On the speeder bike he had tied down a J-9 light repeater though he wasn't sure he was going to use it. The extra fire power could help if he ran into trouble. But for now he would stick to the Zok-10 and the blackwell python for ranged weaponry. The single 50 round power cell had a single replacement but Kotii didn't want to lug that and his sniper rifle around. If it came down to sweeping the palace he would leave the repeater behind with the speeder bike.

In the distance out of direct line of sight was Jabba's Palace. The structure was safely nestled amid numerous natural borders making it hard to reach and ideal to defend. The canyon that would take the Mandalorian and his cohorts to the old luxury fortress. However Kotii had a feeling if there were proximity defenses, they would alert anybody who resided within. They either needed to approach stealthily if they didn't want to be noticed at all. If there wasn't any easy way to arrive covertly, then they would have to just make it so they weren't taken by surprise.

The cool sands of the Dune Sea sat behind the red and black armored Mandalorian. Double checking his personav, he verified both the time and location were correct. It even told him the approximate minute the first of the twin suns would rise over the horizon. One would help them be harder to see as they approached and streamed light in and the second sun would add. But that was only if they made it there in that window. Zooming in on the rocks ahead, Kotii would wait patiently for a few more minutes.

Laren had been riding for what seemed forever. His speeder bike he had stowed in the cargo hold of The Unforced is finally coming to good use. Though it wasn’t a very expensive one, just some speeder he took from a dead guy. Yes, they were dead when he found it.

After a while he came close to the spot he was told meet up at. It was dark out still. That was good. Though by the looks of it, cherry bomb had been waiting for a little while.

“Hey, sorry if I’m late Cherry. I had a little thing I needed to tend to.”

What was that thing you ask? Well let’s just say it involved women, of different species, and some actions. Some pretty.. adult urges were taken into account for a little while. Hey man, a guy has his needs. Laren just fulfilled them. You should be proud.

Anywho, Laren had sat back on the seat of the speeder and leaned back on the back piece. Might as well relax as you wait amirite?

Outside of his ship, there was one of two vehicles that Zad Ruzed might take to. The first was shaped like an egg and given to the Sector Rangers for various purposes, and one that this one took to for patrol and pursuit purposes planetside. It also gave him away as a Ranger and this would not do under present circumstances.

The speeder bike, on the other hand, was perfect. This was especially so when it came to planets like Tatooine. Feeling the wind on his face and the sand billow beside him, nothing beat it. There was just something about speeding across the dune that made the man feel alive.

Hopefully he would stay that way considering he had just partnered up with two Mandalorians. These folks had a tendency to get into combat as casually as one sat down to dinner. Death to them was like climbing into bed while surrounded with statues of their great deeds. In some respects, then, Zad just might end up getting himself killed.

Then again, Mandalorians could fight, and this Ranger just might prove to be as fearless as them. So he met the pair in the sea of sand after halting his bike beside them, tailored in his black leather duster and sporting his armaments and droid. Jabba’s Palace waited for them. And one sorry scavenger waits for me…

“Howdy,” was all Zad said. Kotii appeared to know the way better than he did. And what was that saying among Mandos? There is the way?

With some time the violet armored Mandalorian he had met not long ago join him. They were soon accompanied by Zad, the third member that would seal in this trio. He gave a murmur to the 'business' Laren mentioned though he sounded a bit entertained by his own thoughts. The nickname the Vano clan member had given him didn't bother him.

"Morning..." He replied to Zad after he greeted them. It was still fairy early and the sky was barely beginning to get bright. "We'd better move before we loose the light." he didn't mean the current lack of light, but the coming brightness that would be using the terrain and environment to their advantage.

"The rest of the way is probably better on foot so I hope you brought hiking boots. We can get a bit closer on our bikes but it's going to be tight." Black Hand, knew in the next hour or so he would be wishing he still had his old jetpack. Kotii wouldn't feel bad about leaving his bike here if they wanted to traverse the entire way on foot which would also probably be stealthier. He didn't feel like setting off an anti-vehicle mine or booby trap. But it was still a bit of a ways to Jabba's palace. "I'll lead the way." The Alor decided and would begin down the winding canyon that would lead them to their destination.

Finally the guy from the cantina arrived. Which meant it was time to go to the palace. Laren was ready. He had his blaster at his side, saber on belt, and good looks to keep him alive. This was a journey to prove quite fun if done properly. There were surely traps and bombs in the canyon ahead but if done properly he could make it out alive and in one piece.

After debating on going on foot he decided to use the bikes. What was the point of stealth if it was supposed to be abandoned. Besides that would take too long and they would lose their night sky cover. It was best to get there as fast as possible. The stealth can come in handy when they arrive and enter the giant palace. Laren looked over at his two accomplices and then simply just said,

"I'm gonna use the bike. I like my chances getting through this canyon. If y'all pretty princesses are too scared then by foot it is but remember that we only have the darkness for so long. Soon it will be day, and unless you want to be spotted in the sunlight, then I suggest we use the bikes."

Once he finished he heard in his comms from his droid Cryptic, who was a super tactical droid from the Clone Wars, saying his probabaility,

"Sir, you're probability is only 67% are you sure you want to go through with this?"

Answering in the helmets comm system to where no one else could hear he responded,

"Remember when I had that 43% likelyhood of survival back 5S space? I made it out alright. The other guys had that 43% after all."

"Yes sir, of course. If you say so."

Then Laren turned his attention to if eeryone was in agreement with his statement, Surely they would take his aragument into account. Though with it being some space redneck and another Mando, you never know what they'll decide.

Zad hadn’t exactly brought hiking boots but he had brought boots. They were durable enough in just about any environment so would serve him well enough that morning. Or I’ll slip and fall and hope a Mando is nice enough to jetpack me to safety. Handy tools, jetpacks. Mandos too. Shit, did these Mandos even have jetpacks?

With Cherry leading the way the Ranger was one to follow and seconded Purple’s position. It was better this way: the Ranger had not brought his beloved bike out here so far just to abandon it. He had more at stake than some flabby Hutt’s palace, after all; a scavenger was out there and a bike would help track him down.

“Giddy up!”

That was all Zad had exclaimed before he twisted his hand, kicked his foot and took off speeding. If Cherry was leading the way then he would quickly catch up and overtake the Ranger with his own bike. All the while, it was a public conversation clouded by dust and dirt that kicked off between Ranger and droid.

“Yer gonna git gaited, pardner!?” Wayne beep-booped.

“I reckon.”

“Whup that steed from Danjar to Kwymar! HOO-WEE!”

“YEEHAW!”
