This thread is open to anyone. If someone on the legal or good end of the spectrum wants to jump and get froggy, that's perfectly fine. It is open to the prospects of PVP.

One of Sal's contacts from Corellia came through with some quality info. A shipment of illegal weapons was set to land in Coruscant. An up and coming Corellian gang was trying to flex their muscle with the Coruscanti underground with a big score. Ten crates of Z-6 rotary blasters that this upstart Corellian gang had stolen from the CorSec were set to be sold and transported to one of the emerging gangs in the mid-levels of Coruscant. This wasn't in the Syndicates best interests for numerous reasons. First of all, it didn't do them any good to have some Coruscanti gang get enough firepower to level a city block, and if they could deal a financial and reputable blow to this upstart in Corellia, all the better. The best way to prevent competition is to nip it in the bud before it can blossom. Sal figured if he could steal the weapons, he hurts both gangs. If he you could get the blasters to Syndicate contacts on Nal Hutta, that would be even better.

Sal was ready for it. He was flying high in the upper levels of the planet's atmosphere above the shipdock where the shipment was scheduled to land. He found the light freighter in question coming into the Coruscanti atmosphere just as his information indicated. It was a HWK-290, and it was right on time. Sal circled around one more time and then got on his comms to to the shipdock.

"This is ship 292BMA5Z. Looking to land. Just a small scout freighter looking to refuel and get some grub before I continue on."

"Roger that, 292BMA5Z. We're filling up docking bay 35 right now. Please land in docking bay 35T."

"Roger that."

Sal sat the bird down in 35T and his plan worked to perfection. By filling in right behind the light freighter with the contraband, he was placed in an adjacent dock. Sal walked out of the Five-O after he parked and powered her down. He pretended to do some basic systems check to his own ship as the pilot of the HWK walked out of his ship and headed to the central hub. In order to get the weapons from here to the mid-levels, they would need a transport speeder that was "street legal." Hopefully, lining that detail out would give Sal enough time to move the crates from this ship to his. With any luck, it would just be a quick score, a takeoff, and an easy, relaxing trip to Nal Hutta with a pat on the back when he got there.

Jak rolled through on a transport speeder that he "borrowed" from a pilot. He sat there, it was undetermined if the Trandoshan was grinning at the thought of taking the transport from some local without asking or if he was grinning about the deed he was about to commit. He wasn't known to have such a clean record or a decisive moral compass given his background, he wondered to himself, however...what did Sal want this speeder for? He barely explained much of the plan to him, all he told him was head to the designated coordinates he sent to his ship. As long as the credits were abundant and he wasn't in trouble with the law he was in.

Out of all the connections this cop had he could've just asked some lowlife to do such a simple task. Yet he chose him, never thought that both of them would be running this gig, together. Moments ago they didn't even know each other.

"I'm here, whatssss the plan?"

His Dosh accent striking through his speech.

Sal looked perplexed as the Trandoshan came rolling up in a transport speeder. Trandoshans...

"Hey, Scalebrain," Sal said. "I didn't see we needed a transport speeder. I said their pilot would need one." He motioned the distance between the two ships was about thirty meters. We only need to get the crates this far. Get rid of that thing and get back here. We're losing time! We have to break into his ship and move 10 crates. Let's go!"

Sal sighed. He was going to see if this lizard had the stuff to join the 5S, and he was plenty big and gutsy enough. There was always room for muscle, and muscle didn't have to be smart. But, muscle was a dime a dozen and easy to find. Sal preferred working with guys who connected the dots. He had shown promise by deducing that Sal was a dirty cop back in the senator's alley. He wanted to see more thinking like that.

While Jak went to go get rid of the transport speeder, Sal started poking around the HWK...maybe he left it unlocked?

Jak groaned as he was about to get rid of the speeder he watched as Sal attempted to infiltrate the HWK. A thought came to his head as he stopped moving the speeder and then tapped Sal on the shoulder. He knew the problem wasn't going to have a likable solution, but with no slicers nearby, they would need a direct approach.

"We can try using the sssspeeder's mass and force to barge the entrance open."

He then looked around to see if anyone else was nearby, he then looked back at Sal.

"Or, we could use the sssspeeder as a way to bait them out of their hiding sssspot.."

Sal slid his sunglasses up to sit on top of his bald head. This guy was clearly a hammer and every problem was a nail. He pointed to at least three stations of dock security. "We're on a dock with heavy traffic and heavy security. If we make noise, we get attention. If we get attention, we get security. We're on one of the most populated docking stations on the most populated planet in the entire galaxy, the home of the Senate. The home of the Sector Rangers. This has to be quiet."

Sal gave a long look at the HWK. He motioned to it. "Ditch the transport. When you come back, you see that black compartment at the bottom of the ship? If it's similar to the Five-O, that houses the fuel pump and fuel lines. See if you can use those Trandoshan claws to rip into that, rip up some lines. Damage the fuel pump. Slash threw some fuel lines. It won't be going anywhere for a while. That will buy us some time."

Of course, while the Trandoshan was dumping the transport, Sal would check to see if the HWK was locked, because...that would be a lot easier.

After the Trandoshan was done dumping the transport he came back to the Ship, searching for fuel reserves, fuel lines and whatever he could get his hands on to impede the running of the HWK with his claws. As he finished his task, the floor was stained with ship fuel as it oozed and trickled from the compartments of the ship. He looked to Sal for a moment as he was by the looks of it trying to find his way into the Ship, he then ponders something.

"Maybe it hasss...a control panel outside of the ship?"

He suggested, raising an arm out of a gesture. Since he slashed their way of getting off this rock, he figured they might have an electrical box or loose wires to cut. Maybe that could make things easier.

"Or if that's too difficult for you, maybe we can ssssteal the key from a guard."

Sure enough, the ship was locked up right. Ships were stolen at a ridiculous clip across the galaxy. Russo hated stolen ship cases. There were multiple cases a day and unless the pilot had a way to track their ship, that thing was gone. All it was for the cop was paperwork with no positive results. They rarely found the ships. People were rarely brought to justice.

Pilots let their guard down with interstellar ships. It was easy to see why. Piloting was a specific skill that not everyone had, so the people who could actually pull it off was a small subset of people anyway. Ships had different cockpit controls even for experienced pilots. The penalty if you got caught was ridiculous in most systems. Plus, stealing something as big as an interstellar ship? That took some major balls. So, a ridiculous amount of pilots left their ships unlocked and ready to roll out. As a result, a ridiculous number of ships got stolen every single day.

But, most ships don't have 10 crates of illegal weapons in the cargo hold either. This guy locked his ship up tight. He wasn't an idiot at least. When Jak returned he offered a couple of alternatives. Sal obviously liked finding a control panel outside of the ship plan better than trying to steal from guards. He wasn't sure how the guard would have a key to the ship anyway. Sal was a little worried about time. It had been a good while since the pilot left the ship and Russo wasn't sure if they could find a control panel, slice into it without any expertise, transfer the weapons, and take off before they drew the attention they didn't want.

Sal looked at Jak and said, "You want to have some fun? You look like the kind of guy that would find what I have in mind to be fun."

"Thatss...a bit indecisive.."

He uttered as he hunched next to the man, he honestly had a little or no idea of what Sal was referring to. Danger wasn't by any means FUN but after almost dying or being stranded on a ship and agreeing to this, his life and goals were pretty much in the hands of the 5 Syndicates now. He looked back at the Ship that he had slashed and back at the man again.

"Sssskip to the point, what kind of fun do you have in mind?"

"It's not indecisive. It's being smart," Sal said. "I was a cop for a long time. Doing the crime is not nearly as important as avoiding the time, savvy? My specialty is avoiding that. Besides, if we're going to climb the criminal ladder, then we need to show we can do things in a way that do not come back on the Syndicate or any of the families."

He took a long look at the Trandoshan's work. Fuel was spilled all over. It was a simple fix. A little patchwork on the fuel pump. Replace some hoses. An easy fix for any pilot. One that wouldn't require a mechanic. A fix that no pilot would waste good credits on to do so. The perfect setup, really.

"The pilot will want to fix that, yeah? When he comes back with the transport, he'll see the damage. He'll go inside the ship to get tools, you follow? We follow him in, take him down, tie him up, and move the crates over from this ship to my ship. Then we take off. No fuss, no mess. Just cash money and some credibility with the bosses." Sal shrugged and looked at his Trandoshan partner. "With your muscle, that should be a piece of cake, right?"

The Trandoshan nodded in agreement at the Cop, sounded simple enough, wait for the target to arrive he drops his load and takes it while he's tied down. Wouldn't be any difficult for Sal since he had cuffs, he gave a single thumb up as to note that he was ready for the next course of action and waited for the pilot to arrive. He cracks his knuckles in preparation and flexes his neck muscles for a flexible takedown. He would've preferred gunning him down, which to his opinion would've been fun but this was a stealthy mission, unfortunately.

Luckily enough for Sal and Jak, the pilot of the HWK didn't waste too much time to getting the transport speeder. He rolled in and parked it next to his ship. Immediately a string of cuss words and kicking random things on the ground started when he saw the the fuel leaking and followed that to a busted fuel pump and some ripped up hoses. Russo was leaning against the Five-O watching it all go down.

The pilot saw Russo watching him and yelled, "Hey! Did you see who did this?"

Sal casually kicked off the Five-O and started walking over to the HWK and their pilot. He waived Tal over to join in. "Yeah. I saw a droid tinkering around. A beat-up R2 unit. I figured he was yours."

"Hell, no! He's not mine." He angrily started yanking out the ripped fuel hoses.

"I didn't figure you would be happy when you saw the result. You got tools to fix that? I think I have some extra hoses. They should fit, or shouldn't take much fabrication to get them to fit."

The pilot waved his hand. "Naw, I got it all, damn it." He started cussing all over again as he typed in his code and opened the door to walk inside to get the tools and extra hoses. The pilot got up the stairs and into the ship a few steps and Sal motioned for Jak to follow him in. He was bigger, stronger, had thicker skin...literally. Sal had little doubt that Jak could get a hold of things physically pretty quickly.

Sal talked to low to Jak as he passed by. "Don't rough him too much. If he doesn't have to go to the medbay, we won't have to worry about security poking around looking for illegal weapons."

Jak shook his head at the prospect of not being able to go full ham, it's been a while since his violent tendencies subsided. He needed a release from all the hustle and bustle. It was uncharacteristic of him, but he low-key craved the action and danger. Living a peaceful life wasn't really his status quo, the Galaxy was an unpredictable place, he might as well get accustomed to it. He got up and headed inside the ship, he tapped the Pilot's arm.

"Need a hand?"

He offered to the pilot that was clearly frustrated and in need of assistance to lessen the load off his back. He wanted to remain as friendly as possible to gain the pilot's temporary trust. He didn't come to dilly dally, however, he just came to take out some liabilities off the 5S's plate, as Sal wanted. Fewer casualties the better. He once again stared into the Pilot's tired hide.

"Well--Gonna answer?"

He asked.

Sal gave a long look around to see if anyone was keeping a close eye things. If help was coming, he would just leave the Trandoshan to be on his own. Sal would get in his own ship, fly away, and let the Trandoshan take the fall. He wasn't a Syndicate associate yet, so he owed him nothing. And, to this point, Sal had no physical evidence to tie to him to the crime. But, it appeared nobody was watching, so Sal followed the pilot and Jak into HWK and saw that Jak was trying to talk to the pilot, but the pilot was blowing him off looking for tools.

"Quit wasting time, pal. Knock this fool out, gag him, and tie him up."

This comment got the pilot's attention. He whirled around, put his hand on his combat fusioncutter. "Wait, what?"

"Better hurry and take care of business," Sal told Jak.

Jak did as he was told and punched him square in the jaw against a steel pipe to knock him out. He caught the man that was about to hit the ground just to prevent drawing too much noise. He hoped that the punch was enough to give him some sort of amnesia to forget this whole exchange since Jak practically wasted time, was worth a shot to further pacify him. He then places the man gently somewhere and positions him in order to make it look like that he fell asleep on the job. He then beckons to Sal to get in as quickly as possible before more arrive.

Sal wasn't much for taking chances, and instead of looking for something to tie the man up, he took his stun cuffs out, pulled the man's feet to the center post of the commons table, and cuffed them so he couldn't leave if he woke up. As he was taking care of that part of the business he told Jak, "Hey, see if you can find the cargo door. We need to get those crates into my ship ASAP."

Assuming the Trandoshan knew his way around a ship enough to find the cargo hold and open the door, Sal ran across to his ship. He needed to get his door opened as well. So far, so good.

Jak looked around the ship, he wasn't very savvy of the ship's inner design but he tried his best to make sense of the area. He fumbles through the ship until he finds the cockpit. Upon entering the cockpit he looks for a lever of some kind, usually, that's how the cargo bay's controls were designed. He finally found it and pulled the lever, upon pulling the lever the cargo door was opened. Not only that the lights turned on to reveal a small number of stairs to scale down towards. He originally operated a prison ship, which he had to learn to steer..wasn't easy.

"Here it issss..."

He pointed towards the stairs that led to an open door.

By the time Sal got to his ship, got his ramp down for his own cargo hold, and got back to the HWK, Jak the ship ready to unload. Sal climbed into the Cargo hold and yelled at Jak who was in the cockpit. The former cop surveyed the cargo. They were high dollar guns, and they were protected by state of the art cargo containers. They were the fancy kind that had a float activation. Made them real easy to transfer and required virtually no strength. All you had to do was give it a nudge in the right direction, keep a hand on it, and guide it where you want it.

Sal wanted to make sure this was the right ship with the right cargo. He hit the button that allowed one of the containers to be opened, and sure enough, inside was a brand new, freshly oiled, beautiful Z-6 rotary blaster. "Hello, gorgeous..."

"Hey! Let's go! Let's start moving these things. We should be able to two each at a time. The faster we get them packed, the better!"

Sal activated the floating mode on two of the containers and pushed one of them in front of him and pulled one of them behind him. He started down the ramp and gave a look around. So far, no security seemed to be interested. It just appeared to be a normal transfer as far as they were concerned. They had hundreds of ships to watch, so short of screaming or fighting, security pretty well assumed everything was on the up and up. He started covering the 30 or so meters between the ships with two of the containers, hoping that the Trandoshan was right behind him with two more.

Jak groaned and shook his head as he got up from his seat and turned on the hovering feature of the weapon's crate, moving them adjacent to Sal's share of crates.

Easiest Heist he has ever taken part in, it lacked the adrenaline rush, he moved each crate till they were finally by the HWK.

While the Trandoshan didn't like the ease of the mission, Sal sure did. People who enjoyed chaos usually ended up getting arrested and spending time behind bars. Sal couldn't begin to count the number of perps he caught simply because they wanted a few fireworks. Sal lived through plenty of excitement and he had seen people who had been imprisoned for long stints, many who knew they would die there. Sal didn't need anymore excitement in his life and he had no desire to be locked up.

Sal and Jak made a few more trips and soon, all the big guns were on the Five-O. Sal turned to Jak and said, "I assume you want to see this through to Nal Hutta? Make sure these are locked down tight for the trip and get in the co-pilot seat. I don't know if you can pilot a ship or not, but you're about to get a crash course in Corellian flyers."

Sal power-walked back over to the HWK and closed the cargo doors. The pilot was starting to come to and began screaming at Sal. "Who do you think you are?! Do you know who you're dealing with?"

Sal slapped him hard across the face. "I know exactly who I'm dealing with. I also know if you keep screaming, security is going to show up and you'll have to explain how you want your 10 crates of illegal weapons back. How will that go for you?"

"How's it going to look when they find me with my hands cuffed and my feet cuffed to the table so I can't leave? Huh?"

"Did you think I would leave my cuffs? Really?"

"Huh?"

With that, Sal pulled out one of his Peacemaker blasters and pistol whipped him with the butt of the gun against his temple, knocking him out again. Sal quickly removed both sets of cuffs and put them back on his person. He came out of the ship and started his stroll between the HWK and the Five-O. He yelled to Jak who was inside the ship, "Do you know how to power her up? We need to roll!"
