Well Clove’s illusions weren’t strong enough to survive being moved around at speed and that was good to know. He had expected that the excitement of their continued ‘scheme’ and Alex’s involvement in said scheme would mean she had trouble holding the illusion but it was good to know he was right and Clove wasn’t some kind of unsung illusion mistress in training.
Yet.
Crix had a feeling that this was going to be just what Clove needed to truly see just how useful illusions could be. Seeing that the brush was actually going to connect, Crix blinked once before he cottoned onto what it was that Alex was aiming for. Turning into a pile of empty clothes was one hell of a trick and even doing it as an illusion was damned impressive.
Of course then Alex ‘reappeared’ as a spirit alongside Obi-Wan and Yoda. He tried his best but the laugh was bubbling up inside his chest and before he could stop himself he was struggling to keep himself from laughing.
“And peace… peace is a… a lie…hahaha!” he broke out into fits of giggles as he finally let the illusions drop, showing that the physical appearance was actually make up and contact lenses, “What the hell is going on with his eyebrows?!”
He… he honestly hadn’t seen pictures of the older Obi-Wan Kenobi and now that he could see him it was just staggering to him how bad his eyebrows were. Had the man lived in a cave in the desert without human contact for a decade or something? Seriously!
“Oh mercy mercy, Alex… put the caterpillars on his eyes out of their misery.” He joked, waving a hand, “How’s that for teaching eh?”
He winked at Clove.
“Think you got a better understanding for Force Illusions now kid?”
