I ask this because Khivas wouldn't leave the fight or a somewhat innocent person behind, and the way Ark spoke would sure as shit spark a fight and prolong a thread that needs to end XD

He wasn't captured, which is to keep him in control of his own character's fate (as opposed to a faction) by the end of the duel. Since this thug gang is no Faction, it means he can simply write in the next thread, he escaped. I wrote that, because Ark would Never let an opponent he'd beaten get off scott free. If it means to prolongue the fight, then so be it.
