Clove took a deep breath in; she was nervous. She wouldn't normally make such a daring move, but today was different. Today she got her Hallowe'en costume—shipped from her parent's house—and she decided she had to take action. And so she sat down in front of her datapad and started recording a message for all the Jedi. Her voice was bubbly and light, but it had a slight edge due to her anxiety.

"Hello Jedi! I hope this message reaches you well, and beforehand; my apologies for the bother. If you are too busy or can not be bothered to do anything, feel free to dismiss this message! This is not a message of any importance or worry!"There was a short pause as if Clove was waiting for the uninterested ones to leave.

"For those who are unaware, Hallowe'en is fast approaching. It's a fun tradition in which you dress up in a costume and have a good time with your friends while eating lots of candy! I was thinking that if we could gather a group of Jedi, we could go to Coruscant; I've heard there will be fun festivities there! We'd be dressed in costumes and disguises, so we'd be safe! However. If Coruscant turns out to be too dangerous, I figured we could have a smaller, more intimate gathering with whoever joins. Jedi Knights and Jedi Masters are very welcome. In fact, I had sort of hoped that there would be Jedi Knights happy to join me so that we can visit Coruscant without any problems. Don't want to break any rules and cause trouble." Her ramble ended in a mumble, followed by a cheerful laugh.

"Let me know how you feel about it, and if you are up for it, and if there are enough people replying I'll send you all the coordinates!"

The half-Sephi made sure that the message was sent through the normal networks of the Jedi Order; the last thing she wanted to do was send a mass message labeled as an emergency. After all, it was supposed to be lighthearted and entertaining, to de-stress the younger Jedi and allow the older Jedi to forget about their worries for an hour or two.

Clove leaned back in the chair in her room after sending the message and waited patiently for a response.

Hallowe'en had never really been a big thing for his friends but hot damn had he and his mom gotten into it back of Coruscant - his mom had often done her best to get time off work to come and celebrate with him and some of the other locals. Crix himself had often found himself limited on costumes based on the fact that he was a Zabrak. There wasn't any racism in the costume design industry directed as his species so much as there were only so many costumes he could realistically do with a head covered in horns.

Stood to reason that hats were kind of a no-go.

But since becoming a Jedi he had discovered a whole range of Hallowe'en costumes he could wear - after all, what could be scarier than a famous Sith from the history of the Jedi? He just needed someone to finish off his costume... he knocked on the door to Clove's room, standing in the hallway waiting.

In his costume.

The hood was kinda hot so he pushed it back as the door opened.

Putting on her mother's costume was difficult; the pink dress had many layers and a heavy corset that refused to cooperate. And who knew curling hair would take an hour? Clove had decided after the fifth curl that she might as well use this to practice her moving meditation, with mixed results.

To her surprise, wearing a petticoat as wide as the door frame made it difficult to put on her shoes. She had just finished lacing her left shoe when she was interrupted by a knock on the door. "One moment!" her high-pitched voice rang out, tinged with panic. Her right shoe was still untouched on the floor. Clove slid her foot as quickly as she could into the right boot before hopping awkwardly towards the door, hoping her heel would correct itself with each new hop and praying she wouldn't trip over the loose laces.

"Happy Hallowe'en!" Clove smiled happily while opening the door. In front of her stood a tall man with iconic black robes, who had lowered his hoodie. Ah, yes, that has to be a Sith! Black robes and all! She hadn't seen a single Sith yet, but she'd learned a lot about them during history lessons. How nice of them to show up!

Wait... A Sith?

The half-Sephi let out a shriek only a second after seeing the man. Clove's instincts took over, and before she knew it, she was running back into her room, where her training lightsaber was hidden beneath a piece of clothing. She'd just thrown the piece of cloth out of the way when she came to a stop. Why would a Sith come knocking? Or even be in the Jedi Temple at all? If there was an attack, surely alarms would be going off by now.

With her eyes thinned she shifted onto her heels and studied the robed figure. It was a costume worn by a Zabrak. Her expression began to soften until all that remained was a sheepish smile. "Nice costume!"

He was reasonably sure that there would be less pink and sweetness involved in an explosion at a marshmallow factory than was on display for him when the door opened and Clove came into view. The fact that her ears were pointed enough to show through her hair and her voice was that high when she asked him to wait? Yeah, he was reasonably certain that she was actually the fairy from the top of a Life Day tree come to life.

Of course before he could respond with a similar greeting, she all but shrieked and threw himself away from him with all due haste. Crix blinked once in silent confusion before his brain kicked in to remind him that he was currently dressed as one of the most feared Sith Lords from the past millennium.

Nice, it worked!

"Happy Hallowe'en."
he told her in response, grinning in a way that showed as many of his teeth as possible, "Thanks! You wouldn't believe how awkward it is to try and apply semi-permanent tattoos to yourself."

Because his pilot droid had steadfastly refused to assist him since it knew the main reason he was dressing up like this was to try and mess with people. Still, he eyed the woman for a moment before pointing.

"Life Day Fairy, right?"
he guessed her costume, "Respect for the amount of pink you're wearing. Fake ears or Sephi?"

Emryc Thorne fans got those fake ears all over the Galaxy these days.

It was easier to appreciate the Zabrak in front of her now that her heart had stopped fluttering in utter panic. It was a very good costume, complete with some impressive body paint. It was no surprise that he had startled her to Korriban and back; he genuinely resembled Sith from the databases. His wide grin, which revealed every single tooth, didn't help. "Wait— you applied those patterns yourself? You did an incredible job. Must've taken you ages!"

Clove opened the door wider for him after a short walk of shame, inviting him into her room. She sat on the edge of a white curved chair afterward to finish lacing her right boot, while listening to him talk. Her eyes lifted up to the Zabrak for a moment, before her hands reached up to her ears, feeling them in thought. Fake ears? She'd seen some recordings of fangirls with fake ears on Mandalore—May the Force be with their souls—and on Coruscant, but had those ears become so common it was normal to ask? Was it possible to buy a pair as well and have four pointy ears? Yes, that'd be a worthy study once Hallowe'en was over.

Blinking her thoughts away, she returned her focus to the Jedi Knight. "Half-Sephi, on my mother's side. She, uh, created the costume! She called it a Sugar Fairy," she paused to giggle, "which I'm pretty sure is just a Life Day Fairy. So you are completely right!"

Clove straightened her back after finishing the little lace loops, and her lips curled back into her signature warm smile. "So! What has brought you here? Hallowe'en, I assume, but you're a little early for any party!" She gestured with her open arms to their surroundings; a white room with almost nothing but plants and herbs growing in front of her window. Between the plants rested small pumpkins and candles that lit up the gradually darkening room. "Also, I believe I've seen you walking around the temple, you are a Jedi Knight, right? I recognize your eyes and horn pattern. But I don't remember ever meeting you properly. So! My name is Clove!"

Some appreciation for applying some make-up manly semi-permanent tattoos to himself? Well Crix hadn't honestly thought he would live to see the day but he was damned glad that someone was finally able to appreciate that sometimes true art needed to use the body (or face) as a canvas! It would have been a lot easier had Red Scooter actually given him the assistance or if Sebastian hadn't thought the whole thing was "dumb".

Stupid salty cyborg... he was dumb...

"It took a little bit yeah."
he admitted with a wide grin, "But hey! Mirrors and the Force are a great combo you know? Given how your hair is done up I figured you'd be used to using the Force to help you prep though?"

He... didn't really get hair really. His mother was a human and she had hair, sure, but Crix himself didn't have any hair on his scalp so he wasn't really sure how people actually took care of it. Though he had made sure to shine his horns when he was nervous before an interview he supposed.

Oh.

The ears were real huh? Embarrassing to be caught out like that actually but, in his defense, the fake ear headbands were selling like hot cakes this close to Hallowe'en as well. She didn't seem to be taking offence to it so he was happy to just move on and take the W for naming her costume.

"Name's Crix Aran - Jedi Knight around these parts."
he introduced himself before grinning an altogether more wicked expression, "Keep a secret right? Masters @Yvain and @Alexandria Voran are both old enough to remember the Clone Wars and the Sith dude I'm dressed up as right? So I'm going to wander through the Temple where they can see me before and after Hallowe'en and try and give them some flashbacks."

Pranks were fun, so sue him.

"Alright then Clove the Sugar Fairy Padawan - wanna help me set up a prank?"

The Force. Yes. That, in fact, would have made curling her hair much easier and could've saved her fingers from burns and blisters. Patience, moving meditation, and the Force all coming together in perfect harmony to form a bundle of throat-burning hair-sprayed curls would've been the right practice as well. She really needed to up her Force game, and quick.

Clove stifled a groan. It was pointless to be upset about something that happened in the past. "Errrrrr, well. I did the curls by hand. With a heating rod. I didn't have the same idea as you! I'm still... training the Force and all that. Anyway, clever of you to use the Force, must've saved a lot of time when you got to the back of your head!"

Crix Aran. The name, albeit faintly, rang a bell. Most Jedi Knights and Jedi Masters' names were whispered through the corridors, especially after a major mission or event. Padawans enjoyed gossiping. Maybe it was in the refectory? Wait. No. The refectory was the gossip hotspot for anything regarding the Holonet. She decided it would be impossible to recall where she had heard his name before, so she softly smiled at him instead. "It's a pleasure to meet you."

While listening to his plan she rose to her feet, kicked her heel against the floor one last time to secure her boot properly, and tilted her head to the left with a thoughtful look in her eyes. Scaring two Jedi Masters who could remember the Clone Wars and, as a result, the Sith he was dressed as? It was bold. Would it hurt the two Masters? Would it put Crix and herself in trouble?

"Clove the Sugar Fairy Padawan." And she was sold.

He couldn't possibly get them into any serious trouble. He was more familiar with these Jedi Masters than she was! And he looked so kind and friendly, if you ignore the make-up. And dark and gloomy robes. And previous wide grin. "Well, Darth Crix, I'd be very happy to help." Clove replied with an excited twitch of her ears. "I have no idea where they are or the details of your prank, so lead the way!"

She was on board?

Really?

Hell yeah! Finally someone on board with his pranks. The last person to help with any of his pranks had been Hannibal and his old Master was too busy doing shady stuff in the edges of space to indulge in pranks on fellow Jedi. Now he pranked Sith with deadly results and that was fun too he supposed.

But harmless pranks on other Jedi were where the true fun was at. Crix reached out and placed a hand atop Clove's head with a wide grin.

"That's the spirit!"
he cheered, "We'll even get to use some Force so you'll be learning as we go - win win, right?"

He held out a hairbrush for her to take.

"Alright come on Sugar Fairy - we're going to replace Alexandria Voran's hairbrush with one with green hair dye set on the bristles."

Thankfully for them, Crix knew the way to Alex's quarters because he'd needed to try and find her for some question or other he had had at the time. She hadn't been there when he checked but he had gotten a chance to see the kind of style hairbrush she used. Alex was probably away from the Temple (she usually was) so Crix led her toward Alex's quarters but he wanted to be safe so he hid around the corner from it.

"It's the third door down. Knock on it and tell me if she's in or not - if she isn't, signal me, yeah?"

The hand resting on the top of her head caused Clove to peek up. Crix looked, and sounded, cheerful. He was happy! She began to smile broadly, until her cheeks pressed against her eyelids, causing her to squint and scrunch up her nose. Any remaining doubt she might have had, had melted away like snow in the sun.

And so, when the hairbrush was given to her, she didn't question it. She was determined to help him.

"Oh! It's a lesson and some fun?! That is a win-win. Alexendria Voran... Hairbrush... Got it!"

Despite being quiet on their way, Clove was anything but peaceful. She was bouncing with every step, although in reality it almost appeared as if she was floating, thanks to her costume. Every now and then she looked up at Crix and his Sith disguise for a moment or two, before looking at the floor ahead of them. Sure, she was trying to map the route they were taking; it's useful to remember the temple's layout. But the thrill of assisting Crix had taken over most of her attention and made it hard to focus.

They had eventually arrived at the corridor in question. Crix had crept around the corner. She wasn't sure if that was the best plan, given that she was the one with the hairbrush, but she didn't bother asking. Instead, she drew her arms behind her back, hiding the hairbrush, and made her way to the third door down.

Clove hesitated as she approached the door. Her heart started pounding in her chest. It was both thrilling and terrifying. What if Alexandria was home? What would she tell the Jedi Master? Then again, she was interested in getting lessons about Force Healing, so perhaps that could be a cover? Or perhaps a harmless Hallowe'en invitation could work?

Let's just do it!

She took a deep breath and reached for the door with her free hand.

Knock knock!

This kid was just a trip - though if she was half-sephi the chance was there that she was actually several decades older than him in terms of years if not in terms of maturity. And wasn't that weird? He might be considered mature by some standards. Clearly the standards were not set by people he had a chance to play some harmless pranks on, naturally.

Plus he was totally going to be teaching her some things with the Force so it was still teaching.

She knocked and... nothing so far.

"Alright Clove - so far so good."
he told her as he approached Alex's door with a lockpicking kit that Hannibal had given him for his birthday one year, "Give me a second, yeah?"

Kneeling down, Crix started the process of unlocking the door to the Councillor's rooms. Luckily locks for residential areas within the Jedi Temple were standardized and, admittedly, rather easy to break through if only because Jedi weren't actually supposed to have a lot of precious possessions to keep locked away.

"What do you know about Force illusions?"
he asked her as the door unlocked and they were admitted into the residential quarters of Alexandria Voran, "You ever managed to 'push' one onto another object?"

He was asked for a good reason after all - Alex wouldn't touch the hairbrush if she could see the dye after all. And he was totally teaching at the same time! Multi-taking if ever there was such a thing.

No answer.

A sigh of relief rolled over Clove's lips. The thought of not having to face Alexandria for the time being calmed her frantic beating heart. That is, until Crix knelt on the floor and began to picklock the door, at which point her heart resumed its previous rhythm. They were going to enter her room. Despite this, Clove simply smiled and trusted Crix as the plan unfolded. And within no time the door swung open. Impressive!

"Hmmm." She stopped for a moment, thinking back about her last year in the order. They've taught her a lot about the bigger picture but had avoided any details, simply because of how much there was to teach. "Well, I've had lessons on the Force. During one of those lessons, they mentioned Force illusion and quickly demonstrated it before moving on! I tried it myself afterward, but I never got much more than a shimmer around my hand."

To demonstrate what she meant, she raised her right hand into the air and focused on the Force. It took her a second or two, but after a squint and another nose scrunch, the air around her hand began to shimmer and change color; it vaguely resembled a blue wave of water rippling through the air, if one squinted their eyes and used some imagination.

Clove expectantly raised her eyes to the Jedi Knight next to her. She never stopped to consider it might've been odd for a rather young-looking Knight to teach her. Or any age-related business for that matter; her family was a mishmash of different ages and maturities. So she never knew any better. And only the Force knew how quickly a half-Sephi matured compared to the average lifespan of a near-human. Maybe she was physically younger than Crix but mentally older. Or maybe the other way around? Whatever the case may have been, none of it mattered to her. Because Crix was the teacher tonight, and she was the student.

"So, how do you shape the illusion properly and project it out?!"

She seemed to be rather concerned by the fact that he was picking the lock but how did she think they were going to get in? Alex wasn't going to just leave her door unlocked even if she didn't have a lot of personal possessions. Probably some healthy paranoia leftover from her time wandering the Galaxy. Thankfully the lock was just a basic one - because she wasn't paranoid enough to be prepared for him!

"Well illusions? Are the karking best."
he assured her with barely any need to exaggerate - the damned technique was actually incredibly useful, "Serious Sugar Fairy, half the time you can avoid a fight altogether with a good illusion and the other half the time you can make combat so much easier."

He reached out with his left hand and created the illusion of a crackling fire around it. It even sounded right - but there was no heat behind it. Seeing her own attempt at an illusion, he nodded a little bit before reaching out and holding her hand to assist her, showing her how the Force moved to create a slightly stronger illusion.

"How the technique works best changes from person to person. For me? It's all about believing the lie, you know?"
he grinned a little bit as he brought their joined hands to the hairbrush, "The hairbrush is fine. Repeat it in your head - aloud if you need to - and when you begin to believe it? Just... relax and push."

Crix grinned.

"Give it a try!"

"Helping out with illusions sounds wonderful! Especially in combat." She could already think of a plethora of uses.

The fire on Crix's hand caught her off guard; it looked real. The lack of heat near the flames was the only sign that something was wrong. Her eyes grew twice as big and filled with wonder as she closely observed the flames. The Force was a truly magical thing... And he wasn't lying, illusions were the karking best.

"Okay, okay! I can do that!" she mused after Crix had shown her the movements of the Force, and explained his method. Clove relaxed her shoulders and began to breathe more deeply. She imagined her thoughts, visualized as black mist, escaping her mouth with each deep breath out, and the Force, visualized as blossom leaves in the wind, entering her mind and body with each deep breath in. She did this until her mind became quiet and she had only one focus left: the hairbrush.

Then came the tricky part. She had to believe in the lie. It is real. It is real. There is no dye on the hairbrush, it is real. It is real. But, no matter how often she told herself, believing their lie got her nowhere. The bristles looked the same as before.

Clove didn't want to give up just yet, so she dug through her previous Force lessons in the hopes of finding some help there, and quickly realized she always got more benefit from visualizing things in her mind. Something like Force Pull on a ball? She had to imagine the Force as a hand grabbing the ball and delivering it to her own hand. Meditations were the same. Maybe that was the key for her?

Motivated by her new realization, the half-Sephi began to visualize their lie; a hairbrush with clean bristles. And when she was ready, she took another deep breath and pushed the vision out of her head and towards the hairbrush. The Force swirled around the bristles. At first, nothing happened, but after a hand full of seconds the appearance of the dye shifted until nothing but a very faint green hue remained.

"Woah!"

The shuttle touched down with a familiar thump, the landing structs bending to accept the weight. Alex walked quickly down the ramp. Exhaustion pulled at the corners of her thoughts. She paused for a moment at the bottom of the ramp, rubbing her eyes. When had she been back to the Temple last? Kriff, she could not remember. It had been Coruscant, then New Alderaan, a few stops in between…Yavin was almost an afterthought. Alex needed to be better. It was important for her to be seen and not when she was about to fall over from exhaustion.

Deep breath. Straighten your back. Head high. She shoved the weariness of her travels aside. Her face became her customary serene mask. Ordinarily, Alex would have let her presence in the Force unfold like a river across the Temple. But today she very much wanted to sleep before attending to any of her duties. While she walked towards her quarters the Morellian Councilor shrunk her aurora and kept her mental barriers iron tight. A few hours of sleep were all she needed. Blessed blessed sleep.

Alex walked in a bit of a haze to her rooms. She nodded politely to those she passed. Finally, the hallway to her quarters stretched before her. Alex noticed nothing amiss until flicking the lock open. Her senses were muted, and she was bone tired. She pushed the door into find Crix and another young Jedi standing in her room, fiddling with her hairbrush. The Force swirled around both of them. Alex flipped through her memories, the Force coming to her aid. She stayed standing in the doorway looking very stern. “Crix, Padawan Vanhoop. Have one of you misplaced your hairbrush? I’m certain we could have found you one outside of my quarters.” Alex finally registered what they were wearing. The Padawan a frilly princess and Crix dressed like a nightmare he did not understand. She took a deep calming breath. “I’m dreaming right? This is a dream? You are not dressed like a Sith Lord rooting around my room.” Her gaze shifted to Clove, her voice soft. “My dear, what has Crix convinced you to do?”

One of the many perks of wearing such a large hooded outfit was that no one could really tell when he jumped because Force be damned, Alex was quiet both in the Force and in the physical world when she wanted to be. However, Crix was not going to just give up because Alex had shown up to stop their prank with the hairbrush.

That one might be a bust but he had planned the Maul one for months at this point and he had done his research. He had also made sure to watch as many holovids and the like about the dead Sith Lord as was possible. With the two of them hunched over her hairbrush, Alex wasn’t able to see their faces directly so Crix whispered to Clove.

“Play along…”

Before Crix stood up straighter than he usually did and the Force of the illusion covered the fact that he wove some of it along himself. Turning to face the Grandmaster of the Jedi, Crix smiled the cruel smile of Darth Maul rather than his own happy smirk.

“Ah Apprentice…” he cooed, a hand clutching possessively at Clove’s shoulder as his eyes flashed their dangerous yellow, “You were right. The Grandmaster of the Jedi Order did come… how the Jedi have fallen since the time of Kenobi…”

Vocal illusions were hard but hey, this was all good fun to pretend to be possessed by the spirit of Darth Maul.

Clove trembled, partially covered by Crix's big robe and her own mane of curly hair. Alexandria snuck up on them, how in the Force did she do it? She'd have heard the door open, right? But neither she nor Crix did, and the Councillor was now right behind them. Clove's heartbeat dropped down her chest and into her churning stomach.

Her ever-busy thoughts grew as silent as the night, unprepared to deal with the abrupt shift of events. As she gazed at the Jedi in Sith robes next to her, her eyes were vacant. With how rapidly her brain shut down, she really looked like she was about to drool.

“Play along…”

Right.
The prank wasn't over. Now that she was ten feet deep into this prank, she couldn't exactly betray Crix. Well. She could have betrayed him, but that didn't make her a good friend. They were friends, right? Plus, he had helped her with her Force! He even taught her something that will help her for the rest of her life, although in an indirect manner. She owed it to him to complete the prank.

With her mind still eerly quiet, Clove reached up for the crown that laid on top of her hair and slipped it down until it sat on top of the bridge of her nose. It morphed into a mask, creating a shadow and obscuring the majority of her already dark eyes. It was time to commit, and trust Crix like before. She followed Crix's lead and turned to face the Councillor.

"Yes. Our plan has worked just fine. They truly have fallen from grace... Pathetic, don't you think, Master?"

Kenobi. The name rang over and over in her mind. Crix was a near perfect approximation of the legendary Darth Maul. She could just see the corners of the illusion. If Alex had not been so annoyed, she would have been very impressed. Such fine control of the Force was difficult to achieve. Of course, Crix managed to rope poor Clove into his irritating scheme. He knew this would grind her gears. She was Grandmaster of the kriffing Jedi Order, and she would not give Crix the satisfaction of seeing her frown. Alex stuck her hand to the side. She worked the Force quickly. Obi-Wan had wielded a perfectly blue blade. “You were foolish to come here Maul, I felt your stink the moment your ship touched down...heard the click clack of your prosthetics.

The illusion blade sprang to life in her hands, the blue blade humming softly. “Master Kenobi should have killed you when he had the chance.” Her feet shifted. Suddenly she was wearing the armor the Old Republic Jedi Generals wore when charging into battle. “And to bring such a silly little girl with you…mistake…” She clicked her tongue and smiled. Her illusion held strong. Might as well have some fun.

Oh Clove was the best little accomplice he could have asked for - not many people would have immediately gone along with his scheme when it went off the rails like this. Well, Hannibal would have been up for this too but, to be fair, Hannibal would have also been guaranteed to be the person who took it too far.

Probably with hundreds of credits being spent on a partially mechanized Grievous suit or something.

Bugger.

The prosthetics, he'd forgotten to add the sound of them. Well, in later years they looked enough like regular legs he could say that they were hidden by his robes he was hoping. He grinned but it was a more feral thing than before, artificially yellowed teeth barred at the Jedi Master.

"And what makes you think you have the strength to succeed where he failed?"
he snarled, "The Dark Side is more powerful than you can possibly imagine!"

He threw out his right hand, his robes billowing with a touch of the Force before he threw himself to his right in an acrobatic spin that, honestly, felt a bit over the top to him but he managed to land it. Landing it with slightly crouched knees, he held a double-bladed lightsaber in his right hand horizontally, both illusionary blades igniting in their blood red manner.

"Circle her, my Apprentice with your prepared weapon!"

The hairbrush with the dye.

"Strike her now and you shall become a true Sith!"

... his throat was starting to hurt. How did this guy talk like this all the time?

Clove's nerves were eased when she saw Crix commit to his role and Alexandria join in with such grace. Thoughts had gradually returned to her mind, and her posture had softened. Instead of stressing, it was time to have some fun!

Her gaze shifted straight down to the hairbrush in her hand, then upward to the two Jedi nearby, both who were capable of altering their entire identities with the Force. Then down at the brush, and back up at them... She made an attempt to copy them through the Force and look as cool as they did! But failed so spectacularly the previous illusion on the hairbrush shattered. Oh. Well. Errr.

No time lingering on that!

"Yes, my Lord!" Clove yelled out in a deeper tone than usual, tightened her grip on the make-believe lightsaber, and began to run towards Alexandria's left side. She almost tripped on her heels, but she recovered with a delighted giggle. Wait, no! No giggles now! We are being serious! She cleared her throat and bent through her knees, ready to strike.

"Anything for the glorious empire of the Sith! I will get unlimited power and destroy the Jedi!" She declared as she pushed her feet against the floor and leapt towards Alexandria's left flank, hairbrush with dye aimed at her shoulder.

Alex stepped farther into the room as “Maul” and his “apprentice” began to circle. Mist began to gather at their feet as she further pushed the bounds of the illusion. As “Maul” landed in a flourish, Alex gave them one of her own. Spinning her illusionary blade in spectacular but completely unnecessary circles. “You shall never know the strength of the Light.” No point holding back now. Her eyes glowed with a soft white light, her very figure shimmering in the room. It danced around her in waves of purity. The illusion blade kept on spinning in beautiful harmony. She spun to face the “apprentice” who charged with her weapon. Obi-Wan had said something when he fought Vader? What had it been? Oh, remember your lessons, Alex. Ah…yes!

“If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possible imagine.” The Morellian Master smiled widely as the brush struck her in the shoulder. She brought every once of her strength in the Force forward. The green streak died her "armor" and Alex disappeared in a poof. Robes and armor falling to the ground. She pressed harder on the illusion, working the Force in a nearly impossible way. She warped light to hide her form, project the illusion and the pop up on the side of the room. Alex appeared as if she had joined the Force. Blue shimmering visage staring down upon them.

“Now you shall never know peace.” She did her best to pull images from her mind. A hastily reconstructed Master Kenobi and Master Yoda appeared at her side…stern gazes leveled at the Sith. Oh, brilliantly done. She smiled. The Force quickly burning through what energy she had left.
