I will be writing two senators, one from Coruscant, working his butt off to get the whole senate moved to Coruscant itself (Because screw the agriculturally beautiful Chandrila.)
The other senator will be from Muun, as I hope it will be a part of the Republic. Shady, corrupt businessman...
Yes, someone mentioned that to me before. I must've missed it when reading the announcement. I could do that, but Im sure someone has already created a Senator for Coruscant.
Have I missed something important? The OP states that the Mandos will not be a major faction.
I do thank you though @Sin, I did not see that the senate was on Chandrila instead.
That could very well happen.
I for one, and I probably will get disapproval for saying this, am glad the Mandolorians may not be a main faction. Believe me, they are cool, but honestly, I feel like every roleplay site I've seen has them and they end up causing more trouble then anything else...
As far as I know, and if anyone here knows differently, please say so, but those groups did not vote but rather lobbied senators to vote for them. All 3 companies you listed were major commerce guilds that lobbied senators to get laws changed to suit their economic abilities. In the United...
If I am from party A and I tell someone from party B that I will vote with them on an issue, and I don't, then that party would no longer trust me. Me being a part of a party and doing it or me being by myself makes no difference. They would not trust me regardless of my party affiliation, since...
Companies are companies though. Senators represent planets that are a part of the Republic itself. Companies might have representatives that can sit in on certain Senate meetings, but over all would not have a say in voting, debate, etc.
I also think its slightly odd to have only 1 senator per...
I'm thinking of creating a senator that hails from Alsakan that is very bitter that Coruscant is the capital of the Republic. He is going to be doing everything in his power to create anti-Republic sentiment, in order to erode the publics trust of the senate and their representatives.
This is a fantastic idea. I see the site admins are really trying hard to make sure that factions are actually used by the variety of people role-playing. I've seen RP sites where the factions are merely words posted in a character profile. It will be nice to see some faction loyalty and...
That is a good thing.
I am sorry if this was asked before, but will people be allowed to form political parties in the senate? The parties could be considered "sub" factions, but not in a traditional sense. They wouldn't have resources or armies of course.
I am completely new to this forum, and it pains me to say I wish I would've waited another month before joining. I am at a point now where I cannot create a character without losing it within a month's time.
However, I am looking forward to the new timeline. It sounds fantastic. I for one...
Hello everyone! I am new here and generally new to roleplaying in general. I am currently looking for a home to start my Star Wars fantasies. The plot here intrigued me and I hope to create some great characters.
How is everyone doing today?
