Hera's concerns about the police showing up soon turned out to be justified as hovercar sirens were beginning to become louder and louder as the cops began closing in on the warehouse.

Drow and Tric continued to make their way into the warehouse where they dispatched a few Sullustans hurriedly trying to dump their spice before the cops arrived. As they moved, Drow couldn't help but be more assured that Tric was the right choice for Temple Security Captain. His long combat experience would prove invaluable if a foe were ever to attack and watching him deal with thugs with cold efficiency highlighted the fact that old age had done nothing to dull the old Abednedo's instincts. Plus, the fact that Tric had even tracked down this gang's hideout on a world as tough as Corellia just showed that he still didn't miss a beat.

As they made their way further into the warehouse, they'd meet up with Lian and Drastus who had also made quick work of the thugs they'd encountered.

"We took out some thugs trying to flush the spice down the drain. With how many of these jokers we've knocked out and all the kilos of spice here, the cops should have no problem putting most of the Yelkarin behind bars. And paying me my reward too!" Tric said with a little wink at the end.

"Still no sign of that E-Web though..." Drow mused. As of the god of comedic timing was listening in on that very conversation, one of the doors burst open in the common room and a very large Sullustan pushing an E-Web on a hovercart stormed in, accompanied by two tough looking Human thugs.

"Who dares enter the home of the Yelkarin!?!?!" the giant Sullustan spat angrily, spraying the upper walkway Drastus and Lian were on with laserfire. Below on the floor of the common room itself, the two Humans charged at Drow and Tric, one brandishing twin vibroswords and the other hefting a ginormous vibroaxe.

Drastus cursed as the E-web opened up on him and Lian, though he figured his Knight companion would be just fine with deflecting, he didn't have a fancy laser sword, so booked it he did. "I got a plan!" Sprinting, he would allow the Force to flow through him, increasing his speed before he flung himself over the railing and to the floor below.

It could have been a happy landing, but he could only get so lucky. There was a crack in his knee at the land, followed by a slight wince before he rolled behind some steel crates for cover. He would circle the stacks and find the E-web focused on Lian, man was he so good at deflecting bolts. Breaking from his cover behind the Sullustan, he would slide on his bad knee, dragging his blade against the backs of the gunners knees. Knee pains for everyone!

Where is that blasted E-We-- A loud crash broke his train of thought, and Lian spun on his heel to look over the other side of the walkway - where, as luck would have it, he finally spotted the E-Web. It just so happened it was pointing right at him, too. ... really need to be more careful with what I wish for.

His saber ignited immediately as the E-Web opened up on the walkway, and Lian closed the distance between Drastus and himself. He was able to deflect the hail of blaster fire - at least for a time - but Drastus almost certainly could not, which meant it fell to him to take most of the fire and cover the Padawan. Thankfully, Drastus was able to sprint off. He had a plan, apparently, which was good. Lian did not. Instead, he rooted himself in position on the walkway and kept his blade tight to his body, one of the core tenents of the Mynock Form. The E-Web wasn't especially accurate, and most bolts breezed past him, with those that were on-target being swatted aside in smooth, controlled motions of the lightsaber. I can keep this up all day!

Thankfully, however, it did not seem as though he would have to keep it up all that long. Drastus had a plan afterall, and the Sullistan cried out in pain at the slice across the back of his knee, which offered Lian some respite from the hail of blaster fire. Siezing his chance, Lian lept forward from the walkway to land gracefully below with more luck than the Padawan.

Extending his left arm forward forcefully, Lian felt a blast of power leave his fingertips as he directed a push of the force towards the large Sullistan only just recovering from the painful gash across the backs of his legs. With any luck, the Sullistan would hit his head, and they could focus their attention on the other aggressors.

OOC: Wrapping this up seeing as how thing's are mostly finished and it's been awhile.

Drastus and Lian were able to effectively work together to dilute the threat of the E-Web and stop the Yelkarin gang leader. He yowled and hollered at the pain from his knees and was struggling to get up when Lian sent his head careening into a metal rack behind him, knocking him out cold.

The two Human thugs were now the only aggressors left and with a stun blast from Tric and a legsweep from Drow, they too were swiftly dealt with. The roar of the police sirens had gotten louder and was now joined by the sounds of boots on the ground as local Corellian security forces stormed in and secured the warehouse.

Some time passed as they went about collecting statements and rounding up the Yelkarin prisoners. The Jedi and Tric had given them a slam dunk of a case. Drugs at the scene, illegal blasters hidden in their warehouse, and many sworn members at the same place? It didn't get much better than that for Corellian police so they gratefully handed Tric the reward.

"That about set you up for retirement?" Drow asked his old Abednedo friend sarcastically. Tric laughed as he pocketed the credits.

"Enough to set me up with a cushy little gig somewhere on Yavin, was it? Care to give an old gunslinger a ride over there?" the Abednedo asked. Drow chuckled and clapped Tric on the shoulder. The Temple had their security captain. And a good one at that.
