It would be a cold day on Mustafar before Aaisha was going to miss a Crimson Dawn party. While the Morganian had largely been laying low since the heist on Indupar, she’d kept a presence in her usual circles - and had thus received the invite from Nymeria to the private beach. It was certainly a good opportunity to rub shoulders with some of her fellow Syndicate members.

At one point or another, Aaisha had found herself behind the beachside bar - slinging drinks for party goers just like she did at Afterlife. She was dressed in a pair of high-waisted, black pants and a matching blazer - alongside a mesh blouse underneath. Her dark hair was parted to the left and cascaded down her shoulder, revealing the tattoos that lined the right side of her shaved scalp.

Her golden eyes flicked across the beach - quietly surveying those who had arrived. There were a few familiar faces amongst the crowd. She’d worked with Mars on a few occasions and rather enjoyed the Slicer’s company, and had fought with Covax during that Zann nonsense. Of course, it didn’t take long for Aaisha’s gaze to settle upon the silver-eyed richie and.. Some motherfucker straight out of a budget mafia Holo.

Aaisha watched the exchange for a few moments, lips pursed together. Someone was about to get dropped, and the Morganian pretty confidently put her credits on the man with a reputation.

“Wouldn’t be a Dawn party if someone didn’t get a Bounty put on their head,” The Morganian said smoothly, sliding a few more shots across the counter for the group. Her golden eyes flicked towards Mars, offering the Slicer a small wiggle of her fingers. “Long time no see.”

Aaisha’s attention flicked over to Ezra as he approached the bar, flashing him a fanged smile. If she caught the resemblance whatsoever, it didn't manifest externally. “Care to join in?” She asked, sliding a shot glass across the counter and towards wherever Ezra was sitting.

Covax continued to give the young man (@Sreeya ) a stern look as he shuffled along. As the Tognath could not help himself but to reach for the kid's watch, apparently unable to help himself. Covax proceeded to club him in the back of the head with whiskey bottle he had taken from the Echani (@Arcangel ). It was was the only weapon he hand handy, because who the fuck brings a gun to a party. Likely the Vanguard from now on.

Still having a hold of the thug from the stock of his rifle. Covax jerk the alien in front of him then just as the mucus filled furball coughed of sneezed, coating the Tonath's face and mask. Then, as he couldn't really resist. Given the blow from the bottle, and crossed arms, and strapped rifle on his back. Covax shifted his weight and turned, pulling the slightly taller alien into a judo style toss to the ground.

Just as the alien hit the ground, Covax phone would buzz with a notification. "Stay." Ordered the Vanguard, then pulled his phone from his pocket and took a shot from a passing tray of them. Tapping a icon that said. 'New Bounty Alert from ICS'. Tapping it to show the fool on the ground. Rather he could see it or not. "Look at that, you have a bounty already for picking on the rich kid. Oh and it's worth....." He reached down and took the watch back. "About as much as this watch."

His lesson to the thug done. Covax then walked away and joined the young man he knew without a doubt was Emryc Thorne's and a pretty face he had not seen since the day Covax became a legend. "Aaisha...right?... long time." He said to the Morganian (@Altaris ), and then toward Ezra. "Drink up kid."

Ezra had no idea what was going on right now, but all these adults were offering him free booze. He never turned down free booze. He may have looked like Emryc Thorne, but he didn’t have his father’s discipline. He ate meat, loved alcohol, snorted spice and did everything else his father would never touch. Ezra took in sight of his surroundings and decided it was safest to play along for now in case anyone else had a blaster hidden in their bikini.

He despised being around so many commoners. They wore cheap clothes and smelled funky. He, on the other hand, smelled like a million crowns. Of course, he stole his father’s cologne and drowned himself in it instead of the recommended spritz. Ezra looked at the woman that offered up a drink, his gaze flicking over to the liquor options. Cheap shit. And did she just say Dawn? As in Crimson Dawn? He was in a Syndicate gathering? Just perfect.

“Uh yeah, gimme whatever that…bright colored one is..” He said as he pointed to a neon blue drink. Of course, he had no idea he ordered one of the strongest drinks here. He couldn’t appear weak. Commoners were like dogs - you had to be an alpha or they’d eat you alive.

Ezra picked up the shot glass and threw it back, coughing and sputtering at once. It was disgusting and he almost vomited right there. His eyes began to turn red and he punched his chest. He gingerly set the glass down, giving a shaky thumbs up to the bartender lady, “Another!”

He looked over to spot the man from earlier that handled the Sunshine Slasher. Ezra pondered for a moment before he spoke, “Any chance I can get that chrono back?” He asked as he stared at the man, “I nicked it from my Pops,” He said with a smug look on his face.

Terra watched the events that unfolded, waiting for Covax to do his thing, and actually a tad bit disappointed that he didn't put the bandit out of commission. In truth, the man was lucky. If this had been a party hosted by Dryden Vos back in the Crimson Dawn heyday, he'd have been killed for trying to rob Vos's patrons.

The situation was only compounded by the fact that as the young man drew closer, Terra recognized him. Or at least she thought she did. She was having a hard time grasping that President Thorne's son would be here, but if he was, then he certainly wasn't going to be robbed of his watch on her watch.

She made a motion to the guards, who quickly closed in. All trained Blue Star mercenaries, the trench coat wearing man (@Olwin) who no one seemed to know was immediately outnumbered four to one.

As soon as he hit the ground from the throw, a trio of stun bolts from the guard-mercs would slam into him from different directions, knocking him out cold. Terra didn't even have to know about the bounty to know it was bad for business and bad for Dawn's reputation if they couldn't protect their own territory. Terra would not abide that.

Only when she was satisfied the man was out cold and his limp body was being dragged away did Terra turn back to the rest of the guests. Zhann seemed to have appeared, a man she hadn't seen in quite some time but who she was still interested in a potential partnership with.

She made her way over to the young man (@Sreeya) and Covax (@Taz). Everything was recovered and returned? she asked. She had seen Covax grab the watch, and made sure nothing else was missing. The fact that he mentioned it was apparently his father's watch was... well, just perfect.

The sudden collapse and thud of the man near him confirmed the worst. The man had clearly not applied enough sunblock and had fainted from over exposure, fortunately the life guards were applying some kind of fancy new electric version he'd never seen before. They were even kind enough to drag the limp man out of the sun and into shade, how considerate were the people here??

Content with his own application, Yazz pulled a small metal contraption from his backpack and started assembling it. Powering it up, the device begun measuring the electromagnetic disruptions just below the surface, enabling the avarice seekers an opportunity to see beneath the sand.

Of course to the untrained eye it appeared to be nothing more than sticks, metal cans and sparkling rocks held together by assorted strands of string.

Taking a stroll down the beach he'd frequently have to duck and weave around the patrons. There simply was no respect given to a honest days work in the Corsairs Cove. Yazz muttered something under his breath, exhausted by the ten minutes of hard labour and needing a drink.

While the bar itself was difficult to order from owing to his height, his technical skills came in handy as he applied his patented pull up technique against it in order to plant his behind on the chair. After the day he had, he'd want the others to see him go straight for the hard stuff.

"One virgin dihydrogen monoxide please, shaken nor stirred."

"Yeah..." Bel remarked to himself. "These guys are great." A cheeky smile spread across his face as he sat down and relaxed on the warm sandy shore, hazing off into the beautiful horizon- just taking it all in, the fresh air, the beautiful lightly clouded sky, the smell of whiskey and cigar smoke, and the sound of stun bolts knocking some punk out. This was paradise if Bel knew anything else.

"Man, I love the beach," Bel sighed happily before standing up to stretch (but mainly to subtly show off his muscles). He made his way back over to his big cigar box, picked one up, and lit it with a match- the right way to light a cigar. The Scoundrel then noticed a teenager trying to stomach a drink a little too blue for him and huffed a plume of smoke. Who was this kid again? Bel wasn't paying any attention, and maybe he should have, because everyone seemed to know something about him. Ezra did have a pretty expensive looking watch.

"Hey, little man, go easy on yourself. Probably don't want alien alcohol all over your daddy's watch, right?" Bel teased playfully before shaking up a concoction of his own. Now, working in a casino had it's perks, one of them being able to learn how to make a nearly perfect drink for some stranger just by "lookin' at 'em", as Xur probably would've said. It didn't take long before the drink was ready and Bel the Bar Tender slid a drink across the counter towards Ezra. Regardless of whether or not he caught it, it would stop just within grasping reach without toppling over. "If you don't like it, I'll buy you something to match the watch."

“Annnndddd,” Aaisha mused with a fanged grin, leaning over the bar ever-so-slightly. “Down he goes.” She said with no lack of amusement, watching as the Tognath was utterly ragdolled to the ground by Covax. She wasn’t the least bit surprised to see the Vanguard handle business, and didn’t care about the idiot being ragdolled whatsoever. He’d shown up to a Crimson Dawn Party, armed, and started harassing guests. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

All the same, the Morganian couldn’t help but wonder why Ezra had garnered as much attention as he did.

She didn’t dwell on it too long - instead turning her attention back to Covax as he approached the bar. “I hear you’ve kept busy,” The Morganian tilted her head with a grin, sliding over a drink for the Vanguard to down.

“Got a drink of choice, boss?” She glanced towards Terra, only looking past the Tiefling when the Tognath was peppered with stun bolts. Oh well.

Finally, Aaisha looked back to Ezra. It was only then, now that he was up close, that Aaisha began to piece together the resemblance. Her golden gaze flicked between Covax and Terra, internally playing back their own reactions to his arrival. It all made a lot more sense - seeing both of the Syndicate bosses going out of the way for some kids. The Presidents kid.

Aaisha stared blankly for a moment, and promptly decided she didn’t want anything to do with that. She said nothing and gave no indication - for her own sake - that she knew exactly who Ezra was. If the kid was hanging out in Syndicate territory, it meant he wasn’t up to any good - and Aaisha much preferred to feign ignorance if his daddy’s came knocking. Instead, she arched a brow at his request.

“Rhydonium Rush?” She glanced down at the drink he chose. It was probably one of the higher quality, and definitely strongest thing behind her counter. “If you say so,” She poured him exactly what he wanted and slid it across the table. She bit back a smirk when he practically gagged on it, shaking her head a bit when he called out for another. Aaisha briefly glanced to her right, wondering when some Zabrak had gotten behind the bar and why he happened to be there.

“If you have to puke, do it that way,” Aaisha pointed a slender finger in the opposite direction of the bar. She had no desire to clean up puke off her counter, just because some pompous brat couldn’t hold his liquor.

As the shots fired from the guard, Covax's muscle memory kicked in. Causing the Vanguard to instinctively reach for the hand cannon on his hip he didn't have. "Fuck!" he muttered. Then glared at the thug with the weapon, "Nice shot Tex, Really. Better really fucking late then never I guess."

Returning his attention to the kid (@Sreeya ), Covax then looked to the time piece in his hand. Turning it over to read and inscription on the back. "To my Emmy, Love JT." The towering human sighed in frustration. Then handed the watch to Ezra. "Trust me kid, you didn't nick shit. He just doesn't give a shit." Covax knew his benefactor well enough to know he gave about zero fucks about something as trivial as a watch. Wedding gift or not. But Em's husband on the other hand. Well..."Just remember to tell your other daddy who save'd your ass, and that watch."

"All good here Tee."
Covax replied to Terra (@Phoenix )"Just the watch, and this kids pride." Turning his attention to the bar and to Aaisha (@Altaris ), returning her playful grin. "I do what I can. Terra have you all to herself or are you still a free agent ?" He asked playfully. He knew this was a CD party, but there was no harm in asking.

Covax than took his drink as the Jr Thorne went for round two. Already looking a little green around the gills. "Ok Kid, I'll give you two hundred crowns if you can kill three of those." Covax was hoping the kid wanted to show off in front of all these criminals. Win back some of that ego he lost giving up daddy's watch. Also, just maybe, get the young kid so stupid and hung over he wouldn't make the mistake of doing it again. Then, hearing the Zabrak jump in (@Charles )...."Fuck it, kill four and I'll get you your own watch."

Ezra stared blankly at the bartender that slid over a drink and remarked on him puking, “Maybe some vomit would accessorize the bald side of your head,” He said coolly as he tossed back the drink and almost vomited right there. He held it in out of spite, refusing to crack in front of the admittedly beautiful bartender that had everyone’s attention.

He blinked in surprise when his ‘savior’ from earlier handed the watch back. He eyed the other man briefly, “You know my father?” He asked before he looked down at the watch, “Sorry to hear that,” He added in an undertone. Despite the image he projected across the galaxy, anyone that actually knew Emryc knew he was a block of ice.

“I’ll be sure to do that,” Ezra said dryly to savior man, not even knowing his name. What did it matter? These people were nobodies. At the drink challenge, he stared at the glasses of drinks and then at both him and the Zabrak. He wanted to make some snobby remark about how he was better than this, but the first drinks were already making him slow.

“Fuck it,” He said as he threw back all four in quick succession. He would regret it in a moment, but for now, he was enjoying the drinks going through his system. Ezra may have been younger, but he had done his share of partying aboard his private yacht.

A song came on in the speakers and he decided it was time to start the party. Largely ignoring what anyone else was doing, he started swaying and moving. He unbuttoned the rest of his preppy dress shirt and started grooving. To everyone’s likely surprise, the kid actually knew how to dance. His shoulders bobbed, hips moved and feet were stomping all around as he danced to the song. His shades were back on so no one could see how drunk he actually looked, but he was having a grand old time. He also gave no fucks if anyone danced with him or not.

Mars' eyes widened ever so slightly when they landed on Aaisha, and her lips tugged upward into a crooked smile when the bartender waved. She waved back, and as soon as the drunk teen wobbled his way over to dance away, the cyborg woman slid over to her side of the bar.

"Long time no see indeed," she replied. She turned so that she could see both Aaisha and watch the crowd, her metal arm resting on the bar with the vodka in her fingers. "What have you been up to?" She took a sip of her drink, dark eyes searching to make contact with the Morganian's golden ones.

"You gonna be behind the bar all night?" she asked with half a smirk and a raised eyebrow.

Terra was glad to hear that everything seemed to be set right with the young man and Terra got back to smiling, drinking, and feeling good in only a few moments.

I'll have another phattro, I think, she said as Aisha asked what drink she would want.

She seemed satisfied by Covax's response, and though the Vanguard hadn't actually knocked the man out, he seemed to have intervened in time before anything went poorly.

Hey, don't be trying to poach my talent, she said jokingly to Covax as he asked if Aisha was a free agent or not.

As Mars asked if Aisha was going to be behind the bar all night, Terra just smirked. She just likes to tip money. Tip jars are always the most full at After life when she's tending. I'm sure it doesn't have anything to do with her looks, she said teasingly.

Covax was not at all surprised by the kid's look when he realized that the Vanguard might know of his father (@Sreeya ). The former mercenary would not call Emryc a close friend by any stretch, but Raze wasn't rag-dolling him or glassing his home. So they business partners.

"Your father's rep is well known among the syndicates." Covax answered, truthfully enough. The crime boss could see the expression on the boy's face. A look of perhaps disappointment or longing perhaps. It was unsurprising. Covax could only wonder what home life was like with a sociopath.

Smiling toward Aaisha and then glancing over to Terra (@Phoenix ), "Well then, leave some for me." Then he looked back toward Aaisha (@Altaris ), "I could use your..." He paused to look her up and down once again, "skills." He smiled. He was of course talking about a job, but couldn't resist.

Hearing the tip job comment, Covax toss in a hundred credit tip into the jar. Then took a sip of his very yummy drink. "Mmm, I'll have another of these in about five minutes."

Where there was a bounty, there was Edin. While he had no intention of joining some Crimson Dawn party. He was on this planet to meet with some contacts that could provide some intel on a target he was supposed to kill. When this new bounty popped up, he figured he could make a quick pit stop and continue on his way.

He was already on his way when his datapad told him that the tognath was tossed behind bars by local authorities. Edin sighed, but he decided to make the best of it and enjoy his time on the beach. He lazily strolled into the scene, dressed in casual and decorative beachwear. He also wore a straw hat, sunglasses, and he had a coconut with a straw in it in one hand. There was a blaster pistol stashed away in one of his pockets just in case something came up.

Edin drew from the straw, watching as a teen that looked remarkably like the ISC President violently threw up into the ocean. Walking past that disaster, he continued on his way towards where he saw a congregation of people he recognized. Everyone seemed preoccupied with chatter, so he seated himself at the very end of the bar. He arrived so subtly, that he almost expected a few people next to him to jump in surprise.

While she poured another phattro, Aaisha couldn’t help but smirk at the trio gathered around her bar. The Morganian was admittedly accustomed to people seeming to shower her with attention, and allowed her golden gaze to flick across each and every one of them - lingering first on Mars. It had been months since she’d seen the Slicer last, after all. “Same old,” The Morganian said with a drawl, sliding the phattro over to Terra without taking her eyes off Mars. “Why?” She leaned across the counter a bit. “Do you plan on asking me to move from behind it?” Aaisha raised a brow towards the other woman, her gaze briefly flicking towards the dancefloor before she took a step back.

“Whatever gets them in the door,” She flashed Terra a wink. “I’m sure our proprietor is happier for it.”

Aaisha rested her elbows onto the counter, staring back at Covax. Her grin only tugged a bit wider when he made his comment. “That so?” She mused, drumming her nails against the surface of the bar. “Well my services come at a premium,” Aaisha glanced back to Terra. “But I’m sure we can come to an arrangement that makes us all happy.” With that she took a step back, making note of the Vanguard’s request for a refill.

It was only then that Aaisha spotted Edin as he slipped into place - seeming to evade the notice of most others at the bar. She flashed the Firrerreo a smile and wiggle of her fingers, her molten gaze flicking to a few different bottles behind her counter - a few different types of liquor and fruit juices kept in the cooler. It didn’t take long for the Morganian to whip up a cocktail for the Firrerreo - drawing upon previous experiences that keyed her into his preference for the fruitier beverages.

She slid the
bright orange drink across the counter for Edin, topped off with a slice of citrus and a cherry. “Don’t be a stranger now,” Aaisha commented.

“Seems the kid is the only one with enough balls to get out on the dancefloor,” Aaisha commented with a clear challenge to the rest. A few moments later, Aaisha gestured to subtly getting the attention of a nearby bar worker with a snap of her fingers and point. They would promptly make their way over to where Ezra was throwing up his lunch - attempting to guide the kid into a seat with an ample supply of water.

He was going to be feeling like utter trash by this time tomorrow - and Aaisha was at least going to make an attempt to lessen the severity of it.
