As soon as her lightsaber made contact Dasi knew she had made a mistake. Her fellow Padawan had never even bothered to activate their lightsaber, she hadn't even bothered to try to dodge it. Dasi immediately deactivated her lightsaber and moved to help Althea up. "I'm sorry, I didn't think you'd just take the hit." As the Watchman ordered her back to her corner Dasi felt apprehension. She should have noticed the other Padawan wasn't ready or willing before she attacked. She disliked fighting, she didn't want to hurt anyone, she was willing to defend herself and the Order had taught her the best way to defend but this was the unfortunate result of learning to fight. Hurting others.

She heard a somewhat more reassuring sound. The familiar whine of one of the training drones. She actually didn't mind these. When she first arrived at the temple and they had begun teaching the new initiates to block them she had actually had an advantage. She already couldn't see, so she hadn't had to rely on blocking without a primary sense in the first place. She had still done just as horribly as the others but at least she hadn't been complaining about not being able to see.

The training drone began orbiting her, the unreadable orb floating there, somehow menacingly for something so simple. Before the drone even fired Dasi's lightsaber was on and moving to block the bolt. Another bolt was fired and she moved to dodge it instead of relying on moving her lightsaber. Technically most people wanted her to block all of them but she felt dodging was just as effective, she just had to be aware that there wasn't anyone else the bolt would hit. Another bolt that she moved to properly block, then another. She was rather surprised that the Watchman would have her do this. Blocking the training drones had almost been a daily ritual.

Althea wasn't feeling a lot of pain, she got hit so many times in that position, that, at the end, she got used to it. «I am fine, thanks.» She smiled at her, but when she heard Master Vaal's words she felt pain: she perfectly knew that she had a bad feeling towards it, she was too hard for her to use the lightsaber, but she knew how important was to learn to use it.

«Struggling?» She said standing up. «It's more complicated, Master Vaal.» Althea said looking down at her lighsaber. She could feel the weight of it every single moment. «As you wish.» She said after a while.

She remembered too well the first time she had to use the lightsaber to protect her and a child from a danger, but she remember even better the life fading from the wild animal and she didn't like at all. From that moment Althea used less and less her lightsaber even if her Master was happy of what she was able to do: the child survived and was able to hug again his parents. She never spoke to her Master about her feelings and emotions and perhaps that was the problem of the struggling with her lightsaber. She had to learn to acept what happened the first time she used her lightsaber, it's own't be the first and the last time.

The Padawan didn't like the situation, but she acepted it and studied the droid in front of her before taking and switching on one blue blade of her saber. She wasn't sure that Master Vaal would reach what he planned for her, in any case she had to start again to get acquainted with her lightsaber once more, or next time might not have been so lucky.

The droid moved from left to right, and only when it was on the center it fired. She wasn't able to block the first hit, but the second one was blocked without problems putting her lightsaber just in front of her.

He closely inspected how each Padawan moved and made a mental note especially with Dasi. He could feel her ease with the change of exercise and noted how her body instinctively reacted to each shot that was fired. The fact that she evaded in lieu of defense was not overseen nor her feelings of surprise. Rennek concluded that the Padawan was comfortable with this training, even proficient than many her age. It was of no surprise. These training drills were hammered through every new entrant and was the basis of a majority of defensive and reflective lightsaber techniques. The Knight extended his open palm towards the locker once again, mentally activating another 2 probes, each one exiting their holster and floating towards Dasi and eventually circling her in more sporadic patterns "Do not get ahead of yourself young one. I sense your comfort and your ease. You think yourself proficient in the fundamentals but-" all three droids now circled the Togrutan, 2 clockwise, 1 opposite. It would have been cruel for all 3 to unleash fire simultaneously and it was a feat even Jedi Knights struggled with. Instead they fired one at a time but in positions that forced Dasi to think and perform on her toes "You will BOTH take this in stride. Very rarely will you, as a Jedi and representative of the Order, be offered the comfort of facing against a single person. And the chances are slim that they will be fighting you in proximity. Blasters and projectiles are the weapons of choice in the Galaxy, and those that wield them usually do so in numbers. And if you are more unfortunate, you will have another life to protect. These elements alone are a task easily performed by even the most trained Padawan, but together a Knight will often be found on the defensive. That is why-" he waved his hand towards Altheas lone probe causing it circle around her faster, the rate of fire also increasing "You must constantly train, and build upon the fundamentals."

Dasi would find her abilities pushed to the limit which would give Rennek enough time to focus on Althea. His blue eyes were fixed on the Togruta, and he took notice on how the lightsaber felt almost alien in her grasp. It was clear she struggled with the weight of the weapon, metaphorically not physically. He had seen this kind of behavior before and it was more or less prominent in Jedi (young and experienced) who had suffered some sort of trauma. This kind of healing was beyond his abilities and all he could offer was sound advice. With another wave of his hand he shut down the training drone, causing it to cease its attack on Althea. He approached her, resting a hand on her shoulder and signalling her to take a seat "Is it something you want to talk about?"

In about five seconds Dasi's opinion of the gruff master had changed from likeable to the worst Master at the temple. Hands down. One probe was easy, two probes was beginning to break a sweat, the third however was a massive jump up in difficulty for anyone. Where two she could deflect one and evade the other with three she now had to plan so many moves ahead, and she didn't know what her moves would actually be. One probe fired and she deflected it, the second fired and she did a back flip to evade it. She was finding it difficult to rely on the force now. She almost missed the warning for the third one but managed to deflect at the last second. The first one fired again and her lightsaber wasn't moving fast enough. She juked just in time for the second to fire and hit her in the spine. By the force that hurt. The young Togrutan flinched from the minor shock, giving another probe droid a clean shot into her arm.

"Aaah!" Dasi felt that one. She took it back, he wasn't the worst Master at the temple. He was the worst in Jedi history. She felt her arm begin to go numb and she let it drop to her side, letting it slow her down would only make it so she got hit more. The probe droids continued to hover ominously for a moment which Dasi took to wipe sweat off her face. She circled slowly, keeping one probe droid in front of her and the other two in her thoughts as they continued their orbits. One began firing and she deflected it, anticipating one of the others to fire moved her lightsaber to block the path of one if it fired and focused her attention on the third probe. She took a hit to her leg this time. The first probe droid had decided to go twice instead of letting her wonderful plan work. Naturally now that she had been hit once the other two took the opportunity to fire, she took a hit to the same arm as before while the other lined up an almost perfect shot for one of her lekku.

"I'm going to throw these into a wall." She grabbed her lekku, gently rubbing it to soothe the pain before the droids fired again. Dasi took a deep breath as she resumed her combat stance, once again keeping herself faced towards one of the probe droids orbiting her. Aware of the fact that they wouldn't simply fire in an easy to follow order she tried to keep her attention split on all three equally. This was not going to be a fun training session. Eventually she would fall into a rhythm. Block, evade, eventually get hit in someplace that wasn't sensitive.

Althea looked at the drone moving away from her and joining the fight with Dasi. «I am sorry.» She sighed bowing her head as a sign of surrender. She switched off the lightsaber, but whe she felt the touch of Master Vaal on her shoulder, she made some steps back. She didn't like to be touched and she was beginning to think that she was the black sheep of the Order.

She looked at Dasi being hit from the drones feeling guilty for the increasing of her training. «Something I want to speak?» Of course, as before, he understood that there was something wrong. «I... I don't know Master Vaal.» She sat on the floor crossing her legs. She took some deep breaths before looking up at him. «But I think you want to know what's going on between me and my lightsaber. I remember when I created this particular one, I was so happy, it was before I discovered my skills, my healing abilty. I was a good fighter, but everything changed when I was sent on a mission about three years ago.»

She never spoke about all this, ti was really hard for her to remember all the events. «I was sent with some younglings to find their first crystal, everything was going well, when before reaching the cave we have been attacked big some beasts, I think there were some cubs somewhere. A youngling and I, we were divided from the others and I had to fight.» She stopped to speak looking at Dasi for a long moment. «I... Think I need to go back to the training.» She sighed taking her lightsaber between her hands. «I am ready.» Althea smiled at Master Vaal. «So, should I continue with the training droid?»

She pointed one of the droids that were fighting agains Dasi . «I think I need to improve my fighting skills, a day I may need it again, don't you think so Master Vaal?»

As he was talking to Althea he sensed the frustration slowly building within Dasi as she fell into a systematic rhythm of blocking and evading before failing to act on the third strike. Each turn she recycled the action until her pent up emotions seeped through the cracks of her psyche, eventually prompting Rennek to halt his conversation with Althea as his voice directed itself towards the other Torguta "PADAWAN-" his voice echoed throughout the arena. He waved his hand once again, the force manipulating the simple activation switches on the probes which changed their pattern and behavior. Each one ceased its strategy and floated passively. The Watchman continued his advice "You are expending too much energy in your movements. Slow your pace and allow yourself to breath. Exert your concentration and expand your mental field beyond its comfort. You have a rare gift of observation, yet you make similar mistakes to those with sight. Feel the subtle movements around you, the delicate shifts in energy. Now try again and keep your wits about you. I do not need to lecture you on the dangers of raw emotion."

Rennek manipulated the switches within the probes with the Force, changing their engagement protocols once again. Their behavior changed and they circled the Padawan in the same manner as they did before. Two rotated clockwise while the other followed the opposite path. The drones would change their altitude through their programmed patterns, dropping to chest height then floating higher, alternating between the two with each shot.

His attention once again turned to Althea, prompting her to pick up where she left off. Her story was not one unfamiliar to him. In fact it was more common than most believed. Rennek himself had experienced a similar scenario though the conclusion played out slightly different. His sigh matched hers as he carefully chose his next words "We all face our own trials and tribulations when first walking the path young one. What separates us is not how we deal with these difficulties, but rather admitting them and moving forward. Use that experience as a learning curve and grow from it. Don't deny or conceal it. Such things consume even the purest of hearts." His gaze dropped to her hands as she gripped her lightsaber tightly "And you misunderstand the purpose of this training. I am not instructing you on lessons of combat, bur rather defense. As a Jedi you will be called upon to protect those under the Orders banner of protection, and those who fall short of it. Your forte may not be in the martial arts, but it is a necessary skill for those who strive to uphold our mandate both locally and abroad. Don't be discouraged on your shortcomings. We all have them."

"Yes Master." The young Togruta took a very deep breath, pushing out the more negative emotions she was feeling as she exhaled. She could feel her mind falling once again into the place where she could feel the force flowing through her. She settled her attention through the force on keeping her focus now equal between the three probes, instead of almost ignoring the one in front of her. She also stood still now, instead of keeping her lightsaber ready to block one of the probes. The young Togruta felt through the force, watching the subtle movements in her environment. She felt a shift in energy from one of the probe droids, before it could fire she had moved her lightsaber to block the blast. Almost immediately after that she felt another one preparing to fire. She pivoted on her front foot, bring herself to face the threat while her lightsaber moved ahead to block. Another shift of energy, as soon as the second blast had been blocked by her lightsaber she pushed off of her front foot and pivoted, now facing the new threat. She blocked it and let herself gloat to herself a little as she maneuvered towards the next threat.

Dasi continued her exercise for a bit longer. She could feel her movements become more sluggish as she continued to block. Her movements were to extreme, not conservative enough. She moved to block another blast but her lightsaber moved to slow. Another shot to the lekku. She grit her teeth and tightened her grip on her lightsaber as she continued blocking. She began to work on fixing her movements. She began to move the bare minimum to block a blast instead of turning entirely to face them. She was still beginning to tire however and the probe droids continued to relentlessly pound on the Padawan. She could feel her lungs start to burn and her arms and legs start to protest, her breathing becoming sporadic. She recalled lessons from classes earlier and focused on controlling her breathing. What had likely been only a few minutes soon began to feel like hours. Dasi refused to surrender however, she wouldn't give reason for Master Vaal to feel she wasn't ready to go with him.

«No, Master Vaal, to be separated by the others wasn't the wrost thing. I did other missions, but...» She sighed stanging put with her lightsaber on her right hand. «I didn't tell you the full story: I felt the female beast dying, I felt every single heart beat, every single breath and everysingle beat coming from the child she was carrying. I could feel the noise of her heart in my ears. I felt them dying and I saw the sadness that mother had in her eyes just few second before dying. The beast was sad because she wans't able to protect her baby and the other cubs not far from us. I don't know what happened to them.»

It was difficult to keep a normal voice, but it was hard, she could feel the trembling. She didn't care if Master Vaal could feel it too, now she didn't want to think. «Defence, yes.» She nodded without convinction. «I am ready, Master Vaal.»

Althea remembered how happy was the youngling and what he said to her: she became an hero for him because she saved his life, but she didn't feel like an hero. Luckly Althead had no beast's blood on her clothes.

After the attack they reached the cave and all the younglings came back with a new crystals. Everything proceeded like nothing had happened. This was another thing hard to understand for her, but in some way she accepted it.

«Ready.» Althea switched on her lightsaber, just one blade as before. She looked back again to Dasi and to the droids waiting to being reached by one of them.

Rennek understood Altheas plight. It was one many Padawan, including himself, faced in their trials to becoming a Knight. He turned to Dasi, noticing her focus for calm despite the odds staked against her. He was impressed with her growth in the small time he had known her. It showed him she'd adapt to the unpredictability of being a Watchman for the Order. He closed his eyes and extended his mental tendrils through the Force, deactivating the training probes which rotated around her "Very good Padawan Dasi. This exercise was not designed for you to overcome, nor was victory assured. What I tested YOU on was your ability to recognize your own limitations and in turn surpass them. You did well. Take a breath and regain your composure." His attention switched to the other Togruta in his company and he offered her a nod paired with a slight smile "That is the hardest lesson of all. As a Jedi of the Order we are expected to be peacekeepers and our unique abilities have surrounded us in stigma. Many expect us to defy insurmountable odds and save every life around us. Needless to say that kind of expectation can be a weighty burden. What YOU must understand Padawan Althea is that death is a necessary part of life and the Force. It occurs all around us. To deny the end of lifes cycle is abnormal. Death induces decay, and decay lays the foundation for new life. This we must respect. Do you understand?" He could feel her uncertainty, it radiated from her like perfume. But to scorn her was ill advised and unwarranted. All her could do as her senior is reassure her.

He activated the probe to rotate around her once again, jets of pressurized air shooting from various outlets on its spherical shape to rapidly change its trajectory. This time its firing pattern slowed, allowing the Torguta to acclimatize to its movement and pattern. It fell back, increasing the distance between the two before firing a single bolt of low powered energy towards her shoulder before propelling to her right, unleashing another shot towards the opposite shoulder. Rennek left her to her training, making his way towards Dasi who was catching her breath "As you may have heard, our ancient nemisis the Sith have made their presence known in the Galaxy. And with their unveiling comes a new set of challenges for us who keep watch over sectors. I need to know how you handle yourself in close combat. This time-" he pulled a cross guard hilt from his belt, its handle protruding 2 opposite guards lined with cortosis. Unlike other sabers of its design it did not rely on energy vents to act as a handguard, instead it was designed to resemble its archaic predecessors with the guard consisting of the hilt itself. "I will be your opponent. This is not a test of merit, let me be perfectly clear on that. You have already secured a place under my tutelage. I simply need to know the extent of your ability so I can train you accordingly" he walked to the opposite end of the arena with his unactivated hilt in hand, his stance widening to signify his use of the Vogar stance. He would wait for the Padawan to make the first move. As the spar unfolded he would tutor her.

As soon as the probes turned off Dasi fell to her knees. She could feel her heart trying to evacuate her chest and her lungs were on fire. She could feel sweat dripping from her face to the floor. She took a moment trying to control her breath before she got back up to her feet and raised her arms up and grabbed her montrals to keep them from falling back to her side. She didn't know why she had been told to keep her arms up after a workout but she did it all the same, it certainly couldn't hurt. She stepped over to the side of the arena where her pack was and grabbed her water, it was warm after sitting all day but it was probably the best water in the temple at that moment. She took a moment to sit down and listen to the grumpy Jedi's speech.

The young Togruta was intrigued when the Master pulled out his lightsaber. She looked it over in the force curious about the physical cross guard. She had heard about them before, she had never... focused? on one however. She wondered how it would effect the fight. "I am ready when you are Master Vaal." She took her time to walk to her spot on the other side of the arena, using it to catch her breath. She could sense the older Jedi dropping into his stance and she activated her lightsaber, curious at how he hadn't even bothered to activate it. The young Togruta took a deep breath and assumed her own. This time she opted for an even more aggressive stance before moving up on the Knight, lightsaber held above her right shoulder ready to strike. As she approached she cut downward but purposely brought it far to short to actually hit the knight, then she went for the stab to his chest.

Althea looked at the Master moving away to fight with Dasi. She made a sad smile. «And then they ask me why I never speak, I recieve always the same answers.» She whispered before looking at the training droid.

She was starting to be happy that her Master was away, in any case she won't recieve help from him. There was a time she thought to leave the Jedi Temple, but she didn't know where to go, that was the only thing that held her back. She was so frustated sometimes.

The droid approached her and started to attack her soon, she had to focus on this even if she didn't care about the pain she could have if she got hit. Alteha looked the droind moving left and then fiering, it was easy to parry the blow.

She sighed trying to focusing more, even if it was difficult.

He watched as Dasi slid into her opening stance with blade held around her upper body, a position used to take advantage of physical strength as it drew power from a persons natural leverage and weight. She advanced and purposely drew short her falling slash, ensuring it missed Rennek in order to set up a following attack. Having sensed her deception the Watchman merely stepped back, allowing the arc to complete its descent while bringing his hilt to his chest. When the padawan lunged the tip of her weapon to his torso he used the physical crossguard of his hilt to push her viridian blade across and above his shoulder, the light hum of energy ringing in his left ear. Rennek pushed the blade away to his side then moved his inactivated lightsaber so that its emitter now pointed in Dasis direction, more specifically the space between her left shoulder and ear. As his weapon was retracted, and there was no extended blade to maneuver around, he was able to swiftly manipulate his position without fear of striking himself. With a quick flick of his right thumb he ignited his lemon saber, its energy length immediately shooting from its barrel "Do you know the one unique quality a lightsaber has above all other melee weapons?" he quickly moved his hand and hilt towards his right which motioned the blade towards her neck. As it came close to her luminous skin Rennek disengaged his lightsaber, ceasing its energy source and retracting the yellow blade to its crossguard hilt.

He stepped back once again and grasped the weapons handle with both hands, pointing it towards Dasi with his leading foot sliding back. This was the traditional stance of Vogar and a stance that separated from the VII traditional forms of lightsaber combat that focused on those who wielded the crossguard variant. He ignited the blade once again "A lightsaber can instantly be withdrawn or erected from its hilt. You can throw an opponents momentum by disengaging your blade with favorable timing. One may expect for you to collide your weapon with their own, and in turn they prepare for a collision by throwing more weight into their attack. But if you were to deny them that expectation by withdrawing your blade, they leave themselves open to a preemptive attack. In times of old they called this tactic of fighting 'Trakata'. Lets see how you adapt to this Padawan."

As usual Rennek gave Dasi ill reprieve as stepped right and forward, pulling his arms in so he could summon sufficient leverage to slash from left to right, aiming his blade to cut from the Padawans left shoulder to right shoulder. Before the match started he lowered the energy supply to his lightsaber, causing its blade to cause very minimal damage.

The young Padawan had decided to proceed more carefully against her opponent. The knight had not only blocked her blow without activating his lightsaber he had moved it into position where he could have easily removed an appendage or two and activated his lightsaber. She could easily feel the massive amount of energy being contained just a few inches from her neck and the hum of his lightsaber was almost deafening. The young Togruta was suddenly aware that if the Knight had wanted to kill her she would have stood no chance whatsoever. A very powerful lesson indeed on taking advantage of the unique characteristics of a lightsaber.

As he stepped back and assumed his own stance the young Togruta she realized she would have to swap strategies. She had planned on being aggressive but careful. Avoid swings that would provide him energy with which to redirect towards her but that was proving to be a potentially fatal strategy. She needed to ensure she controlled the momentum of his lightsaber. As the grumpy Jedi swung his own lightsaber to mock separate her head from the left side the young Padawan opted to duck beneath the strike. Not usually a strategy she would pick but if the Knight was going to play dirty by deactivating his lightsaber she wasn't going to bother trying to block a strike that would just end up going poorly for her.

As the momentum from the strike would keep him going past the Togruta took her chances getting in as close as possible to the Jedi. Normally getting into grappling range with a man nearly a foot taller then her would be a very poor decision but in this case she felt it was her only real option. She would need to keep him light on his feet. She did a quick flick of her wrists upward, she was far to close to try and swing with her arms. Her swing if he didn't block it would likely hit him somewhere most people would have preferred not to not get hit.

Evasion Roll Unsuccessful - She was fast, despite what many could consider a disability. His blade passed over Dasi as she knelt down, springing forward to steal the distance his stance required. With a flick of her wrist her hued blade threatened to sever him up the nether regions. If it were set to its standard power output it would no doubt cleave him in two. Thankfully he'd advised caution at the beginning of the session. Were he better prepared he could have performed one of the limited evasion techniques within he Vogars repertoire by almost cartwheeling with the strikes upper momentum. But he was getting old, and he'd mistaken the Padawan as inexperienced. His right hand released its grasp of the hilt and with his left he arced the amber blade down, in a clockwise motion that aimed to swat the rising threat aside. Simultaneously he launched off his left leg to assist in the redirection.

In his younger years the Watchman would have used the opening to strike a counter attack. Years had shaped him a somewhat more wiser man, caution and observation his ally. Instead Rennek stepped back, the tip of his lightsaber pointing directly at her with the two physical crossguards lining with the squares of his shoulders. His leading foot stepped forward as he mentally drew a line in the sand, determined to keep her on the opposing side. But she was nimble, and capable of seeing things most couldn't. The eyes truly did deceive.

"You move well" the Jedi Knights gazed was fixed on her entirely. With the appropriate amount of training and guidance, she had the potential to be a step above the benchmark. Watchman usually travel alone. But with the increasing threat, especially in my Sector, I'll need someone who can hold their own."

As the old man managed to dodge and swat her lightsaber out of the way last second Dasi took advantage of the momentum the Knight had just imparted to her own blade to bring her own back around to the front. She almost decided to try and press the attack but as soon as she sensed him moved the blade forward and aimed at her to create distance she decided that was a poor idea. "Thank you Master. I look forward to learning whatever I can from you."

The young Togruta was hesitant to attack first once again but she saw no choice. If she let Master Vaal decide how the fight would play out she would likely be dead, she needed a solution. She decided on a somewhat riskier option. She swung from a low position counterclockwise batting aside the amber blade. Anticipating him using the momentum to come back and strike her the young Togruta decided to once again move forward and try to strike him in the gut with the hilt of her lightsaber. It wasn't meant to be a "Killing" blow but she knew she wouldn't have time to try and bring her own lightsaber back around to swing again.

Youth. They were truly a marvel. He almost envied the vigor which ran through her veins, a byproduct of natural vitality. Where the older man held back and conserved, Dasi sprung forth and initiated while her slender body allowed her to perform swifter strikes. She battered his blade aside with a quick direction, stepping inside his zone to deliver another a blunt blow to his abdomen. This time he was prepared. Rather than allow her the advantage, Rennek dug deep with his leading foot and stepped wide with the redirection.

He twisted his upper body around towards Dasi, his arms pulling the weightless blade to slice the Padawan from her right shoulder to her left hip. The one thing he did notice was her proficiency in vision through the Force. Whether she evaded, blocked, locked or redirected he would comment "Your sight serves you well Padawan"

Despite the fact that he was old and slower Dasi was realizing she was very outclassed when it came to skill. Instead of backing up again the grump had stepped wide giving him enough range to swing at her but also giving her no where to move except away, and at the distance she was she was incredibly sure that she couldn't dodge back. She thought about raising her saber to block the attack but wasn't sure her stance would be solid enough to actually block.

The young Togruta opted to try and instead slide in and beneath the lightsaber. Sliding out her right foot while pushing off with her left but tripped instead when her foot encountered Vaal's. She managed to avoid the lightsaber but ended up on the floor with her left hand barely stopping her face from colliding face first. She rolled over to face the Knight lightsaber held out in front of her waiting for his attack.

LOCATION: Ajan Kloss, Jedi Training Grounds
STATUS: Overseeing Training

Despite the fact Dasi had failed in the finesse of her evasion, she had managed to slip under his attack once again before falling back in preparation. With the flick of his thumb he retracted the yellow blade back into its hilt, returning the metallic handle to its clip on his waist. He inhaled deep, his lungs filling with fresh oxygen before expelling the breath "If the upkeep on your training is vigilant, I dear say you'll best me in swordsmanship in no time." He turned his attention to Althea, signalling her to cease her training then bowing his head to signify her thanks. Renneks blue gaze switched back to Dasi "It's time we moved on. Gather your things Padawan and meet me at my shuttle. R3 will direct you to your new quarters while under my supervision. Say goodbye to anyone you deem necessary. We won't be returning for a few months." With that said he casually made his way towards the hangar bay, ready to leave Ajan Kloss and embark towards the Arkanis Sector.

Once he escaped watchful eyes he rubbed his inner thigh. It appeared one of Dasis strikes had grazed him in their spar. He gasped a sigh of relief, knowing all to well the consequences if it were a real encounter. Much like the Padawan, he himself had to keep his skills sharpened. Those within his Sector provided little need for exertion and he often relied on his mediocre use of the Force along with sub par blade skills. But with the rise of the Sith he'd need to hone his abilities. They were not as lenient as bandits or slavers.

Althea shook her head trying to remember where she was. She looked around when she heard Dasi and Vaal voices. Nothing changed, she was still in the Temple with them fighting together.

She just hoped that she didn't miss something important. She didn't move, she stayed quiet studying the two Jedi and bowed her head before smiling and saying. «May the Force be with you both, and thanks for the training Master Vaal.»

Althea looked them for few seconds before moving away, she felt the urgence to move, but she didn0t understood where or why. She decied to follow the Force for once.

The young Padawan deactivated her own lightsaber as she heard Master Vaal's own deactivate. That was the end of the bout. She took a deep breath and rose to her feet as he told her to grab her things and head to his ship. She gave him a bow as he turned and left and she grabbed her own bag. Grabbing her own boots she quickly slipped her feet into them and laced them up nice and tight. She gave a wave to the other Padawan as she headed out. "Good luck! Keep practicing. I'm sure you'll do great." He had told her to say goodbye to her friends so she headed down to the kitchen first where she gave the cook a hug. She was going to miss the food at the temple. "I'm finally leaving the temple! I'm going to miss your cooking." The cook slipped her a few treats as she headed back out to the hangar to meet up with the Watchman.

As she stepped into the hangar one of the supervisors recognized her and moved to head her off. "And where do we think we're going Padawan?" The young Jedi almost felt defiant as she spoke. "I have been assigned to a Watchman for while. I shall be travelling with him and learning what it means to be a Watchman, I finally get to leave the temple." She stepped past the supervisor as she found the ship and stepped up the ramp where a droid led her to the escape pod that would be her room. Once there she sat down and took a measure of the space that would be hers for a while. She smiled as she laid out the contents of her pack in a neat and orderly manner across the pod.
