscuits and meditation?”

Ah, so the Master had arrived. Hera watched the lightsaber fly from just out of her reach back towards Hannibal Grayza. Hera really had no impression of the man. She knew of him, knew of a few of his exploits and knew of his rank. But as to who he was as a person, what he really thought and how he would act, Hera knew nothing.

And she didn't care.

This world, these people, they overwhelmed the solitary Knight. On the floor, their chittering and conversations were tolerable. But she had dared to speak up, and now their voices were nigh unbearable. Moments after Hannibal finished speaking, Hera bowed to him and began to walk away. She was confident in the man's ability to speak to these padawans. If nothing more, his rank would demand respect.

She could barely understand what was going on inside her head as she moved away. A whirlwind of screams and anxiety, her own inner voice louder and more deafening than anyone who spoke beside her. Where she was walking, she did not know. But it would be far from here.

The young Master watched the red-headed Jedi, who he was fairly sure he'd seen on the news recently, wander off. He shrugged and turned back to the matter at hand. Nykoria Tallis' lightsaber. What a mess.

"Captured by pirates? Seriously? We really need to set up a hotline or somethin', 'cause that's an important bit of information," he replied, looking down at the hilt. His eyes turned up to Crix after his greeting, offering him a casual wave. "Yo! It just needed a touch of honey, then it's good stuff." Then back to the two girls, the blind Togruta and apparently Kori's sister.

"You both care about Kori's well-being, right? That's something you'll carry with or without a reminder." He brought the weapon up to examine, staring into it with an intensity that made it almost seem he could see straight through it for several seconds. Those same eyes turned to Kori's sister. "Neither of you have any claim to Kori's lightsaber. Remember this," he stated simply.

Then he offered the hilt to Galania.
"You will give back her lightsaber if she returns, yes?" he spoke to the two of them with a widening grin. "The red-head does have a point. Examine and settle your attachments and move forward, whatever Kori's fate. It's the healthy thing to do, y'know?" He stepping back after handing off the weapon, blinking once. He'd forgotten a step, lost in the fact he wasn't terribly fond of giving lectures. At least he'd kept it short.

"I'm Hannibal Grayza, or Hans. I'm on the Council."

Galania had already fromed an opinion on most of the people around her. But that tall guy was an enigma. He cracked a joke—much like a pre-Sullust Nykoria could've done—but seemed even more laid-back. Despite that outward attitude, the stranger took the matter rather seriously. Lani could say as much from his words about the saber.

And then he offered Galania the saber... Well, one half of it at least. The Zeltron stepped forward in disbelief, her grip on the weapon tightening as she realized that she wasn't dreaming. Lani examined her half of the split-saber with certain reverence, before raising her gaze again. Unlike the rest, that Jedi didn't speak about the fate that might've befallen Nykoria. He spoke of her as if she were alive. Even brought up returning it to the rightful owner.

Lani's face shone with a smile, as she replied earnestly, yet cheerfully, to match the stranger's laid-back attitude: "Wouldn't have it any other way." She stole a glance at the blind Togruta, before returning her attention to the Jedi and nodding to his remark.

A proper introduction was in order. Unlike many, Galania hadn't been in the Order for too long. She had not grown to respect the hierarchy just yet. Elated from the very fact of holding the saber again, she replied with a grin of her own. "Nice to meet you, Hans. As I said, I'm Galania... Or Lani." She paused for a moment, smirking as she came up with what she thought would be a good comeback and mirror of his introduction: "I'm on a mission, as the red-head would say."

Galania checked the weapon. Even though the saber was set to training mode, the Padawan took extra care to avoid pointing it in anyone's direction as she lowered it at her waist level. "Don't worry, I don't intend to mess it up," she added with all the seriousness she could muster in such a heartwarming moment for her. She then turned briefly to the Togruta: "So, can you tell me more about Ko... Master Tallis later?"
