Traitors. Ryujin perhaps hated these more than the Jedi or the Republic, for they did not know the grace of the bosom of the Empire. But traitors they had felt the warmth of that embrace had shunned it for the cold of the Jedi and their peaceful philosophies. The Inquisition had expected some backlash from the removal of both Darth Stolas and Darth Caelestis, considerable assets had been sent to Avillion to watch for any signs the old Councillor’s ‘Kingdom’ would break into open revolt against the Empress. So far nothing had happened, probably as a decision on its future had not been fully decided. Ryujin would have to keep an eye on that side of the galaxy for the future.

For now he was being swiftly dropped into one of the plunge cities of Utapau, this backwater planet on the edge of Southern Sith territory, an easy escape route out of the Empire, into worlds unaligned before swiftly turning back around and heading to the Core. Ryujin was fully adorned in his red Inquisitor Armour, not a single section of skin was shown, gone was his personal lightsaber or any sign of the personal that was Ryujin Izanagi, no this was Inquisitor Susanoo a weapon of the Empire against those within and without.

He smiled behind his mask when he looked at who had also been assigned the role of squashing this traitor’s escape. The very same Sith Lord he had ventured to Sullust with a few weeks prior, perhaps The Force was a comedian as well as an omnipotent powerhouse. The Inquisitor paid the Sith Lord little attention as they fell from the sky towards their prey, for when he wore this armour he answered to none but the Empress.

“Our target is General Valin Cross. I assume you have been briefed on him?” Ryujin asked through the voice modulator of his helmet.

The storm-ravaged lands of Utapau came closer and closer into view as Veles and Susanoo approached the ground. When the briefing had mentioned being "dropped" on the planet, he had assumed it was just a figure of speech, but it seemed the Inquisition was so adamant about stealth that they would not even risk giving them a ship to land with. It was a bit risky considering the entire planet had been overrun with AMS-infected zombies and they had no cover or shelter, but what little intel they had from the ground implied that this was a ghost town that had been evacuated that the former General Cross had holed up into for the time being.

"Indeed I have," he responded, concentrating on keeping himself from flipping over as the wind beat against his body. "I suppose we're going to attempt an arrest instead of going straight for the kill?"

The briefing had mentioned that the target was wanted dead or alive, but left the details to their discretion, and it was all the same to Veles. He harbored no sympathy or pity for the man, who'd brought this fate down onto himself. The hammer of Imperial justice came down on all, regardless of the way they felt about that. He did not know anything about the Inquisitor he was aiding, but that was essentially the point of the Inquisition in the first place. Time and combat would tell whether these Inquisitors could handle themselves properly, but Veles could not imagine the Empire producing a lackluster branch of spies and assassins. If anything, it was probably the jewel of Imperial intelligence/

Veles activated his parachute as they neared the floor of the sinkhole, soaring through the air with agility and coming to a landing behind a building, careful not to make any noise or be spotted. He reached out through the Force and could not feel any panic or urgency coming from the one lifeform in the town, so it was safe to say he had not been spotted. Additionally, now he knew where the General was, and Veles silently thanked the Force for cutting down on the time it would take for them to search.

"Confirming successful infiltration," he murmured into the comms. "Moving in on target."

“Hello there.”

The man spoke into the emptiness, pausing his step. This was a new, but to his horror, oddly familiar feeling. The darkness, no matter how hidden, always left traces for those who know where to look. Especially it’s former servants. To that end, the Vahla was here - here to find another like him. That perhaps he might not be alone - a defector. A traitor.

But this presence was unmistakably powerful. Far more powerful than he, though hopefully not as well trained. Gram was an equivalent to a Knight yes, but he had been the equivalent of a Knight for a very long time. He had fought alongside and against a plethora of force users, with all range of skill sets. His experience was invaluable, and this was not the first Sith Lord he had faced. Then, he was outnumbered and unprepared. This time, the numbers were even - and what he lacked in power he would make up for in skill, patience, and knowledge.

But the mistake was not to be made this this was some Jedi here to redeem this being. Gram knew all too well once you grow to such a level of power, to turn back required an outside source. And he had no emotional connection to this being - no tether. It would be a fight to the death. A Sith would accept nothing less - and Gram couldn’t allow something that corrupt to keep walking the Galaxy. Much less this world. Everywhere the thing went spread nothing but fear and chaos, even if in the smallest of ways, blanketing the entire area in a hue of negativity.

To one holding in the Force Aura, it was easily mistaken for a sullen day. But Gram made no such attempts to prevent himself from being felt through the Force, and so, was quite open to it’s ebb and flow. Now was not the time to fold into himself; now was the time to gather all energy to him. Every light source, every source of combustion in a twenty meter radius would begin to sputter and suddenly go out, as the air around Gram grew hot and thick. Eventually, it began to spark. And finally, twelve orbs of flame arranged themselves in a shifting semicircle about his back.

Each a super compressed ball of molten flame, just as lethal as napalm if taken head on. It was the best he could do in such a short time.

He was halfway between the one he had come to meet, and the ones who had come to claim him. It was quite obvious who he was, what weapon he held in his hand. It was obvious that the Force was his ally. And it was obvious, by the amber bellows of flame from his eyelids, that he had come prepared for blood.

Come on, then. Let the Chaos begin.

He had not come for peace, but by the sword. The one they had come for was his best chance at learning more about the Force - or the Sith dealings of late. Generations of his kin had died defending innocents, and thwarting the Sith wherever they could. This was destiny. And he would do nothing to prevent it.

Ashla followed in the wake of the other two, bringing up the rear and moving a little behind them. She hadn't received any specific orders to follow in their wake, or to stick together, so instead of clustering together with them she had landed a block down from them, ready to take her own approach to the target. It wasn't like her presence besides a Sith Lord would make much of a difference if it came to a fight, but hidden in shadows, moving unseen, she could make a difference.

Ditching her parachute after landing near a mostly abandoned side alley, she pulled up the hood of her cloak, slipped out into a street, and began slowly moving towards the last known location of the target. "Roger that," she replied on hearing Veles' words on the comms, "moving in as well."

Wearing her standard armor, her blades hanging at her waist, she moved slowly and carefully, her cloak mostly keeping all that hidden from any wandering eyes. The only thing she really did have to worry about was a Jedi showing up, and even then she was more concerned about them putting up a dance show like the last Jedi she had met. Besides, with a Sith Lord in the field who would notice little ol her.

The wind continued to rip violently past his helmet as they plunged towards wouldbe death, small bits of fabric from his armour made loud snaps and cracks behind him as the small guiding shute opened to help control his dissent. “Alive is preferred, but no matter what he will not leave here with the Jedi or Republic.” The Inquisitor replied. The plunge city was dark as they moved past layer and layer, AMS having ripped the soul out of this place long ago, it was only a husk of its former self.

The trailing chute had slowed Ryujin enough that Veles had landed easily before him. As he pulled his own chute he heard the voice of the young Acolyte who had also been assigned to this operation. Jedi liked to run in pairs so having a third set of hands was always a benefit and Ryujin could not have this go wrong. Not with the ISB so up in the air, he needed this to go smoothly, with the department in disarray and chaos, people needed to stand up and be noticed.

About thirty seconds after Veles touched down Ryujin joined him on the platform. As his feet touched the ground he pressed the button on his chest to release the harness and effortlessly walked forwards. It was in that moment he felt the angry energy of The Force coming from someone who was not within their little group. “It seems we are not alone.” He called out through the secure comn to the other two.

“Eyes alert, Veles I will leave this miscreant to you. Acolyte Ti, sweep in on the General from the rear, make sure there are no escape routes. I will take the front entrance.” With that Ryujin pulled his Inquisitor’s saber free and began approaching on the cowering life form that was the Valin Cross.

As he made his way toward the target and the Inquisitor fell into step at his side, Veles suddenly felt the ripples of another being here--one that was clearly Force sensitive and gathering power to themselves. He could feel the tainting of the dark side corrupting the presence, and yet there was something still a bit pure within. It intrigued him, and the very presence of the stranger could risk jeopardizing the mission, so the Sith Lord already began making his way toward the misguided dark sider when the Inquisitor mentioned him. It did not take him long to reach the man, especially since he was right between them and their target, his presence in the Force right there in the open. Veles' two companions would feel him too, and know where to zero in on him which was quite unfortunate as that meant the man was surrounded in a town devoid of people at the bottom of a sinkhole. Depending on where his ship was, that meant there was no way for him but to go through the trio of Sith.

Veles' cloak rippled lightly as the hilt of one of his lightsabers snapped to his right hand, his gaze set on the stranger, analyzing his every movement. The Sith Lord's presence was more stifling up close, and only grew more suffocating as he honed in on his power, clearing his mind and letting his heart take over.

"I will give you thirty seconds to explain why you're here before I detach your head from your shoulders," he declared coolly, his voice carrying through the ghost town easily. He was standing in the middle of the road right in front of the man, buildings on their right and left side, though not much else around. Sure, the stranger could try to dart into one of them, but Veles, green mist already starting to collect within his palm, was completely prepared to yank the man back the moment he moved toward the door.

As the Lord spoke, and the sorcerer replied, the air grew sullen and the sky dark.

“In the manner of the old ways, and the Sith who came before you, we must speak.”

He knew to whom he spoke. He did not know their name, or their titles, but Gram could recognize that level of power anywhere. Though oddly, there was very little hesitation in his words. All present would be able to sense that despite the intense danger he was in, the Vahla barely seemed to care. In fact - he almost felt happy.

“I seek knowledge. Might I speak with this one, before you claim them?”

It had been some time since he had used the Force like this. To fully embrace the fact that battle was possible, and summon the powers at his disposal, was always a horror. Yet a thrill, in equal measure, knowing that this being could actually take everything he could dish out and more. If it came down to it, it would exhaust him - he would be bloody, broken, and defeated. But the knowledge he would learn from just fighting these beings was invaluable. And even if they killed him, in a twisted way, that was a victory for Gram too - others would ask what became of the grey pilgrim who wandered to and fro. They would discover the nature of his demise, and inevitably discover how to defeat the one who killed him. No choice the Vahla had made in his short life had been without purpose, and this was no different.

“…forgive the light show. Consider it a show of respect.”

He was still facing the Lord and his cohort, yet unaware of the beguiled assassin about him. If Gram had not been talking, perhaps he might have been keen enough to notice, but his sheer focus on the biggest threat would leave him open to a rather nasty surprise. Though, for his part, the Vahla was hopeful that this Sith was not as undiplomatic as his peers. A common thing for one in his situation - one might call it tunnel vision. Though he was versed in avoiding the effects, this Sith’s presence inspired a great deal of latent anxiety and harsh memories. His weapon was still in his hand, though yet unactivated, the orbs spinning as though of their own accord, neither shifting towards his opponents nor yet shaping into a defense. The Lord had allowed him the opportunity to speak, and he would allow them the opportunity to answer. It was only fair.

"Understood." The simple reply was all she said as she continued her approach, looping around surrounding buildings to approach the structure from behind. It didn't take her long to find her way to the alleyway where the building's rear exits opened up.

She took a moment to observe her surroundings, before stepping into the alleyway, only noticing the thin wire that lay hidden mere inches above the dust covered ground. Stopping mid step, her foot hovering mere millimeters from the wire, she slowly pulled it back, only taking a breath once both feet were safely back on the ground.

"He's boobytrapped the rear entrance." She spoke into her comms, sending the brief warning to her companions, The good thing about working with an Inquisitor and a Sith Lord was that they caught on quick, and she was sure that would be enough for them to be cautious in their approach as well. She, on the other hand, didn't have to waste more time spelling things out to them and could focus on spotting other traps. Slowly dropping to a crouch, she took in a deep breath and let out a long breath, blowing up the dust and watching it spread before her. As it started to clear she noticed more wires. Letting out a sigh, she got up once more, and reached with the Force, performing a gentle push that raised more dust throughout the alleyway.

She could see the wires more clearly now, but she didn't move just yet. Their target was supposed to be smart, and had worked with the Sith long enough to know that it would be Sith that would come after him. So he was must have prepared for them. Her first instinct on spotting the wires, which she had probably spotted a little too easily, was to jump right above them. A smile appeared on her lips as she reached to the Force once more, raising another cloud of dust, but sending it straight up. As more wires revealed themselves, criss-crossing the alleyway till the second story, she backed away from the alleyway entrance, and moved towards the entrance to the building next door. Once inside she started taking the stairs to head up to the roof, planning to get a better look from the rooftop and look for other entrances. He must have another escape route planned, he seemed too smart to not have another escape route other than the main entrance. One that wasn't lined to blow up.

Ryujin was confident in leaving Veles to deal with the miscreant who was in their way. But when the wannabe hero started babbling nonsense about long dead Sith Lords he couldn't not give the man at least some attention. Even if it was just to watch Veles rip the poor creature in two. His blade still hanging at his side he turned to face the man, he had been moving up along the side of the street Veles and the Stranger had been conducting their staring contest from. So was now standing about forty five degrees to the brown haired man’s left hand side.

“You have no right to speak to that man.” Ryujin's annoyance clearly audible through his modulated voice. “A sign of respect would be to get on your knees and beg that we do not end your life.” He spat, frustrated that this part time hero was trying to interfere with the Inquisitorius’ business. “Lord Veles, if you would please end this man’s life so I can take Mr Cross back to the Empire.”

Ryujin would not give the man a second chance, he stood in the way of the Inquisitorius for even Darth Veles that meant death. So this two-bit hero wouldn’t get off lightly.

It would not be difficult to tell that Veles was displeased from the moment the man opened his mouth. The Force swirled invisibly around him, and as his patience thinned, the current grew darker and darker, a cold like a winter wind sweeping over them. He heard the Inquisitor speak, but he'd already made up his mind. The Sith Lord didn't need any pushing to do what he did best. There would be no mercy for the intruder, especially not in the face of the Inquisition.

"That's unfortunate," he replied, gathering the Force toward him, goosebumps raising on his skin as the power coursed through his body like an electric current. "By decree of Empress Andruil, traitors are to be executed."

He flicked the wrist of his left hand, and a tidal wave of energy whooshed toward the man with enough force to slam him into the wall on his right side. The impact would be enough to break a few bones, certainly, but Veles knew that the best rule of war was to always assume your enemy would avoid an attack, even if they couldn't, so he shuffled his feet apart, his center of gravity solid and strong, and swirled his left hand around in front of himself. Green mist curled around it, through his fingers and overflowing in front of him, swirling around him like a snake. It was a fearsome sight, the Sith Lord moreso resembling a pale demon than a human being.

The touch of the dark side had tainted the man in front of him, and Veles could sense how far gone he was, despite whatever he told himself. Perhaps not now, or in a few months, but his sins would eventually catch up with the stranger and consume him. He could tell it was likely a Sith who'd defected, too weak and afraid to take charge of the power they were offered.

It was pathetic. Some were worth the redemption, a welcoming back to the dark side, but such cases were rare. The best thing to do with traitors, like he said, was to wipe them out and rid the Galaxy of their presence.

“Fine.”

The Force became a whirlwind, a cacophony of screams and tritoned music trilling from a source deep beneath the mantle of this world - a wave of pure kinetic energy. Where this Sith used the Force as a blunt instrument of destruction, Gram utilized it as a precise scalpel for incision. Such an attack would surely destroy even the surest of defenses - if the target followed the regular anatomical rules. Gram was half cybernetics, easily digging his heels into the ground and crouching in an almost inhuman ball. He covered his head with his robotic arm, using the Force only to cut a straight path through the blast until it cleared.

Even if the blast had struck him full on, Vahla skeletons were semi-cartilage in nature. The impact would cause pain, but the very way their bodies were designed would dampen the blow.

“I will kill you if I must. This is your contest alone, Beast!”

Simultaneously, Gram struck his palm to the ground, causing the flame about him to fall and surge forward with intensity. It would seem intent on suddenly emerging from beneath the location the two Sith had been standing. If nothing else, he would prove to this Darth, Nightfather or not, that his kind were not to be trifled with.

You want respect? You have it.

He made no effort to disguise his thoughts, knowing they would be sensitive to it. Yet another distraction. The visage of the Sith did nothing but amuse him - here was this man who was good looking, yet changed to be a monster for show. Gram was a monster not by choice, but because he was created to be such - he did not fear death, nor magick, no matter how powerful their wielders.

There was no weakness in refusing to allow corruption to overwhelm you, but rather great strength of Will. And where there was strength of Will, there was power such as the Sith sought after so dearly.

While the two senior Sith dealt with the intruder, Ashla was free to stay on objective. Making her way to the rooftop, careful for more traps, she moved for the edge of the roof facing the building their target was hiding in. She couldn't spot any obvious traps, but just to be safe she picked up some pieces of trash sitting on the roof and tossed it over. When it wasn't greeted by any surprises she lunched herself over the gap between the buildings and landed in a roll on the other rooftop.

Walking towards the door that lead to the stairwell that would take her down, she stopped a few meters from it, and using the force opened the door, and as she had hoped it opened without resistance. The good general's safe exit route was giving her easy access to the building, that is if you considered avoiding multiple deathtraps, climbing up a flight of stairs, and jumping between buildings easy.

She could sense that the others were occupied, not just through the slight hints in the Force but the silence over the comms, whatever the distraction was, it was keeping them occupied. So as she moved down the stairs she had a choice to make as well, wait for them, or move ahead with the mission. The general had surely heard her by now, so her presence was likely not a surprise anymore. In which case she might as well go keep the ex-general occupied till Veles and the Inquisitor wrapped things up on their end. After all the only criteria had been to try and take him in alive, she could talk to him without killing him.

She moved with purpose, going down two floors before she came to a stop at a doorway on the ground floor. She could sense the query behind the door, in a place as devoid of life as Utapau any presence stood out like a torch in a dark room. Opening the door, she stepped into a large waiting area of sorts. A few tables and chairs scattered around the room, and a small but sturdily built man seated at a table, a blaster in his hand, pointed straight at her.

"General Cross," she said in greeting as she slowly raised her hands up, when he didn't shoot she took a tentative step forward, "I just want to talk." When he didn't object, and by object she meant shoot at her, she continued moving forward. Hopefully things stayed that way, and she was able to keep in busy till the others showed up. Not that she needed the backup, she was just curious to see what the Inquisitor had in store for the general. She had never seen an Inquisitor in action, and it was sure to be an illuminating experience.

His blast tore toward the man like a runaway train, and yet the stranger simply dug his feet into the ground and weathered the storm, cutting through the Force when it threatened to topple him over. It irked Veles, because he knew that the man was simply prolonging the inevitable, fighting as though he would not be laying dead on that same ground in a few minutes. There was something honorable in a warrior's death, to have your life snuffed out on the battlefield in the constant crusade for honor and progress through conflict, but he doubted the exile felt the same way. If he did, he would have never deserted the Sith ranks. In Veles' eyes, the stranger was no better than a Jedi--perhaps even worse, considering his outright renunciation of the greatness that was to come. He was a fool.

"Your confidence is misplaced," he called out in response, and then swung into motion as the man made to slam his palm into the ground, leaping forward a few meters. Veles didn't know what he was intending to do, but it was always better to stay in motion. As if to confirm his thoughts, flames erupted from the spot he'd been standing in earlier. Impressive? Perhaps. But also outlandishly arrogant, a display of power that would make the man exhaust so much faster. If he fought this way, he'd pass out on his own very soon.

His dash ended just as quick as it had begun, since there was not much space between them regardless. The flames dodged, he didn't stop to think and didn't falter, instead immediately lashing out. The man wasn't far from him, so it was easy to concentrate on him, which was perfect. As his foot pounded the ground and the heat rubbed against his back, the green mist that poured out of his hands tensed up and shot out toward the exile, wrapping itself around his body instantly. It would not harm him, however; instead, it would keep him standing exactly as he'd been before, stuck in a stasis that Veles was focusing on. It would take significant effort from the man to break out of it, a battle of wills against a Sith Lord that would be a challenge in and of itself.

His attention was on the man in front of him, his gaze scanning every little movement the stranger made or tried to do. His heart pounding, adrenaline rushing, he was ready to react to anything.

Ryujin had carried on walking hoping to ignore the wannabe and be on his way towards the deserter. But then the little fool decided that not only did he want to fight a Sith Lord but also an Imperial Inquisitor, it seemed that it had been a blessing that this man-child was not a Sith. He had revealed his mechanical legs to the party as he ‘dug in’ to the ground to stop Veles' wave toppling him over, he then slammed his hand into the ground. The Force flowed constantly around them, anyone with an ounce of knowledge in its effects could sense when it was being manipulated.

Without a second thought Ryujin began moving, darting away from the position he was as a flame erupted behind him. Veles was already on the move, the green mist of his people erupted from his fingertips to ensnare the man in a trap he could try but only fail to break out from.

This ‘creature’ was now bent over and constricted on the ground by Darth Veles. It would have been an interesting contest one on one, but the unnamed turnip for a brain had made it two versus one. Igniting his sabre Ryujin snarled at the upstart from behind his mask, raising his own hand, The Dark Side pooled itself within his body before he unleashed in a torrent of Force Lightning. It would fry both the living and organic parts of the stasised man. Once a few seconds of the lightning had finished he would move in for the attack, he was only a few steps away now after moving away from the flames. With only one side of the blade ignited he moved in on the left side of the man, his strike moved down from the back of the man’s left shoulder down towards the front of his pelvis.

Auto-Hit due to Timeout.

As confident as the wannabe Jedi was, he could not fight off both a Sith Lord and a trained Inquisitor. Darth Veles green mist tightened itself around the turnip brain, holding the half collapsed individual still as the lightning struck, circuits would begin to fry, skin to char, parts of his clothes singed as the power of The Dark Side overtook his senses. As the pain would let up from the Force Lightning Ryujin would be upon him, a bright red lightsaber in hand.

He could see the pain and suffering on the creature's face and smiled. The fool for standing before the might of the Empire. The slash across the left hand side of the man would disable him, slicing the prosetchic arm and leg free. The combination of the electrical feedback from losing the limbs as well as the Force Lightning and Stasis would cause him to collapse and pass out from the pain. If not die outright from the combination of attacks.

As the body crumbled to the floor Ryujin looked over towards the Sith Lord and nodded. “We shall leave him for whatever living things remain on this planet as a feast.” He then stepped over the body and moved towards Ashla and the waiting General.

Veles and the Inquisitor moved with professional efficiency, with the precision of a scalpel on the enemy's neck. The Sith did not even need to communicate; the Inquisitor already knew exactly what Veles was thinking and they collaborated like a well-oiled machine. The Sith Lord watched, holding the stasis, as his accomplice shocked the stranger and then moved in to secure the kill, decapitating him with his lightsaber.

As the body collapsed, Veles stepped toward it. He nodded toward the Inquisitor and stopped, crouching over the prone form, searching his pockets and belt. The Sith Lord rose with two lightsaber hilts. He ignited one and green light exploded forth, erupting and then crackling, the kyber crystal unstable. He swung it a little and it whooshed back and forth. Then, he extinguished it and ignited the other, which was a purified lightsaber made of pieces from an old Inquisitor's hilt. It may not be obvious and instead simply seem like different to the untrained eye, but Veles was well versed on Imperial history and pinpointed it exactly.

"I think you can find great use with this," he called out and threw the hilt of the purified lightsaber to him. The Inquisitor was a Sith, and was clearly capable of corrupting it; it would be a magnificent journey that he must carry out alone. He kept the green saber to himself mostly just to add it to his collection, right next to the blue lightsaber of a Wookie Jedi.

He stepped over the body and walked after the Inquisitor, the two heading for the house of the General. Veles had heard that the rear entrance was trapped, so he climbed to the roof, eyes glancing directly onto the broken-down door. He lead, going first down the stairs and re-tracing Ashla's steps. The two emerged into the room with the General holding a blaster raised toward Ashla. Veles stopped, standing still, staring at the defector, eyebrows raised in mock shock.

"I believe you are outnumbered, former General."

Ashla had moved forward, the former-General tracing her steps with his blaster aimed right at her chest the whole time, till her told her to stop and gestured towards a chair. Settling in, she was about to begin asking him about his reasons for defecting to pass time till the others arrived when a voice spoke up from the doorway. The general's head snapped towards the voice, unlike the Togruta he had not sensed the Sith Lord's arrival, and in that brief moment when he was caught by surprise Ashla acted. She reached out with the Force and yanked the blaster out of his hand. Before he could turn his gaze back from Veles towards her the blaster had soared through the air and landed safely in her hands.

Ashla smiled at his shock, switching the blaster's safety off and sliding out the cartridge so that it was completely useless before tossing it back towards the now enraged man.

"Damn Sith," he spat the words out, "you're all the same. Always with your tricks, you have no honor." He glanced at Ashla for a moment before returning his gaze towards the entrance where the two Sith had appeared. "You want to know why I defected? Because you're cowards, none of you have the balls to face death with honor. Even now you rely on petty tricks to deal with a single old man. Bah!"

Ryujin looked back as the Sith Lord pilfered the body of their clueless foe, pulling forth what appeared to be an ancient blade not unlike the one clipped to his waist. Veles passed the weapon over to Ryujin who searched the blade for any comments about his history, it was far older than any he encountered within the Inquisitorius, perhaps the ancestor to the blade he now wore. It was intriguing to say the least and he would look forward to reviewing more about the weapon and eventually corrupting the pure white blade into something more fitting.

The few moments he took to glance over the blade gave the Sith Lord a head start, the Inquisitor followed at a short distance, he waited a moment at the door as Veles introduced himself and Ashla removed the weapon from the man’s hand. Before making his own entrance to this fear soaked room. He was babbling about the Sith’s lack of honour, but his face paled even more as Ryujin entered his bright red armour signalling that the General had really fucked up.

Normally when Sith are sent to deal with problems it's just to eliminate them, the general was content that his death would be quick. But with the arrival of the Inquisitorius thoughts of him surviving this day to live out the rest of his life in forced servitude would fill his mind. “Good Evening General Cross.” He said stepping past the Sith Lord and advancing on the General, the man himself trying to back up and away from him as quickly as possible.

“I am here to return you to the warm embrace of our Imperium.” Ryujin continued with a sick grin on his face. The General babbled as he backtracked, eventually bumping into the Acoylte. He turned quickly to face her and that is when Ryujin struck, a singly sharp blow, The Force concentrated into his hand, striking the back of his head knocking him out cold. “I believe our work here is done. Shall we?”

It was indeed unfortunate for the General that it had been the Inquisitorius that had been dispatched to lead this mission, and Veles was well aware that whatever happened to him was out of his hands. Not that he cared what happened to Cross. If it were up to the Sith Lord, he would have executed the traitor and been done with it. Less dead weight to bring onto the ship.

He watched as the Inquisitor knocked the General out with one hit. "Yes. Good job, both of you." He turned to look at the prone body on the floor. "I don't suppose we'll have to carry him out, right?" Without pause, Veles popped his head into the other room, scanning around for something he had in mind. His eyes fell onto the exact thing he'd been looking for, and he returned with a repulsorbarrow. He hoisted the man's body into it and then pushed him out and toward the entrance.
