Battlefield 1 would look lame as shit if you were to make it like that.

I prefer what they were showing us in the trailer than actual trench warfare

The problem I have is that it looks nothing like WW1 from what is shown in the trailer. Most of the battles were trench warfare and whether we like it or not that's what mainly happened in WW1. The final battle - the battle of Somme - would be more than great to play in. Unfortunately it is probably the bloodiest battle humanity has seen with 1 million people dying in roughly 5-6 months

I'm a BF fanboy and my only concern is that they'll port over too much from hardline. I liked the gas gernades and masks which looks like they're using but that's about the only thing I liked in Hardline. Plus there's already plenty of "trench warfare" in BF4 and it's a good game.

They obviously had to make the game less historically accurate (like in the trailer) to make the game look more interesting, otherwise no one would be interested. The first time a friend told me the new battlefield was gonna be in WW1 I said that is gonna be boring. Then I saw the trailer and it completely changed my mind.

I'm a huge history fanboy and I think this: if you're going to make a game, film, book etc. of any historical event it should be quite historically accurate

Will BF4 wasn't historically accurate because none of the events ingame actually happened....so....

But that's different. I stand firm on my thoughts and this is what they are: If BF1 is slightly inaccurate so be it. I suppose no game can match such a brutality. But what would annoy me is that if BF1 was full of complete nonsense that would not even possibly happen in those days. I personally think going over the top (I highly doubt this would happen) is rather offensive actually.
