Dantooine as one person put it was once a world inhabited by the Jedi Order. It almost bathed in the Light of the Force. Sadly for Rowa, he was not privy to the name of this place given he was brought here blindfolded and the name was well hidden by the two Jedi who guard him. He had felt a strange wind call to him, and the words the Jedi Knight Inabe spoke to him were ringing in his ears as he followed the Jedi through the barren plains. The journey was quite quiet as the one known as Oren Zapan kept to the front. The other, a Pantoran whose name Rowa did not know, kept the rear. He couldn't help but betray a slight smirk. They're careful, I'll give them that. He thought for a moment before he noticed they were heading towards a strange alcove in the distance what it was he had no clue.

"What is this place?" he asked instinctively, his gaze shifting from their destination to the two Jedi on either side of him...

It had already been a few months since the events in Mandalore and Although Adenn had seen much he wondered now if the motherworld could be healed... if there were more artifacts which could be removed... if the force could not heal her. his concerns brought him to Dantooine, According the memoirs of Besk'in there was a jedi Temple and khyber Crystal cave on the planet. his plan was to travel there in order to read the ancient codexes and learn what he can about healing planets. His ship landed on the platform and departed it as the pit droids surrounded it going to their tasks.

L'ewvan followed Adenn From the Spooky Mistress. He had heard in great Detail the events on Mandalore and soon had taken on his Father's dream of restoring the land which belonged to his people.
"Kalyr, how would we even know where to find this temple? and what if there are Jettii? what if it had been destroyed after the Clone wars?"
his father remained silent for a few minutes before speaking
" Rar'a'yr, our Ancestor was a knight of the old order. He had given to us everything we needed. There were temples on Jedha, Dantooine, Ilaam, Lothal, Coruscant and many other Planets. Our Predecessors, through scouting, have determined those Jedha and Lothal are no good. Ilem has not been seen for a long time as it was a jettii secret. And the one on Coruscant... well Im not going to the core. Here on Dantooine there might be information. be they books or even a smaller, more reasonable group of Jettii. here we can gather information. I am sure."
L'ewvan nodded in satisfaction at the answer. He felt as though even if the information wasnt readily available to them, him being able to see the process of following in the foot steps of his forefathers was just as valuable as the knowledge they sought.

Rowa continued to follow the Jedi towards the alcove, revealing itself more and more to be a cave. He could feel the whispers becoming stronger and stronger as the Jedi quietly led him in.

"This place...It is strong in the Force" he said out loud, his eyes looking around the rather darkened cave, causing the one named Oren to illuminate with a lantern. Their trek continued further and further into the caves the darkness becoming ever present in Rowa until from the corner of his eye came a glint in the distance. He turned, watching as the lantern became dimmer while the end of the tunnel became brighter and brighter. Before he knew what to make of it they exited, stepping into a massive chamber...
mysterious-blue-crystal-cave-stimulating-260nw-1317355751.jpg
...The gems that dotted the floor, walls, and sometimes the ceiling glittered as the Force rang in all of them. Various whispers began calling, as if wanting to commune among themselves or with their new visitors. Rowa looked around, standing a bit in awe as he looked around the chamber while still being pushed forward by the Jedi.

"This...Is a Kyber Cave isn't it?" asked Rowa, looking first towards Oren then towards the Pantoran Jedi...

They had walked for some time, following the map given to them by a local entrepreneuring youth selling hand drawn maps. Adenn was skeptical of the accuracy but having reinforced it by local word of mouth, he felt confident in finding it. The cave glittered with crystals, the little gems seemed to sing in the daylight which danced along their surfaces and diffused into a variety of colors. Adenn couldn't help but smirk.
"Ner Ad'ika, these are kin of the Ember of Besk'in. They are called "Khyber" by the Aruetii but we reverently refer to them as "Rumi'ka" [Little Souls]. They should be treated with the utmost care and respect. Their Power is immense and indestructibility immeasurable. Be careful to give them their due respect"
He entered the humming cave, his Son in toe. he was careful not to disturb the Rumi'ka. He listened to them sing quietly.
"Of all the Gems which sang that day
there was but one to see
for while others remained a dullish gray
the Ember sang and shone to me."

Adenn smiled at that
"so you have been reading his memoirs. that poem is the only one left still written in his hand and its at the tail end."

L'ewvan walked behind his father. He was mstly quiet but heard nothing. he wondered why the small crystals didnt sing for him but then he remembered he was not "willed" as the old clan codexes called it. they would never sing for him but he felt it righ to sing for them.
"I've been doing my best. the Memoirs of Besk'in are so long it was hard to finish it. but I was so inspired by his own studying at the temple that I felt spurred on. He took so much time to record his knowledge and wisdom. it seemed like an injustice to skim through or ontly read it occasionally."
his father nodded his head in approval at that. He was, No doubt, satisfied with L'ewvan's efforts. at leas thr boy hoped.
"unil his last day he wrote. He remained in his chambers for months, writing by hand the first three books in clan Rytt's possession; the Stiaoe Lakulha [The Elder's Codex], the Rimr Be Haat [Book Of Truths and the Stima Lakulha [Swordsmans Codex]. the Elder's Codex has the memoirs and wisdom of every Clan elder since Besk'in. their memoirs, their last commands even. the Rimr Be Haat has all we need to worship in the way we should and has careful instructions for what the future should be, given to our founder by a god even. and the Stima Lakulha? that is for great swordmanship. these are the three one needs to be a well rounded Verd. but reading the other 4 and following their wisdom? Well, that will make you a man worthy of legend"
his father replied. L'ewvan was late to the game of being a Mandalorian but he wanted to be a man worthy of Legend too

She remained silent for most of the journey. Truth be told, she didn't trust this former Sith, and she found extreme doubt with his willingness to reform. It wasn't as though you could snap your fingers and suddenly there was change; he had to prove it, beyond a shadow of a doubt. And yet all he did was ask questions. He was like a child, perpetually seeking answers to things she felt he should have already been taught, things he should have understood from the beginning.

"I asked you to make a choice." Her voice was succinct, calm, as she gazed up at the roof of the cave. "For those of us attuned to the Force, there is no middle ground. Light side or Dark Side... both each in need of the other, but in such extremes that to find a balance between the two would be impossible." She eyed the male contemplatively, hands folded behind her back. "You chose the first step towards the Light. But there are many obstacles ahead."

Her gold gaze was not unkind, but she did not smile. She disliked that Oren left her to speak for them... she wished he would. She was not a great teacher, but a Knight, and being tasked this felt an honor she did not deserve. "When you dwelt in the dark, you dwelt in fear, in anger. Now you have the choice to abandon those, and leave the path to destruction. But I won't force you to choose. That is your decision to make. However..." her voice trailed off, glancing at the crystals.

"This place is steeped in the Light. Do you feel it, calling to you Rowa?"

Rowa stood there for a moment, gazing at the chamber and feeling the pull of the light. He looked around, the whispers began to become stronger and stronger as he felt a foot come forward. It was then he felt a singular whisper grace across his ear...

"Ad"

Rowa jerked his head toward one of the tunnels. Standing in the distance was a faint figure. Armor clad in something familiar he just couldn't remember, a sigil emblazoned upon the figure's cape but all was a blur. Rowa squinted, taking another step forward as he felt the figure pull him, the figure itself starting to fade further down the tunnel, "Who...Who are you?" he asked out loud, walking forward, his hands still bound...

how long had they been spelunking for? Only Kad knew, a few hours maybe. the humming cave seemed to go on and on...
"How long before we Reach the other end?"
L'ewvan Asked.
"Im not entirely sure"
Adenn replied.
"its hard to know for sure but we will likely reach the end before too long. it'll be well worth the work when we reach the old temple. therell be answers for me and Uj'alayi for you. for now keep your mind on the Journey, were in a cave of Khyber for the destroyer's sake."
L'ewvan gave a small cheer at the promise and quickly turned to other subjects.

Uj'alayi was a fine treat, According to what he had heard from the others in the pack it was usually a sweet cake but when Adenn made it it was more a dense bar of mostly dried, sticky fruit and ground nuts coated with yet more starch powder to keep it relatively easy to carry in a pack. L'ewvan's mind dwelt on it for a few moments more before he turned his mind to the Crystals surrounding them. he thought about picking one up and placing it into his pocket for a keepsake.
"Would it be ok to take a Khyber? I think thatd b-"
"Absolutely not."
his father caught him mid thought
"these do not belong to you. they do not belong to me. if they wanted you to pick on up, itd glow and change color. these belong to others whose fate it is to wield them."
Adenn Sighed before continuing;
"There are some who will wield Khyber qhich is not theirs to have. they will twist and pervert it until it bleeds. these are the Dar'jettii. the Sith. These crystals have survived the Clone wars, the empire, the remnant, the first order. we must leave them in peace, Jarma. If one desires to be yours you will know."
L'ewvan wondered at the Crystals. The power which they held, at least in his mind, was worth disturbing their balance over. He thought about how the Dar'Jettii, even with their problems, held power.

Rowa felt the pull of the individual, their presence beginning to disappear as they went farther from the group. Rowa without a second thought began to move forward him being drawn by this figure without a clue as to why. The sensation of familiarity to who they were but unable to remember began to harass his mind.

Why? he thought to himself, I've traveled far and I've never seen them. But why does this man feel familiar to me!? The thought of not recalling them began to stir his anger, the Dark Side seeing this as opportune to retake hold once more while Rowa's pace began to quicken, desperate to not lose this figure in winding tunnels of the Caves. He stumbled forward, his ears and mind deaf to any who would try to halt his advance. He continued forward, the pull of the figure becoming every stronger and as such the figure to him became ever clearer: The Man was clad in strange Armor, their body covered head to to in Segmented dull gray steel. The color was a mixture of Silver, Gray, and Blue with a trim of Gold. The body itself was rapped in a heavy blue cape with fur trim, upon the cape itself was the sigil; however the sigil itself remained a mystery to Rowa as he advanced forward. Rowa's walk had turned into a run, pleading with the figure to wait when they suddenly stopped, prompting Rowa to halt as well, hearing the footsteps of the Pantoran and Oren halting behind him. Rowa stared at the man, not even realizing that the Jedi ware staring at him in confusion. The man suddenly turned back, their face concealed by a helmet encasing their head, a distinctive T-Visor where the face would be as Rowa stared at them for a moment trying to understand who stood before him.

"Ad" replied the man, turning to continue their journey down the tunnels.

"Wait!" called Rowa, "What does that mean!?" he asked, his confusion turning to frustration as he hadn't a clue what was going on. He wanted answers, he demanded answers. Why?! Why was this all confusing him? Why did it make him feel like this? Why after all these years of trying to fulfill his role that this caused him discomfort most foul? The figure continued forward, and Rowa on instinct began pursuit once more...

they continued to walk into the cave, the small gems continuing in their choir. where they sang, the pair followed. where the Khyber stopped singing? the pair turned. in this fashion the mandos wandered through the cave for a few hours, working towards plocaty the exit. the hours spent were largely focused on teaching L'ewvan as they wandered as a secondary objective. Adenn recited passages and L'ewvan was expected to finish them and name the source text.
"The forsaken shall flock to us, they who are empowered by the destroyer and yet persecuted by his fallen people.."
Adenn began, allowing L'ewvan to finish it:
"It is for us to nurture and raise them to glory and to prowess. We would be among the most ignorant to know the truth and fall in line with the others. for who but fools and blind men would cast aside gems and pearls as though they were mere pebbles?
thats the RimrBeHaat, Its the fourth paragraph of opening page."

L'ewvan responded. Adenn Clapped for the Jarma
"Well done. We'll need to keep up with Mando'a so you cab recite them in the tongue."
the cave seemed to grow bighter and brighter as Adenn and L'ewvan moved through the passages towards the end of the caverns. at the end in the daylight there a figure stood in the doorway. Adenn Called out:
"Jetii, We've come in peace, we seek answers to restore Mandalore to Glory and her natural state."

She sprinted after the man, brow furrowed. "Stop!" she exclaimed, reaching for his shoulder. At the lack of figure, she exhaled, then looked to Rowa. "The Force works in mysterious..." her voice trailed off at another voice echoing in the caverns, immediately reaching for her lightsaber.

She frowned, glaring through the dark to the familiar mark of the T-visor. Like Roland, but not like. She couldn't sense any darkness... but she was wary. Immediately she moved in front of Rowa protectively, golden eyes sharp.

"No offense, but that doesn't sound particularly non-threatening,"
came her dry reply, back tall. "Who are you, and why are you here?" Perhaps not the most friendly of responses, but they were alone, and this was a place of importance for Jedi. It didn't exactly soothe either that they addressed them as 'Jetti' either. If history was any indication, most that followed the path considered Jedi as target practice.

Her hand was on the hilt of her lightsaber, fully prepared to talk or defend Rowa. The glow of the crystals provided adequate light, but not enough.

Rowa was close to reaching the man when the Pantoran's hand grabbed him, stopping him for a moment to look back. His face went from confusion to anger as he was distracted from his quarry. He turned to hear a voice, looking to see another T-Visored man come forward, a child at his side. He looked around, trying to find the figure but only found the shadows pushed back by the glow of the kyber Crystals. His frustration slowly built into anger as he stood there while the Jedi and the other figures talked. However his frustration by these thoughts, these memories, these contradictions in his life...it all angered him for lack of clarity. With a small grunt to vent his frustration he slammed his hands against a wall thinking nothing of it.

Rumble...Rumble...Rumble...

Rowa and the others could feel it. The shaking, the rumbling, the vibrations of the Crystals as dust from the roof of the cave began to shake off their surface and fall to the floor. Rowa looked around, wondering if his anger had disturbed the Force here in some way...or was it something a bit more...practical...

Adenn frowned at the response, he had made a poor choice of words and put the jedi on edge. he rested his left hand on the pommel of his beskad, Grimscar and took a deep breath before strolling forward, L'ewvan in Toe.
"Forgive me, Jet... erh-jedi. I have come seeking wisdom and guidance from your folk. I was on Mandalore, the pearl of all worlds. she has been reduced to a wasteland as you know, however I believe there might be a way to... restore her to as she was before her decimation. Ive come to look into your Archives and learn from your wisdom on how this might be done."
He took a deep breath before continuing;
"I believe that there is dark will effectively preventing it from recovering. I saw a mask of the Dar'jettii, when removed, made it so a tree grew in the center of Sundari. I believe there might be others on that world. a dark gift from our treacherous "allies" the Dar'jettii from ages passed."
he walked closer to her, as he did the ground began to shake and the walls of the cave began to crack and crumble.

Rowa began to sense danger, looking up to see the roof of the Cave beginning to give. His eyes sunk in terror upon the realization, especially upon discovery that the Pantoran Jedi would be in the path of the debris. Without a word he used both of his bound hands, grabbing the Jedi by the Tunic and pulling as hard as he could while lurching himself forward, giving himself leverage to send her back towards Zapan and out of harms way. He watched as she was caught by Oren, only to have his gaze look up to see loose dirt and Khyber crystals come down on him. He attempted to use the Force, raising his bound hands above him as the debris collapsed around him. Rowa felt the debris cover him, looking up to see the two mandalorians watching him before he felt something solid hit him on the head. Then came darkness as the dirt and loose Khyber Crystals covered his unconscious body...

He'd done it now.. L'ewvan's want for a Khyber had led him to pick one up one of the tiny crystals and since then nothing had seemed right leading up to the cave collapse. he still felt the Crystal in his his pocket but now it seemed heavier.
"Im sorry!"
He shouted to Adenn, the mando looked at him;
"Dont apologize! run!"
He turned quickly and ran through the crystals, the small lamp in his hand swinging back and forth, trying not to trip on one of the clusters if gemstones.

Adenn was stopped dead in his tracks when one of the jedi tossed the other aside, the rock collapse seemed too quick to be real but as more stine came down Adenn knew it was a cave in. He ran up to the man whod sacrificed himself, expecting to see little more than a couple of arms or half a face and a smear yet the Jedi was not dead but unconscious and definitely trapped.... and he wasnt a jedi, he was the man whod saved the pack during the gunfight on the wheel! He owed him one.. and he decided that not only would he give him his life but freedom as well!
Adenn began prying rocks away from the pile as more stones began to fall. Adenn began to pull the lad out, wrapping his arms around his Torso and pulling until he finally popped out of the pile... literally... the man would definitely need Medical attention for his leg (most likelt now dislocated) as well as his head and any lacerations and cuts suffered. Rytt moved quickly to throw him over his shoulders and made like a bat out of hell after his Son. He followed L'ewvan's lightsource towards a fork they could not remember. L'ewvan looked atelt him nervously;
"I don't remember where to go!"
Adenn thought hard and decided to take the left Tunnel, L'ewvan following at his heels.
"Im sorry!"
L'ewvan cried as they ran:
"I-I picked up a Khyber!"
he admitted at last, Adenn kept looking ahead.
"Please, I think it might have to do with this cave in and I dont know what to do..."
he continued to yell.
"You need to drop it, now!"
Adenn responded at last. L'ewvan did as he was told and within a few moments the cave in seemed to cease, the Crystals began to sing again and both mandos gave a sigh of relief. Adenn placed Rowa down onto the ground, laying his head on a stone and began giving medical attention while L'ewvan provided light. it was half an hour of first aid, which was well within Adenn's ability but he feared for the man who saved his pack mates. He began to send out a message to the pack over the comms, using the towns uplink as a relay to get out.
"mhi cuyir bat Da'yui'u, Vode, an cuyir pirusti. a Ni ganar trattok'or at nayruba e e'cursr bat Manda'yaim."
[we are on Dantooine, Brothers, all is well. but ive failed to recover any information on Mandalore.]
he turned towards the jedi and hoped hed be ok

So he was gone.

Before the cave-in, she nodded to the Mandalorian's words, her features thoughtful. "We can help, if at all possible, but--"

It all happened too fast, too fast for her to process. He tossed her out of the way, and by the time she turned around to face him, the ceiling had already caved between them.

She sighed, pinching her brow, then shook her head.

"It will never end, will it..."

So saying, she paced away from Oren, her features withdrawn before looking at him.

"I'll find him again. But from now on... I refuse to believe there can be true redemption. There's too much risk for anger, for no change, and he's just proved it."

So saying she walked back to her ship. So much for trying to help.

Rowa's mind slipped into unconsciousness, not even feeling his knee dislocating from the debris. He could slightly feel his numbed body being carried. By whom he hadn't a clue. He felt his mind slip deeper, feeling darkness take him before finding himself standing on a darkened plain. It was night and the stars glittered like the Khyber Crystals, almost illuminating the ground upon which Rowa stood. He looked around, attempting to find his bearings and ascertain where he was and how he got there.

"Ad" came the voice. Rowa snapped his head to turn around, finding the man standing before him. His T-Visor staring back before turning around and walking back. The armor was now clear and resembled the armor of the Mandalorians he saw in the caves. When the man turned around, his blue cape revealed a strange sigil upon its fabric. It felt familiar but remained a mystery to Rowa. He took a step forward, the ground felt strange as he walked after the man.

"Wait!" he called out, chasing after the man as the latter became farther and farther into a gathering mist, "Wait!" Rowa called out again, "Who are you!?" he demanded, only to hear the all too familiar hiss of a lightsaber. He heard screams in the mist and the sounds of slaughter. A sense of dread and terror suddenly gripped Rowa as he kept advancing forward, this time he felt his legs were not of his own control as he marched towards slaughter. When he finally saw the crimson blade of one of his fellow Sith his blood ran cold as he saw the being turn to see him and raise their blade raised to strike him down. "Stop!" he shouted just as the blade came down...

Rowa yanked from his slumber with yelp, groaning in pain as he felt his relocated knee ache after whoever saw to his injuries did their best to fix his knee. He looked over to see not the Jedi, but the Mandalorians huddled near a heat lamp amidst the darkness of the Cave. The Light of the heatlamp now drowning out the glow of the Kyber Crystals that scattered across the walls. When Rowa looked into the other direction he found that the area was darkened by a wall of dirt and crystals in the far distance. It was now becoming obvious to him by how settled that new wall was that they had been staying put for a while now.

"What-" he groaned as he reoriented himself, looking towards the Mandalorians "What happned? Whe-" he felt himself become a bit dizzy, gripping his head and feeling bandages upon his scalp before looking over at the Mandalorians for answers..
