You don't necessarily need to have your character approved to RP. Unless you're joining one of the main factions.

I was not made aware of this -.- I messaged all the staff too and no reply on if I needed to wait since my character is a true indy.

Yep. Indies can basically hit the ground running. As soon as you're done, you can RP. Some members may comment and offer advice for changes or alterations though, and generally it's good practice to take their advice.

Other than that though, you don't need Admin approval to write your character.
