Okay well! How would people know about this little simulation thing? I mean Claire is not part of the Sith order of Band of Ziost, she's never even met them, and is only a Sith due to her training. Basically my question is, in character, is this simulation only open to members of the Sith order or band of Ziost? Or is it a "hey any member of the general public can join" affair?

Umm, it's not a public thing but was scheduled for any member of the Brotherhood to join. I guess I'm not sure I know the background of your char. Being a member would she be in Sith space or know anyone privvy to such things?

Hell just make up a reason. Why is she a Sith but not a Sith? That doesn't really make sense to me at all.

Because she has no desire to be dragged into a war that she doesn't want to be in. Plus the Sith Brotherhood are merely numerous Sith joined in a single objective. You don't have to be in the Brotherhood to follow the religion.

Ooooohhhhhh, I didn't understand the distinction you were making there. I do know that the Sith religion is different and separate from the Sith Brotherhood. It's just not very common for members to create a character that's not both. Well, if you can think of a reason she would be there feel free to join still, if not we'll catch you next time I guess. :)

I could probably come up with a reason but it depends on how publicly available the simulation fight is; unless we go with the "hey I'm just travelling through space and got caught up in this" excuse?

Yeah I wouldn't really object to that. You might have to pose as a Sith, or at least hide the fact that you're not actually a Sith since there's a whole group of people watching. But I would be okay with you saying that she was flying through or on the outskirts of Sith Space and heard the message about the simulation and popped in or whatever.
