Honestly, I wouldn't quit the site over a faction. I understand the dedication you can have to a faction, I was solidly dedicated to the Waste Rangers for a time and couldn't see myself anywhere else. So much so that I often considered that if the Rangers ever disbanded for whatever reason, I wouldn't have stayed on the site for very long. The Rangers have essentially fallen from grace and I don't have anything to do with them anymore, but I found a way to stick around anyway.

What I might suggest is focusing on your other characters for the time being. Cristo will no doubt be part of the civil war, which will hopefully offer plenty of opportunities for everyone. But the choice is ultimately up to you. If you do decide to leave the site, it'll be sad to see you go, but at the same time you have to do what you think is right for you. Personally, I think you're a versatile enough writer that you could easily adapt to a different style for a while until the Rebellion picks up again.

I can definitely understand where that frustration comes from. I might not have a Rebel, but I can see how unfair it is to give a new "faction" - if you can even call the OLR one - free reign to attack the Empire when the Rebellion has existed long before OLR and hasn't been allowed to do much at all.

I wish I could offer you some advice, I really do, but I wouldn't know how to go about appealing to the Rebel FLs to get them to do something. I see plenty of "we have a discussion thread over here, bring it up and we'll work it out" comments coming from the FLs, but I don't know if anything ever comes of that.

Yeah its rough. And then you watch OLR just pop up and get to do things because they don't need to do faction building stuff (which is frankly pretty boring tbh) like we do. I mean we could do more rebel vs Empire threads but we do need the backing that those building threads provide.

No I understand and completely agree. Part of the reason is that very few people seem to stay active in the Rebellion. At least consistently active. Like we've had so many missions and threads die or just go no where because people disappear.
