Well, I literally sat down to write my post as you wrote that notification, and you did jump into the fight after I waited ~5 days for Aberforth to reply, so tbh I don't see the point of trying to autohit me. If you don't want to continue the fight, we can agree to end it in the next round.

I joined because we wanted to fight remember? Plus after those 5 days abe got autohit as per the rules like it should be. The rules is telling me that after 2 days if the opponent didn't post it becomes a auto hit. I'm not trying to be mean its just sadly the rules.

Abe got autohit so that he couldn't come back and jump into the melee after afking for so long, not because I (who was the person autohitting him) was enforcing the rule about him not posting after 2 days. I waited 5, and asked if I could just finish the thread and leave. [cont]

If you want to show how much you "wanted to fight me" by autohitting me on a technicality because I posted in ~55 hours instead of 48 after you posted at the 46 hour mark, go ahead. I'll be exiting the thread immediately after. The rules definitely support you, etiquette does not.

Yo, not to rush you through any thought process, but I actually have to go for the day and would like to pump this post out if you decide to continue the fight. If you want to go the rules lawyer approach to "win" our fight, let me know and I'll jet. Otherwise if you decide to let it go on I'll try to post within 10 minutes afterward!

I'm not trying to win the fight man, I just trying to follow the rules, I am even giving you the ability to minimize the damage whoever you want to. Cause I do want to continue the fight while still following the rules.

You can do whatever you want, the rules support you. But it's such incredibly poor etiquette that I have no intention of RPing with you and will just concede the mission if you actually do it. lol

I apologize if that sounded harsh, but I feel like the rules were written to avoid problems with people not responding, not to abuse to win fights over minor technicalities. It's not like I disappeared OOC, and if I really had to I could cite logs stating I've been really busy in Skype chats you're in. And I'm not sure how many hours have passed but like, less than 12. lol

I just checked the timestamps and I was literally at 1 hour and 40 minutes over the deadline when I stared writing my post... so yeah, I stand by the fact that if you really try to push the autohit on me, it will be in poor etiquette. I just want to know what you're going to do so I can either post or wait until after you make your next reply, otherwise my post will get even later.

Yo Richie, sorry man. It was just brought to my attention that, despite however strange it is to me, you are *not* abusing anything and you are actually affording me some leniency. Go ahead and do what you want. I'm still going to exit the thread though, so wrap up the mission however you want.
