Vera studied the little fox man intently, his ability to assert himself as a leader was fascinatingly effective however she did not agree with his aggressive demeanour. Perhaps he is trying to compensate for his diminuitive size by asserting dominance through physicality. He IS still adorable though. She was halfway through the door to the training room when she heard a thud behind her. She peered over her shoulder to see one of the group members toppled over obviously in some attempt to escape. Without turning around she called out to him,

"Nice try but we're all in this mess together ."

She continued on inside, her slippers now muffled by the mats laid on the floor as she headed towards the rack of training sabers. She grabbed two of the metal devicds, they were old and most probably defective in some way. It was right about now that she wished she was still asleep on that rigid bed.

Grumbling to himself as Knight Fennex imperiously gestured the group of young Knights into the training room, and knowing that whether he had been noted by his peers or not he was included in their number by the furred grump, junior Knight Baelstra Daro flipped the thin cloth of his sleep robes' hood back from over his montrals and tiredly strode in behind the rest of them into the training room. Trying - and failing- to suppress the smirk from sensing the clumsy nature of the two Knights behind him, Baelstra brushed his hands against the pair of hilts hanging from a woven coral-colored sash decorated with animal teeth and glass beads and looked over the group of restless dreamers. Two, in particular, caught his eye; the loud-mouth klutz accompanied by a droid that seemed to wish her harm, and a young woman clutching the hilt of her ligh... was that a lum-lamp?

Baelstra worried at his bottom lip; his mentor had taught him that to give up an advantage before a fight was nothing more than a good way to get yourself and your allies killed... but this was different. She was not an enemy. This was a training. And he was a Jedi. Whistling sharply to get her attention, the young togruta underhand tossed one of his sabers toward the pale-skinned spitfire and called out, "I found your saber in the hall, spirit-hunter. You should keep a closer eye on your things." While the words may have been taken as mocking, the voice that spoke them was high and clear of any malicious tone. When Alais turned toward him to catch the offered weapon, she would see friendly eyes set above dimpled orange and white hued cheeks and lips hidden from the Amaran knight's gaze mouthing "...Play along, Alais."
