You realize it's possible to reply specifically to what somebody puts as their status, right, rather than just making another status in reply to it? Click the little ellipsis at the bottom right of the status updates, or go to the person's profile and do it that way. No need to make a complete other one.

Honestly I have no idea what an ellipsis is. Thus why I use the status thing more like a chat box. Than an actual status updating service.
