A Haven for the Wayward
In an ambitious move, Max has decided that the Jedi need to focus on ensuring peace, security and health to the Galaxy. Peace and security come about through strength, resilience and force of arms but health is harder for any government or Order to tackle - strength wanes, resilience crumbles and force of arms falls apart when men and women are too injured to push on. As someone who has experienced several medical operations in recent years to keep himself in the fight, Max understands that the Free Galaxy needs to be able to heal both from the day-to-day dangers and from the ongoing battles against Sith aggression.
The Haven-Class Medical Stations were created during the Clone Wars to provide quick, effective, healthcare to both combatants and civilians across the Galaxy. While they have fallen short in some areas since then, they are still mammoth stations dedicated to helping heal wounds and disease of almost all kinds, most simply need to be reactivated or cleared of those who would see their resources and equipment either misused or squandered.
Sent to all senators of the Galactic Senate as an internal message
Sent to all senators of the Galactic Senate as an internal message
"I hope that this message finds you in good health and in good spirits, Senators and Representatives."
The holograph of Max, sat behind his desk in his new office on Yavin IV, would smile slightly out at the politicians he was reaching out to. It was not, at any point, written into the laws of the FWA, New Republic or the Galactic Senate that the Jedi Order had to keep politicians in the loop when it came to their missions. But on this occasion? Max had won the small debate in the Council chambers in favor of full transparency with their fellow sentients across the Galaxy as a show of their dedication to duty and their commitment to being open with the Galaxy.
"In a few hours, the Jedi Order shall begin a small 'campaign' as it were, not directly against the Sith or any other criminal elements in particular but against the damage and dangers that they leave behind in their wake."
He spread his hands slightly, the clearly entirely cybernetic left arm on full display without a hint in the way of explanation or comment. Instead he merely moved right on ahead.
"We shall be engaging local leaders and criminal elements to bring the Haven Medical Stations back online and ready to provide medical services to any within the Galaxy. Not merely citizens represented by the Senate but, in fact, all free sentients within our Galaxy."
Max's smile turned ever so slightly amused as he continued.
"Some may try and oppose us in our mission to ensure affordable healthcare for those who need it; and I assure you that the Order would be delighted to have Rangers either along on the missions or examining our actions after the fact. To ensure that all of this has been done cleanly, legally and with the moral core that the Jedi Order has always striven to show."
He smiled as the holograph would start to end.
"I look forward to debating our success or failure in the senate chambers."
Station Missions
- Kaliida Shoals Medical Center- O-17, close to Naboo. The station is currently owned and operated by Naboo; negotiations would be required with high-ranking Naboo officials to make it open to outside use. DM threads.
- Ord Cestus- O-6, close to Dathomir. Due to proximity to Dathomir, the station is currently housing a violent cult of Night Brothers who managed to reach the station by accidentally calling for an automated medical evacuation on one of the ships left on the planet during Crisis. Open threads due to proximity to Dathomir.
- Ithor- M-6, used during the assault on Mygeeto during the Clone Wars. In FWA space but currently drifting in space with hull damage. Self-DM threads.
- To Start
- @Aspera Qarn & @Jacata Lurel
- Ord Mantell- L-7, spacer hub world. The station is currently not in use as a medical center but as a storage depot for a local freighter tycoon. Self-DM threads.
- Pending
- No Players
- Anison - I-6, stationed over a former hotspot for separatist activities. The station is currently dormant but was sabotaged by separatists, the end of the Clone Wars coming before they could destroy the station. Self-DM threads.
- Illum- G-7, originally stationed close to Illum but moved by the First Order. Teams sent to find it must attempt to find out where the First Order moved it to by slicing into the mainframe of a First Order Star Destroyer that was half-blown to smithereens and left floating in the void. Self-DM threads.
- To Start
- @Poet Severino & @Crix Aran
- Fondor- L-13, currently in use by local government. The local government of Fondor uses the station to treat infectious diseases. Decision must be made if it is even wise to persuade the locals to open it up to receiving infectious disease patients from the rest of the Galaxy. DM threads.
- Nubia- M-11, currently being used as a smugglers base. Liaise with Sector Ranger allies and get the station clear of hostile forces. Five Syndicate players may interrupt. Open threads.
- To Start
- @Aspera Qarn & @Vahn Berand
- Anaxes - L-9, severely damaged by the cataclysm that turned the planet into an asteroid field. Discuss opportunities for investment in repairs with representatives from neighboring planets such as Balmorra, Neimoidia and Chandrilla. DM Threads.
- Javin - K-18, locals are fractured on what to do with the station. Negotiate a peaceful resolution between the human traders who now own most of the planet and the Mugaari people who settled there first. Self-DM Threads.
- To Start
- @Isen Ramm & @Vahn Berand
- Ord Pardron - R-15, asteroid technically. An asteroid base nearby is used by pirates and will need to be pacified in order for the relatively intact station to be brought back online. Self-DM threads.

- No Players
- Spice Terminus- P-18, was originally set up close by the spice space station for ease of access to the raw material for many painkillers. Currently used as a lab to refine spice for legal and non-legal means. Five Syndicate players may object to them being ejected. Open threads.
- Taanab - O-8, orbiting the agricultural world of Taanab. Currently disused but recent transmissions confirm it’s reactors are dangerously close to overloading in a catastrophic manner. Self-DM threads.
- To Start
- @Skade Wulfsbane & @Elias Ryn
- Odik II- K-11, orbiting the planet and close to an old Imperial prison still used by the locals. A break out resulted in the old medical station now playing host to violent criminals; another mission to liaise with Sector Rangers. Self-DM threads.
- Korphir - Q-6, currently being used to treat spacer injuries. However, is also currently monstrously corrupt and this corruption will need to be purged before it can be used as a Galactic health center. Self-DM threads.
- Pending
- @Morndell Avon
The above are guidelines but players have full control over how to tackle each of the above stations; they can take as many threads as you think they need or as few, provided the effort matches the proposed reward. If the mission to secure one station fails organically? Let it. For each station successfully secured by any faction through this series of threads, I will include within a Lore write up on the network of Haven stations as a whole after the pack is complete.
