Elara nodded

"Yes, vital bits covered checked. Not very stylish...but I can always find something more personalised later." Elara gives a friendly smile to the Jedi, before turning pensive at his offer

"Yes..I will definitely need help so might as well tell you about it...but.." she looks around and outside the window. Despite probably being relatively safe, Elara wouldn't feel comfortable talking about any kind of mission out in the open.

"Let's find somewhere a tad more quiet. It would be more prudent I think. Come.."

Her tone was friendly rather than commanding. She didn't want to force him after all. She heads outside, assuming Delnor would follow. She gets a quick feel for the surroundings. Not much different from the top levels, except less fancy. Elara decides that finding a quiet spot in a cantina somewhere that didn't look too busy might be a good idea. She walks in a random direction, though her instincts in finding cantinas quickly was always good..One of her few talents she assumes she has. It doesn't take her long to find one, in fact, that has enough customers to make it busy enough that no one would notice a few more people, but not busy enough to call it crowded. Elara confidently walks towards it, not speaking much as of yet. As they enter, they notice it is a relatively plain cantina, nothing special about it. The people around were mostly humans with a few aliens , and were generally sitting in their own small groups here and there. Elara spots an empty table in a corner not far off the bar, but not close to the entrance.

"Perfect, let's take a seat. And if you need anything to drink let me know..Since you offered to help, I am more than happy to oblige" Elara leans back onto the seat, already looking more relaxed or at least giving that appearance.

She takes out a datapad from her rucksack, which she tosses to her side close to the wall, keeping it away from being openly advertised. She'd wait to see if the Jedi needed anything before continuing.

Delnor followed Ellie and though she walked with purpose like she knew where she was going Delnor knew she did not. Still even though she never asked for direction they soon found them self's in a Canteen.

Unlike last time they where not at the bar but sat at a table in the corner. They where far more private and with other people talking and the sound system playing from a old long gone band music they would be a lot more private.

"Thanks for the offer but I wont have any thing heavy. I will let you decided" Delnor leaned back in the couch like chair. It was old but still clean and comfy.

Elara nods, then sighs, and leans foward again.

"So. I cannot remember if I mentioned that my father is a diplomat." She decides to firmly keep the tense in the present, both because she still doesn't think he was dead, and so that she wouldn't show her emotional side too much

"He is responsible for negotiating new business ventures from our home to various different planets. Not major ones as far as I understood, but still the work he does, the way we saw it, was important to keep good relations with other planets, sectors, companies, etc. He was sent all over the galaxy." Elara dismisses a waiter that was coming over to take orders, then continues

"Well mostly around our home sector, with a few contracts in the outer rims. As far as we know anyway, because what the embassy told us...well I'm not convinced they were entirely forthcoming. " Elara's expression turns angry for a brief moment, and her skin flashes a redder shade. She takes a deep breath, and her skin returns the normal pink colour

"The last known contract was to Ryloth. Obviously, when I asked about what it was, they just told me that information is confidential..."

She gives a frustrated sigh.

"Bunch of crap, if you ask me, that you can't even tell a guy's family why he suddenly disappear. Mind you, I was used to him been gone for a while, but not a few months, which turned to six, which turned to a year..."

Despite her trying, her tone becomes increasingly emotional, and she has to take a breath. When she next speaks, her voice is almost broken.

"After a year....my mother gave up. She organised a memorial." It takes Elara a few seconds to dismiss the tears that were forming in her eyes.

"I didn't go." She continues, trying to calm herself. She's not been this open with anyone for a long time. If ever. But she feels like she can trust a Jedi.

"I never believed dad is dead.....They also told us then, only then, that they lost contact with his ship somewhere in the arkanis sector....they presumed, they told me, they were heading to Ryloth. I don't buy it, Delnor...Not for one second..."

She closes her eyes and takes another breath, trying to keep her composure.

"Sorry about this. It just makes me mad the little info they gave us. It makes me suspicious. I think there is something fishy, and I think they know more than they let on.Why wait a year to tell us where the ship disappear? It doesn't add up. But for the moment, I don't have much renown with the rangers so they won't give me any details. I am not going to break into their system, I'm not a criminal. I didn't sign on as a Ranger to act like one. " Elara takes another breath, exhaling deeply.

She isn't even sure what to ask next. In fact she isn't sure what she can do. She takes a few moments to get back to her usual self if she can, before continuing, while maybe looking to the Jedi for some council.

"Not sure what to do to be honest. " She pulls her hair back with one hand, the sadness in her eyes and face evident now.
