For a man who spent so much time paying attention to the small details around him, the fact that Laeonas failed to notice the very obvious change in his "friend's" demeanor was... well, incredibly short sighted. Much like his previous comment. It was only when Laeonas paid his redheaded dinner partner more than a passing glass that he noticed the twisted look of rage on his face. He opened his mouth to say something, but before he could, the man went off. Laeonas stared at him wide eyed as he spoke about his people's culture, his homeworld-- all things that the Brentaalan hadn't given much thought to, yet had simply written off as "backwards."

"Senin, th'a-" He'd try and interject, but the G'weneese man simply continued on. Laeonas' mouth hung agape as the man threw insults at him, criticisms of what he'd said. Criticisms about how he'd played into the same narratives as other, scummier people. It was when Senin alleged that he was a human supremacist that Laeonas finally gave a loud "STOP!" as his fist slammed into the table. While the redhead's look was one of fury, Laeonas' was a mixture of confusion, regret, and increasingly, frustration.

"Ai don't-- Ai ain't got a problem with non human bein's! Karkin' 'ell, 'alf tha people Ai grew up livin' next ta weren't human!" He snapped, angrily rebuffing the most egregious of accusations. "Yer not a savage, Ai... Ai don't know why Ai said th'at. Ai wasn't... Ai wasn't thinkin'." He conceded, looking down at his menu with a shameful look. "Ai just... Ai grew up on stories about 'ow shite tha rim is, 'ow tha people out there're backwards." The man confessed, frowning and focusing his attention down at the menu.

"Th'at wasn't... th'at was a... Ai'm..." he'd stammer, trying to force out an apology. "Itain'trighttacallyerolepeopleabunchofmaneaters!" Laeonas exclaimed, the words coming out as an incomprehensible slurry. "Damnit... Ai'm just tryna say th'at cause yer people don't laike ta wear clothes and dance laike a bunch of nutters, yer not-- KRIFF, this is just makin' it worse!" The man said with a groan, slamming his face into the menu and letting out a groan.

The food that had arrived was placed, the waiter knowing better than to interject. Laeonas couldn't even bring himself to look at the man after what he'd said. It took a few more seconds, but he'd finally eek out an
"Ai didn't mean ta sound laike a bigot." That he knew the word might have been a surprise to the redhead. "...Ai can be a moron sometimes." He finished, looking at his dish, and than at the man. "Ai'll understand if ya don't wanna be mae friend anymore."

Senin would stop his rant when Laeonas screamed and hit the table. This action attracted the attention of the people that were seated at nearby tables, all turned to look at them. It probably would make someone be ashamed, but the Acolyte didn't care. He was too furious with the prejudiced way that the older man referred to his planet and culture to even care with what the others would think.

While Laeonas talked, Senin controlled himself to not interrupt the older man. It was obvious for him that the Brentaalan was trying to apologize, but the young man was a Sith Acolyte. And the Sith wasn’t exactly the type to forgive something so easily, at least he wasn't.

Taking a deep breath, the young man looked directly at Laeonas' eyes. "There are many Outer Rim Worlds that are well developed and full of culture." If it was anyone else, he would probably have cut relations with the person. But he felt that the other was being sincere. And the opportunity for him to have more nights with the other man also was another incentive for him to forgive the other.

"I also grew up with stories about how the people of the Core Worlds are elitist, human supremacists and prejudiced, never caring for us from the Outer Rim." he explained to Laeonas. "You talking this way made me think that these stories were true."

Senin stretched his arm, so his hands were covering Laeonas' one over the table. He had decided to adopt a sad demeanor, wanting to make the man feel a bit more guilty. A small punishment for his comment "I still want to be your friend, but don’t say things like that anymore. It's offensive and painful." he said with a sad tone in his voice. "One day, I'll make you visit G'wenee. Then you will see how we really are."

After this conversation, Senin started to eat the food. As he expected, it was delicious. While they eat, the Acolyte would remain in silence. However, he would soon become uncomfortable with it. "We need to make a plan for our investigation. We already know that the best place to start is at the hospital, but we need to find who we should approach to talk about it. Preferably someone that accepts money." he said to the older man, his voice was low, he didn't want anyone else to hear. "Do you have any idea?"

"Ai KNOW. Ai've BEEN THERE." he'd immediately reply. Like the redhead, the man couldn't give less of a shit about what the people around them thought. He'd speak his mind, and he'd do his best to fix what he'd just done. What he'd just done was rude-- incredibly rude. That he actually cared about what that meant was new for the man, but precedent didn't matter right now. All that mattered was fixing this.

"Ai don't even know why Ai said what Ai did. Ai've probably spent most of tha last few years on tha rim." He went on, running his fingers up through his hair and digging them into his scalp. "It's just... Ai mean, Ai dunno what Ai was thinkin'." He confessed again, letting out a groan. Shame flushed across his face as he sat there. Why would he even say something like that?

The expression Laeonas wore on his face changed as Senin started to talk about the core. The regret was mixed in with a furrowed brow, recognition of what it was that Senin was referring to. The frown on his lips was paired with a look of frustration, and than, anger.
“…Ai know what ya mean.” He’d mutter, gritting his teeth.

“They’re true; ‘alf true. But not fer tha people on tha bottom.” He’d explain, expression unchanging. “Wasnt a day ai lived where ai wasn’t reminded of ‘ow tha people rulin’ mae world don’t give a shite about anyone but ‘emselves. Runnin’ around in their palaces while me and mae ma struggled ta eat.” He’d spit. “Bunch’f pampered pricks. Ai dunno ‘ow they got where they are, but they don’t deserve it.” He went on, arms crossed.

By now, the attention on the both of them had died down a bit. Laeonas had ample time to stare at his food. He’d nod when Senin asked him not to speak as he had, and his words were taken to heart. The Brentaalan hadn’t planned on hurting the man with his words. Likewise, he had no plans of hurting him any further. The dish still remained untouched, with the human staring, and the redhead speaking.

“Ai need t’use tha fresher.” He’d suddenly exclaim, standing up and walking off. He needed to be alone, if only for a few minutes.

While Laeonas talked, Senin watched his reaction. The older man really seemed to be ashamed with his comment. The Acolyte felt satisfied with it, making the Brentaalan feel this way was a good revenge in his opinion. He didn't want to physically hurt the dark haired man, this way making him feel guilty was good enough for him.

Senin didn’t expect that Laeonas would continue trying to correct what he did. The older man even revealed that he spent much time on planets of the Outer Rim. Once again the G'weneen were curious to know more about the Brentaalan. They slept together and the young man even revealed some details of his past, but the other man's backstory was still a mystery.

Senin noticed how the other changed after he mentioned his opinion about the Core Worlds. The delicious anger that he felt early was once again flowing through the Force, coming from Laeonas.

Then the older man started to talk more about his backstory. A childhood of poverty, while the elites ruled Brentaal, ignoring the suffering of the poor. Senin wanted to laugh, it was so similar to his backstory. At least Laeonas still had a mother and didn't live as a street urchin on the streets.

Anyone would think that the young man was lucky, for having been adopted by the Ravelo. But the truth was that he would give up everything if he could have his mother back. He didn't like to think about that, but she would be horrified with what he was becoming.

"Ok, Gato. I'll wait for you there." he said when Laeonas announced that he was going to the refresher. Senin wondered if the older man was mad with what he said about the people of the Core Worlds. Although he had partially agreed with him on this description, with the rich being elitists.

Being alone at the table made Senin think how he had started to like the constant presence of the older man. He wanted the other to come back soon. Deciding to ignore these thoughts, the Acolyte would start to think in a plan for them to have access to the information about the Zoober accidents. When the Brentaalan returned, he would already have planned something.

The man walkled through the restaurant at an accelerated pace. When he spotted the sign indicating the location of the refreshers, he'd push past customers and servers alike. Arriving inside, Laeonas stopped in front of a sink, gripping the stone counter with both hands. The Brentaalan stared at himself in the wall length mirror, eyes focused on his own expression. His face look worn; exhausted even, yet the color of shame was distinct on a face that was usually a near milky white.

Guilt was something that the man tried to push down. It was a feeling that he'd never been able to confront. Either he ignored it entirely, or it overwhelmed him. It had been why he'd run to the refresher-- the continued shame that burnt through him was bad enough, but having to sit across from the man he'd wronged was agonizing. The distance between the two men was as much of a stress reliever as meditating.

Running away from the scene of what he'd done had always been a tried and true method of escape. The guilt only followed for a few days, but after drinking enough, it was usually gone. There wasn't anything stopping him from doing just that. He could leave the restaurant, get back to his ship, and fly to another city on the planet. Buy some spice and drinks, take a girl or boy back to his ship, and forget the redhead had even existed. He could forget the taste of his lips, the feeling of his hands on his back, or the way his fingers wrapped into those red locks of his.

He stared at himself for a long time, contemplating the possibility. Every time he'd face it, memories of the previous day would flash through his mind. Memories of the two men dancing, of the G'weneese man confessing to his past. Of the rage he'd felt when the thugs had threatened the boy. Of the crash, and the investigation the two were planning.

Some people felt attachments that went deeper than friendship. It wasn't something he'd ever experienced; for him, relationships were either platonic, carnal, hostile, or in the case of his mother, maternal. He'd seen couples that stuck together for years, married in all but name. He'd seen the ways they'd look at each other, smile, laugh at each other's stupid jokes, or quarrel and than kiss at the end. There'd been something missing in him when he reacted to such sights. He felt nothing.

Yet the boy with the red hair, who he'd known for barely a few days, had already cemented himself as his friend. Would they really allow this blunder, however massive and insensitive, to ruin that? Would running away really leave him satisfied? Laeonas had that to consider when a shrieking twi'lek preschooler ran into the bathroom. A mother frantically ran in after her, belting out apologies in huttese as she scooped up the girl and walked back out.

A stall opened, and a dug made his way over to the sinks. There were a variety of different options for various species, with one around the dug's size being the one he wound up at. The dug would see the human take a long, deep breathe, turn around, and head back out into the main dining area.

Laeonas arrived back at his table, the red on his face greatly diminished as he'd sit there. When he finally spoke up, it was in a quiet tone, with every word coming out slow and deliberate.
"...Ai want ta get out of 'ere."

Senin was starting to feel concerned. He had nearly finished his food and Laeonas still hadn't returned. The young man wondered if the Brentaalan had fled and let him pay for the food. However, looking at the fish still intact on the plate in front of him, he doubted that the man would have done it.

After some time, the young man felt tempted to go after Laeonas. However, he decided to respect the man privacity. When the Brentaalan left the table, he seemed to be so uncomfortable. A part of the G’weneen hoped that he would not be mad with him for what he had said about the people of the Core Worlds.

During the time that he waited for the other to return, Senin had planned what they could do to have access to the information regarding the accidents of the Zoober. He only waited for Laeonas to come back, so he could explain his plan to him. In his opinion, it was perfect. Like him.

When he saw the dark-haired man walking back to the table, Senin smiled. However, it disappeared when Laeonas sat in silence. The red haired decided to wait for the other to say something. The Brentaalan was visibly disturbed and the Acolyte had no idea about what he should do to help him.

Finally, Laeonas said something. He wanted to leave the restaurant. Senin frowned, he didn't even touch the food. "Ok, Gato. We will leave." he said to the man. If it would make him feel better, the Acolyte would do it.

The young man signaled for a waiter. After the Zeltron approached their table, Senin said that he wanted to pay for the food and asked for him to pack Laeonas' fish, because he was going to eat it at home. While living on the streets, the Acolyte had learned the importance of food. He would not allow this good fish to be sent to the trash.

After he paid and the waiter returned with a plastic bag containing a box where the food was, Senin rose from his seat. He had remained all this time in silence, uncertain of what he should say to the older man. "Where do you want to go now?" he asked. The Acolyte had decide to avoid asking what happened with Laeonas, at least for now.

Awkward couldn't begin to describe the man right now. The uneasiness he felt radiated from every action he took, every expression he wore. The way his eyes would glance across the table and dart away. The way his hands would twitch, or his lips would quiver. The weight of his breathe after he'd told Senin that he wanted to leave. Laeonas had been disheveled, frightened, shocked when Senin had first met him; but this was entirely different. Then, he'd just been a man who'd nearly died-- now, he was a man who felt like he'd nearly died.

Senin hadn't known the man for long, but from anything he'd been able to glean, Sid's behavior right now would be incredibly alien. He'd come off as shameless or prideful, or at worst indignant and spiteful. Never once had he cowered like a highschool boy who'd told a joke none of his classmates found funny. Even his disrobing had left him distressed and scared, not awkward and uncomfortable.

Whatever happened next, the man's demeanor didn't change even
slightly. Senin's offer to leave didn't prompt a verbal response-- only a brief nod. He looked wide eyed at the waiter as he'd bring them a box, glancing away whenever the man made eye contact with him. Senin's reluctance to speak any further seemed to dissipate as he'd ask Laeonas' opinion on where to go next. It was immediately met by more silence, but after a few minutes, the man replied, "...home."

The man sat there for a bit longer, finally standing up after a few seconds.
"Ai... Ai'm sorry... Ai gotta go." He'd answer, staring down at his feet. “Ai… Ai did ya wrong. Ai cant be here with ya laike this.” He’d stammer, clearly displeased with his own words. “It ain’t right. Ai insulted ya and yer people. Ai’m sorry.”

While living on the streets, Senin learned many things. Some good and other terrible, but all of them were useful for him to survive. One of these things that he learned was to watch the body language of someone. It could be very revealing about the intentions of a person.

Due to it, the young man noticed how uncomfortable Laeonas was. Senin watched how Laeonas hands were twitching, his lips quivering and the way that his eyes looked everywhere, except at the G’weneen. He wondered if the older man was acting this way due to what he had said about the people of the Core Worlds.

When Laeonas said that he wanted to go home, Senin nodded in agreement. He was going to stand up from the chair when the Brentaalan did it first. The way that he talked made the Acolyte doubt if the other was older like how he had previously thought, because now he looked like a child asking an adult for forgiveness.

By this point, Senin should probably dump Laeonas and go away. Normally he wasn’t in the mood to comfort a cry baby. However, these last days were so good and he wanted more of it. Getting up from his seat, the Acolyte approached the Brentaalan. He would use his right hand to hold the one of the older man. “Gato, I’m not angry with you anymore. I’m also sorry for saying these things about the people of the Core Worlds.” in reality, he wasn’t sorry. He still believed in what he had said, but Laeo wasn’t like them.

I’ll not allow you to go home alone. You haven't eaten anything since you left the hospital yesterday! You can pass out due to hypoglycemia and there will be no one to help you.” Senin said to him, looking directly at the older man’s eyes. “I’ll go with you. Will you allow me to take care of you tonight?” in other occasion, the Acolyte would have said that with a lewd tone. However, now Laeonas would notice only concern in the young man’s words.

"It don't matter what ya feel a'bout it." Laeonas replied, an icy tone coming over his words. He'd finally provide direct eye contact with the man, aquamarines wide, but clearly focused on the man before him. "Ai did ya wrong. Ai insulted ya. Ai insulted yer people. Th'at ain't right." He added, almost repeating what he'd previously said word for word. "It ain't tha 'urt Ai caused th'at matters, it's what Ai did. Ai owe ya, but Ai can't bring maeself ta be 'round ya after all Ai've said." The man finally finished.

He'd let the words hang there for a few seconds. Never once in his life had he ever hinted at his moral philosophy in front of a person he'd hurt; and what more grand a way to do that with a person he cared more about than most he'd met, in the harshest way he possibly could? The problem he'd had with hurting Senin had involved the man's feelings, but more precisely it had been the act against Senin himself. The impact was secondary towards the fact that he'd done something he now judged as wrong.

Yet as the awkwardness returned to him, and the weight of what he'd just said came crashing down, Laeonas' demeanor shifted back, and his tone returned to the stammer it had been. "Ai- Ai don't mean th'at Ai don't care a'bout 'ow ya feel, just th'at it ain't right what Ai did. Th'at Ai don't deserve yer 'elp, yer... friendship. At least not fer awhile." He'd clarify, words stumbling out of his mouth like water from a clogged pipe.

"...and Ai don't know what 'ypo- 'ypoglae-- 'ypo-glae-ssem- whatever th'at is." Laeonas would add, taking a step back from the man. The man would shake his head, closing his eyes, and ball his hands into his hair in frustration and shame as the offers of care and help came. "Ai don't deserve ANY OF IT!" He exclaimed, voice rising in a crescendo. The surrounding patrons were now staring at the two humans with either concerned or aggravated expressions. Most were obviously focused on the one yelling.

The man took another step back, right into a waiter who'd been passing to deliver a tray of food. The dishes splayed across his and Laeonas' clothes, but before any words could be explained, the man was flung backwards with an uncharacteristic amount of strength. Laeonas stood with an obviously distraught expression, having not moved against the man-- physically, that was. He glanced at the waiter, who was laying on the floor in a pile of food, and Senin. Than, without a word, he bolted.

He ran through the restaurant, stumbling past people and at one point, tripping. He fell, but would quickly pull himself back up and head towards the outside. Damn it if Senin was pursuing, he needed to leave. Needed to get as far away from the man he'd hurt.

Senin was surprised with the way that Laeonas was talking with him. He couldn’t understand the man’s problem. Didn’t he already say that he wasn’t mad at him? Why do the Brentaalan continue reacting this way?

He heard with disbelief while Laeonas talked with a stammering voice that he didn’t deserve the Acolyte friendship. Senin couldn’t believe what he was saying. After all that they did together, the older man was now saying that they shouldn’t be friends anymore. Yes, he didn’t like what the Brentaalan had said about his culture. But he had already forgiven him, there was no reason for him to continue acting this way.

Even so, he could see that Laeonas was obviously furious with what he did. Senin stared wide eyed while the older man yelled, making everyone turn toward them. He didn’t care for what the others thought, but he wanted the Brentaalan to calm down. There was no reason for him to be acting this way.

Before the young man could say anything, Laeonas stepped away from him and collided with a waiter. Then, the waiter was flung backwards with an obvious use of the Force. The Brentaalan looked at him with a distraught expression and ran away.

Senin stayed there for a few seconds, thinking about what had happened. The Sith part of him thought that he should go back to his penthouse and forget about Laeonas. The man was being too problematic, it was the second time that he acted in a strange way. He shouldn’t waste his time with him.

However, another part of him was concerned with Laeonas. The older man could hurt himself. Senin had seen how he had used the Force against the waiter. Without any control over it, the Brentaalan could end up killing himself.

Then, Senin went against the Sith part of himself, he ran after Laeonas. Even if the Brentaalan said that he didn’t deserve the friendship of the G’weneen, the Acolyte was still going to help him. After all, the young man was very stubborn.

An absolute mess; that had been what this date had turned into. What he had turned it into. He and his mouth; his filthy bastard mouth. His stupid, ignorant, peasant mouth, spewing words of blind prejudice in an accent that grated on the auditory organs of everyone in the galaxy. Laeonas needed to be away, leave as fast as he could, go back to where he could be alone.

How... how terrible, he sounded. Like an inbred streetrat that hadn't ever picked up a datapad. An illiterate trog that spoke worse basic than a Kesselese pit slave-- and he spoke basic. The man had naively just thought it had been "how he talked" since he was a boy. A decade of galactic travel later, and the man was beginning to realize just how uniquely terrible he sounded to the average person.

"But Ai didn't choose th'at!" He thought to himself, slipping into a cab. He muttered the address to the pilot, and in an instant, they were off. That left him and him alone to contemplate what he'd done. Contemplate how no matter what he did, he'd still sound like a moron. That he'd been squirted into an existence of poverty, misery and ignorance by his father, and that he'd never, ever claw out. No matter how much beskar he got, or how pretty his ship became, he'd never amount to anything.

These were all thoughts he sunk into before he arrived back at his ship. Thoughts that came before he walked out of the cab without providing a tip, and walked all the way back to his holoscreening room. All before he'd open up the cabinet, pour a glass, and empty it; and than pour another, and another, and another. By the time the first bottle was done he felt a little buzzed. By the time the third bottle was done, it was hard to balance. By the time the fifth bottle was done, the man shouldn't have even been able to stand.

Was it safe for him to drink bottle after bottle of hard liquor alone? Ofcourse it wasn't, but why care? He was a worthless, drunken fop. One only capable of making words people treated like animal noise. One only capable of spewing ignorant bigotry at things he didn't understand. This was what he was good at; drinking, and hurting people.

So, he drank.

When Senin finally left the restaurant, he looked around trying to find Laeonas. He was too late, the older man was already jumping inside a cab. The Acolyte still tried to run after him, calling for the Brentaalan and asking the vehicle to stop. However, it left without stopping.

Senin stayed there, holding a bag with a baked fish while watching the speeder go away. Once again thoughts about how he should forget Laeonas and go find some fun for the rest of the night appeared in his mind. It was obvious that the older man didn’t want to stay near him. He should leave him alone.

However, he had started to care for the Brentaalan. Senin loved the days that they spent together. The G’weneen thought that they had connected with each other in a way that never happened with him before. Probably because the older man was so similar to him.

The young man was concerned for him. Laeonas had left the restaurant so disturbed that Senin was afraid that he could hurt himself. The Brentaalan also hasn't eaten anything since he left the hospital yesterday. The Acolyte decided that he was going to find the older man and take care of him.

Since Laeonas said that he wanted to go “home”, Senin thought that he probably had returned to his ship. He entered the cab and said the address to the pilot. The Acolyte remained in silence during the entire trip. When they arrived, the young man paid the driver and walked toward the Brentaalan’s ship. He hoped that the older man would not have left the planet.

He felt relieved when he saw that it was still at the same place. When he approached the door, Senin had noticed that Laeonas had left it unlocked. Seeing it made him even more concerned. To forget it open, the older man was probably too disturbed when he arrived there.

After Senin crossed the door, he walked around the ship, trying to find Laeonas. The Acolyte would find the man at the holoscreening room. “Laeonas!” the G’weneen would scream with what he saw, while dropping the bag with the baked fish on the floor.

As Senin arrived at the ship, he'd find that nothing immediately seemed out of the ordinary-- until he'd arrive in the holoscreening room. The room had been left different from the night before. The liquor cabinet was swung open, with several of the bottles emptied, opened, or turned over. The most prominent change however, was the slumped over mass on the floor. Laeonas was splayed out across the carpet, an empty bottle in one hand.

At the scream, the man stirred slightly, belching as he'd tilt his head up slightly. The man's vision was woefully impaired, so recognizing the man visually was almost impossible. The force was... clouded, and focusing on it in a meaningful way was, by this point extremely difficult. That meant the only thing Laeonas could recognize was the man's voice-- a barely audible source of noise that vaguely sounded like the cause of his grief. Suffice to say, he was not reassured.

The man wouldn't die. He'd been building up a tolerance to heavy alcohol since he was fifteen. His liver would take a hit, sure, but this wasn't fatal. At least, not immediately. This binge wouldn't be enough to cause his heart to pump to slow and induce cardiac arrest. But with what a terrible mood he was in, and with how much worse he'd feel tomorrow while under a hangover? He'd use drink to make himself forget the pain, and the drink would cause more pain, and so he would drink to fix it. Only that time around, nobody would've been there to tell him to stop-- or get his stomach pumped.

Fortunately the red headed G'weneese man had followed him home. He'd found his mess of a "friend," laying in a drunken stupor on the floor of his ship. A groaning, groggy sound had escaped his lips, before his head fell back. It was only due to his tolerance and his connection to the force that the man wasn't passing out or dying. Laeonas' midichlorians were working in tandem with his body to filter out the toxins in his bloodstream, trying their best to keep him alive. They'd been working hard, but they were going to succeed.

Ofcourse, his mental faculties were another thing entirely. It was... obvious now that Laeonas wasn't the best when it came to coping with his actions. Either the man simply didn't care about his actions, rationalized them to absolve himself of responsibility... or he recognized his responsibility, and felt miserable. Senin had seen all of these in action to some extent, with the absolute lack of empathy or shame that had resulted from pummeling the gangsters that had attacked them beyond what was necessary. Now, he was seeing the opposite.

Laying on the floor, Laeonas spittled out a bit, trying to lift up the bottle in his hand before it and his hand fell backwards. He'd try rolling onto his side, coughing a bit before he'd fail. Letting out a groan, he'd struggle to move, shimmying a bit on the floor. This man, who'd proven himself a capable fighter, a physically able, mature human being, was now writhing on the floor, unable to even crawl. It was perhaps the most unattractive he could ever look.

The scene that was in front of him shocked Senin. There were several bottles of alcoholic beverages scattered across the floor. Laeonas was splayed there, holding a bottle in his hand. It reminded the Acolyte of the drunk people that he used to see at the streets of G’wenee. He grimaced after hearing the older man belch.

However, he would not let Laeonas this way there. Senin feared that the older man would enter an alcoholic coma. Being there alone, these conditions could be fatal to the Brentaalan. He remembers hearing how some people died due to alcoholic intoxication. The G'weneen didn't want to see the man dead.

After recovering from the shock, Senin sighed and walked toward the drunk man. The Acolyte didn't want to admit it, but seeing the man struggling on the floor made him sad. It was so strange to see Laeonas this way. Early the Brentaalan seemed to be a strong man, someone that brought down a criminal. But now he looked so weak and fragile.

He kneeled beside the older man and would remove the bottle from his hand. "Oh, Laeonas. What happened to you?" he muttered for himself, a sad expression forming on his face. The older man was so drunk that he didn't even recognize the G'weneen. He would tenderly touch his forehead and hair. Why the Brentaalan did it to himself?

"Laeonas, I'm your friend. Let me help you." he said with a calm voice. If the Brentaalan accepted his help, Senin would help him get up and walk to his bedroom. He would not let the older man this way there, laying on the floor looking like a corpse.

A groggy groan escaped the man's lips. He continued to try and move along the floor, not entirely sure of what direction he was headed in. Only when the other man continued to speak did Laeonas have something to focus on. His body would slowly shimmy around, flipping onto his stomach. "Nnghruuuuuh..." He groaned, stopping in his tracks. He was tired-- to tired to even move. Now, he'd give up on the effort altogether.

The mention of his name stirred him a little. "Seninnngh..." He slurred, glancing up at the blurry outline of a figure in the room. Aquamarines stared through a hazy glaze, unable to make out any features besides the distinct red of his "friend's" hair. "Uuuuugh..." he groaned, fingers twitching as he tried to lift his arm-- to no avail. The man's head fell as he let out another groan, this time out of defeat.

He was in no position to help himself, but he quite literally couldn't make it worse-- at least, right now. He was stuck and he was exhausted-- physically and mentally. That Senin asked for his approval to help showed how little he understood the situation. Laeonas was near black out drunk. Even if he could muster the ability to speak, it'd probably be so slurred (on top of his thick accent) to the point where it wouldn't be intelligible. It was up to Senin to decide if Laeonas' verbal consent mattered when it came to helping him.

He could still leave. It wouldn't make much of a difference. The man probably wouldn't remember him being there. Even if he did, he'd probably write it off as a dream. He'd have to deal with a hung over Laeonas on top of all that. The man sober was enough of a mess already. One who'd had alcohol going through his system after a full night would be an even bigger handful.

Senin sighed, Laeonas was so drunk that he couldn’t even move. The Acolyte noticed that the mention of his name caused a reaction from the older man, but his voice sounded so slurred and he still couldn’t move. The young man had hoped that the Brentalaan would be able to get up from the floor, but now it seemed impossible.

He still couldn’t leave the man there on the floor. Since he flipped onto his stomach, Senin was afraid that Laeonas could throw up and end up suffocating with it. Then, the G'weneen would help the dark-haired man to get up.

Due to the state of drunkenness that the Brentalaan was in, it took some time and the use of the Force for Senin to finally make him stand up. He didn't care if the other would sense him using it, the G'weneen would explain it to him when he woke up tomorrow. Acolyte put Laeonas' right arm around his neck and walked with the man to the bedroom.

Once they arrived there, Senin carefully put Laeonas in the bed, taking off his shoes and covering him with a blanket. Now the Acolyte was unsure about what he should do. The Brentaalan had left clear that he didn't want to be near him. The right thing to do would be to leave him alone. However, the Acolyte was afraid that the older man would wake up and seek more drinks. Or have complications due to the amount of alcohol that he ingested.

Then, he decided to stay here to watch him. Senin walked toward the ship's kitchen to pick up a chair. While he walked, the Acolyte found the box with the baked fish and picked it. Once he arrived at the kitchen, the Acolyte placed the food on the fridge and found a chair.

The Acolyte brought it back to the bedroom and sat there, staring at the man on the bed. The G’weneen would spend the entire night this way. Sometimes he would doze off, but would soon wake up to watch if his friend was fine. When Laeonas woke up, he would see the red-haired man sleeping in the chair.

As it turned out, it was very difficult to bring Laeonas to his room. As Senin would try and lift him, the limp mass of muscle and flesh would protest, groaning and flailing a bit with one arm. His protests would, ofcourse, mean nothing. The man couldn't move on his own, so he couldn't stop Senin from helping him to his bed. Once in his room, tossing him onto the bed would be easy enough.

He felt the use of the force, but upon being tucked in, the man was to tired to investigate. Soon enough, he'd doze off, succumbing to drink and his exhaustion. The man's sleep was dreamless, that alcohol poisoned mind simply drifting through the endless void of slumber. For 11 hours the man slept, barely showing any signs of life, but for the rising and falling of his chest. That was until his mind finally stirred, and a groan escaped his lips.

"Uuuughhnnnn..." It came, sounding less like a person and more like an AMS victim. Laeo's mouth hung open, jaw slack as he rolled onto his side-- and fell from the bed. Rather than move from his position, he simply let out another corpse-like groan, arms reaching out and grasping at the floor. Slowly, he'd pull himself up, getting onto his knees as he grasped at his bed and nightstand for support. Aquamarines finally opened-- and just as they did, Laeonas' stomach emptied.

Turning to a nearbye garbage can, the man vomited out the contents of last night's binge. It was almost completely liquid, as the man hadn't properly eaten anything in days by this point. When he finally stopped, the man slumped against the back of his bed, coughing and groaning all the while.
"Fuuuuchhh..." He tried to curse, words slurred as he lay there. He sat like that for a moment, staring up at the ceiling.

He was prompted to move as his senses-- while dulled from hangover-- picked up on the presence of another. Even now, it was familiar to him.
"Ssseninngh?" The man called, turning to his side, where he'd spot the ginger in the chair. A smile crept onto his lips, and he'd wave at the man, whether sleeping or not. "Hiiiiiii..." he'd call, moving to go and join him-- before tripping on his own legs and falling.

Senin had spent the entire night sleeping on the chair. In reality, he barely slept. Most of the time the young man stayed awake, watching Laeonas. He was afraid that the older man would wake up and try to drink more, or that he would have some complication due to being so drunk.

When Laeonas woke up, the Acolyte would be sleeping. Early today, Senin had watched the Brentaalan one last time, before deciding to sleep a bit more. He was having pleasant dreams, when the older man fell on the floor. The sound made the G’weneen jolt from the chair and also nearly joined his friend on the floor.

Looking to where the sound has come from, Senin would see the Brentaalan trying to get up from where he fell. Before he could say anything, the older man picked a garbage can and started to vomit inside of it. The Acolyte grimaced, after how much Laeonas drank yesterday, it wasn't surprising that he was putting everything out.

While he watched the Brentaalan start to recover from having emptied his stomach on the trash can, Senin started to feel the price for having slept on a chair. His neck and back were full of pain. He couldn't even move without feeling it hurt. The young man thought that his neck was a bit stiffen. He wanted a massage.

"Good morning, Gato." he smiled at Laeonas, when the man talked with him. When the older man tripped, Senin jumped from his chair and ran toward him. He would hold the Brentaalan with his arms, saving him to hit the floor. "Laeonas, stay on the bed. You are too weak and the drinks from yesterday didn't helped. You need to eat something." the G'weneen would help the man return to the bed.

"I'll take care of you." he said, kissing Laeonas forehead. "I'll make something for you to eat. Or do you prefer to take a shower first? I can help you with that, if you want." there was nothing lewd about what Senin said. He only wanted to help his friend to recover.

It was hard to forget Senin's voice, and when it hit Laeonas' ears, his whole body relaxed. Had the whole of yesterday just been a dream? The man couldn't think much about it, as any intense thoughts were clouded by his hangover. He could still remember who he was; that gorgeous ginger who he'd spent an incredible night with. He'd melt into the other man as he'd hold him up, sighing as he was pushed back onto his bed.

"C'meere..." He'd mutter, reaching out with both arms. "C'mon... Ai'm loooooonelyyyyy..." He called, head turning onto his side. The clumsy, hungover flirtations dind't mean much though, as Laeonas demonstrated when he simply flipped onto his side and prepared to doze off again. At the offer of food, Laeonas paused, before letting out a giggle. "Aaiiiii don't think Aaiiiii should eat aenethenngh." He'd reply, flopping an arm to point at the filled garbage can.

The offer of a shower was met with a different response, as he'd loudly proclaim, "Tchooo teard..." before rolling onto his stomach, face first into the pillow. He remained like that for a few seconds, before he began to groan, coming up for air with a gasp. The man rolled back onto his back, looking around before he'd spot the ginger again. "...Ai... can remember a loooot..." He muttered, frowning a little as he looked at the man.

"Ish... weird... shince Ai drank soooooo much." He explained, blinking a few times. "Ai remember ya... us... th'at panel in tha rec room..." He muttered, referencing a part of the wall he'd dented while pressing Senin against it. "...but it feelsh... waaaaay further than last night." The man added, chewing a bit on his lip. "...Am Ai fergettin' shomethin'?" He'd ask, wandering eyes finally fixing on Senin's own.

Under normal circumstances, Senin wouldn't refuse Laeonas' invitation to join him at the bed. However, the older man was still under the effect of alcohol. The Acolyte could barely understand his flirtations. The Brentaalan's accent was worse than normal. He was also needing a shower and had vomited some moments ago. In the G'weneen opinion, all of that made the older man not look very attractive at the moment.

When the Brentaalan said that he shouldn’t eat, Senin rolled his eyes "Gato, you haven't eaten since you left the hospital. I'm not a doctor, but I believe that the reason why you vomited so much after drinking was because you had nothing in your stomach." he crossed his arms, looking seriously at Laeonas. The other man really needed to eat something.

Laeonas reaction to the mention of shower, made the G’weneen sigh. It reminded him of a child that didn’t want to go clean themselves. Senin never thought that he was good with children. They were annoying. "Laeonas, you really need a shower. You are smelling of alcohol and vomit. You also need to brush your teeth."

He approached the older man on the bed, wanting to help him get out of it. While Laeonas said that he didn't remember what happened last night, Senin bit his lower lip. "No, you aren't." he decided to not tell the Brentaalan about how he ran away from the restaurant. It could make him want to send the Acolyte away and start to drink again.

"Come, Gato. Let me help you get up from the bed and go brush your teeth." he offered a hand to the older man. "If you are nice, maybe I'll even help you at the shower." Senin winked at Laeonas. He wasn’t really in the mood for it, but perhaps this suggestion would make the Brentaalan more interested.
