Just keep working at it! Everyone has to start somewhere, and the more you prsctice, the better you'll get.

I apparently can't write a merc character to begin with anyway, so I'll just scrap him and make a completely new one and maybe take some writing classes or something because I can't write weaknesses into my characters.

Weaknesses are easy once you get down to it. What do you want your character to feel like? What time do you want to set with him?

His weaknesses are supposed to be he's still haunted by his past, he still carries the guilt of his girlfriends death, and he's being hunted by everyone who doesn't like him. I was going to write them in, but now I have to restart the signup.

Calm down. Take a second. Instead of scrapping him, lets try to make him better, OK?

I scrapped him. I'm gonna rewrite him and hopefully not get shot to kingdom come.

Dude. Work with him. You dont learn anything from trashing him. But if we work together to see what works and what doesn't, you can improve on your writing.

I've worked with this specific character on three other sites and got shot down. Over about 6 days of just getting his basics, I managed to make his ridiculously OP twice, raised his stats too high 4 times, made him to where he has no weaknesses 3 times, and at one point, I got him approved, but 5 whistleblowers got my profile shut down because of him.

I might just stick with Skaut, but I think once he gets his powers, I'll have to rewrite them.
