DESCRIPTION​

The 0-LT is a utility droid manufactured by Duwani Mechanical Products and introduced in the decades after the Galactic Civil War. The successor to the company's AL-T series, the 0-LT was designed to incorporate astromech functionality out of the box rather than only with software updates, but like the AL-T it aimed for a lower price point than offerings from other companies. To this end, the 0-LT recycled parts from as many earlier Duwani products as possible, and though its components were more functional than, say, one of Best Quality Mechanicals' products, it was not known for being the paragon of durability that, say, an R2 unit was.

Despite its few shortcomings, the 0-LT was a popular model in the years leading up to the First Order-Resistance war, and it actually remains in production to this day.
