Keren was a city on Naboo, smaller than the capital city of Theed but large enough to have it's own spaceport. It was also one of the larger vacation destinations in ISC space. So it was the perfect spot for Covax ask "Neela" to join him on a job. After meeting the Mirialan on Coruscant, he found himself dangerously smitten with the woman. So he offered her a job to help him locate and acquire some new assets around the vacation destination.

Covax had rented a hotel suit overlooking one of the planet's massive lakes, under a false name. Once inside the room the Enforcer had his droid Washbolt sweep the room for anything like listening devices or worse, explosives. When he knew the room was clear he put his bags down on the chairs in the center of the room. "Not bad, huh?" He said amusingly before making his way to the mini bar, "Drink?"

“Oh honey, you said you'd make this job worth my while but this is adding icing to the cake~” Kho – currently Neela – replied in unmasked delight, settling down her bags next to his and heading over to the sliding doors to drink in the view from the balcony. She'd decided to tone down the gothic look for this trip, if only to be a little less conspicuous as they scouted out their targets. She didn't want to blow her first job, now did she? So, for today anyway, the Mirialan was wearing a red, studded leather jacket, a clean white shirt, and the tightest black shorts Covax may have ever seen on a woman. She was also wearing very dark tights and a pair of simple black platform heels, having wanted to shrink the difference in height between herself and her new friend as best she could, even if it was only by five or six inches. At least now she didn't look like a midget standing next to him at check-in.

“Yes, please~” She purred at the offer of a drink, pulling the hat from her head and tossing it onto one of the wooden chairs near the fireplace. Then she'd open the doors, letting in a gust of wind and fresh air, stepping out onto the balcony and leaning forward to rest her elbows on the railing as she took in the sights. “Do you always set up shop in such nice hotel rooms?” She'd look over her shoulder, a smirk on her face. “Or is this time special?”

Covax poured himself his usual bourbon, local stuff it looked like. Then fixed her a Sarlacc Kicker, not as expert as a pro but it would do for now. As the slender mirialan drank up the room and the view, he paused the watched her. He wasn't sure about the jacket, but the rest looked amazing on her. It was also indeed the tiniest tightest thing he'd seen on her.

The breeze hit him then as she opened the doors and walked out to the balcony. Bringing him back to the world around him. Walking out to meet her, he handed her the drink before leaning on the doorway behind her. Drinking in the view for himself. It was a far cry from the zombie filled levels of Nar Shaddaa.

"With power come perks." He replied. Of course he was thinking of the rise within the family. Force only knew how she would take it. "Perhaps it's also a little special."

She would take a sip of the drink he'd made for her and smile, letting her weight shift from one foot to the other as she switched hands to more comfortably drink and look over the scenery at the same time. His comment about perks coming with the job turned her smile into a grin though, the slender woman turning her whole body this time to rest her rear end against the railing as she settled her eyes on her 'partner' in crime. One hand rested on her opposite elbow as she took another swallow from her glass. “Oh that I know, I just wasn't aware you had so much power... then again, when we met I thought you were the bouncer~”

She let out a soft chuckle at her own expense, turning her head to let her eyes wander the outside of the building, both below and above their suite. In her line of work, it was always useful to know as many ways to get out of a room as she could manage – in case a hasty retreat had to be made.

His agreement that this particular job and situation was 'special' brought forth a spark of mischief in her eyes.

“So where should we start with this special little endeavor of ours? Should we just... wander the town like a couple of tourists and see what we stumble upon?”

Covax continued to drink for a moment, watching both the view and the woman. But quickly focused on her as she turned to him, the mention of power clearly on her mind. "Yeah, you and that mando both. Do I really have vibe?" he said joking playfully. Chuckling along with her.

As her attention moved, he moved in a little closer as well. His left hand resting on the metal rail beside her, while he continued to hold the glass or bourbon. His right hand moved to her hip, as he moved in. "The hand laid brick and mortar would make for an easy free climb. However we're only three flours up. So jumping into lake is also a good choice." He softly commented, reading her mind.

The towering human would then lean his head in, until his nose and lips were close enough to exchange each others breaths. "Oh I thought we'd get a quick shower, then see where the night takes us?" his tone now, a soft playful tease. He would walk right up to the razor's edge. But the next move would be up to her.

“You do. Would work great as a cover, if the need arose. That or a bodyguard.” She offered. “You'd be a real sexy bodyguard.” She added offhandedly, bringing her glass to her lips for another pull. The drink he'd made wasn't exactly a Sarlacc Kicker, but then again she doubted the hotel minibar was even stocked with what was needed for such a niche drink. The Mirialan wasn't all that particular about her alcohol, anyway – as long as it didn't taste like a hutt's sweat or speeder engine degreaser.

And this tasted good.

When he approached her at the railing, she honestly hadn't expected him to push the envelope so early in their little game, but she wasn't completely surprised by the act either. From what she'd learned of the man thus far from their interactions, cutting to the chase was just his style. He lived in the moment. He saw something he wanted, and he went forward to grasp it with both hands. Or one, in this case. It was as if he expected her to evaporate into thin air, which wasn't exactly a wrong perception to have about her.

His insights on the building were much more surprising to the grifter, however, another flash of mischief visible in her eyes as she matched gazes with him. He was so close now she could practically taste the bourbon on his breath. “Oh? Good to know you've done your research~” She purred, running her tongue over her lips before cracking another impish smile. “A shower sounds nice... maybe after we've taken a look around and found a couple of leads on what we're looking for, we can play a game of strip sabacc. If you win, you'll get something you want... if I win, I get something I want. I never play for free, remember?”

The towering human cocked his jaw and then cracked a half smile. Feel as though he called her bluff. Standing back up straight, he took a drink from his glass of bourbon. Finishing the remaining liquor before commenting, "Hmm, and just what is it that you want ?" He asked a bit direct and a little less playful.

Retreating from the balcony, he returned to his bags. Lifting the smaller one, the one with the clothes he walked toward the next room with the single king sized bed. Opening the bag to what looked like clothing a bit out of place for his normal style. But like his partner, he had to play down the soldier and turn on the tourist. So he found a shirt and slack he thought might fit the bill.

Kho could tell she'd shown her hand, or at least tipped the scales just enough that she wasn't the one in control of their little back-and-forth anymore. That wouldn't do. She had to admit she was genuinely surprised though, surprised at how smart the musclebound man she'd pegged as a easy target actually was as she watched him turn and walk away from her.

She followed after him after taking a few seconds to decide on her next move, finishing her drink and setting her glass down on one of the tables before following him into the 'bedroom' of the suite. Flopping down to sit on the edge of the bed next to him, she tried to salvage the game she enjoyed so much. “What does any woman want, Covax? Money, jewelry, exquisite food... a man to fawn over her... I'm no different than any other woman. I'm just more honest about it."

She'd lay back over the bedspread there, arms stretching out above her head before tucking behind her head as she looked up at him. “How much fun would it actually be? To just to give you what you want right away? No challenge for you to overcome. No chase for you to win. Wouldn't it be so much more rewarding if you had to work for what you wanted? I know I work for what I want..."

She'd spot his outfit choice at about this point, visibly holding back a laugh.

“Is that what you intend on wearing?"

Covax did his best to keep a stone face after he had turned from Neela. He was a merc, not a moron. Still, it had been a couple years since he'd felt well anything. Yet alone the fun of this little cat an mouse game he was playing with her. He knew he appeared to be storming off, maybe upset. But it was all a ploy to put her off balance, and it was working.

He did his best to keep his eyes from her, even as she hit the bed. Knowing full well the lack of attention would drive her a little if not full on crazy. As if to prove his point, she laid back on the bed to try and draw him in. His eyes finally met hers, and then he looked her down and back up again before giving her his usual amused smile.

He then moved to the edge of the bed where she laid. Kneeling so one knee was between her knees as the other was on the outside of her right knee as he leaned down. "So much fun. Fun watching you try to find what I want, give me a challenge to overcome. It's been so much fun...wa..What's wrong with it?" He whispered, then stammered. Moving his head to look at the outfit with her.

Having someone try to play her at her own game wasn't exactly new to the conwoman, but 'Neela' was plenty amused by the antic and it was written all over her face. Still, she didn't feel the need to move away when he shifted tactics and loomed over her, nor did she feel the need to try to dissuade him as he leaned in close to her for a second time in just a few minutes.

She just smiled right back at him. Daring him to do it.

“I've known what you wanted from me since the moment we met~” She insinuated, lips pursing cutely as she sucked in a breath to make brief a kissing noise. Her hands stayed hidden beneath her dark locks all the while, her whole body looking more than relaxed laying beneath him despite the fact that a man of his size could do a lot to her if he really had a mind to. Luckily, she was a good judge of character, and never let herself end up in this kind of position unless it was right where she wanted to be.

She was about to say something else when he suddenly shifted topics, to the clothing he'd picked out for himself, and she burst out laughing as the moment was lost. It would take her a few seconds before she got it under control enough to answer him, one hand moving to wipe the tears from her eyes. “Well... I mean, there's nothing wrong with it, per se...” Her eyes moved to the striped button-down shirt and she laughed again, waving her hand to dismiss her outburst. “No, no no... it's actually very good. It's very tourist... just... when I think of you wearing it...” She could barely make it to the end of that sentence before she was lost to another fit of laughter, her shoulders shaking in genuine mirth.

Between wheezes, she managed to utter, “It's just... so not you...”

He was still leaning over her when the outburst finally came out of her. In their brief amount of time together he'd never seen her lose it composure. It would have been a memorable moment, if it hadn't been at his expense. However he looked back at the shirt with her and knew she wasn't wrong.

The human stood back up and let her get it all out. It was perhaps the most honest she had ever been. So when she was finally finished, and left gasping for air. He decided to turn the tables again, just for a little fun.

"Ok well if you think you know me so well. You find me something, I'm getting another drink." He said, as he turned to go to the next room to pour another bourbon. He stood then in the doorway between the bedroom and the common area. Watching her work. "If you pick well enough maybe I'll take you to that exquisite dinner you wanted."

“I'm sorry, I'm sorry...” 'Neela' repeated when he moved away from her, both hands wiping the tears from her eyes at this point, a few more giggles breaking her composure all over again before finally getting a hold of herself. She could only hope her make-up hadn't smudged too badly due to the tears. Then she'd take a deep breath, pushing herself up to a seated position as Covax went to make himself a fresh drink. Leaning over the foot of the bed, she'd call out to him, “I really am sorry!”

She hadn't meant to laugh at him, she really hadn't, but the image of him wearing that outfit and sauntering around town with her in it had literally hit just the right button for her. She couldn't even describe 'why' it was so funny to her. It just was. On the upside, it'd given her a nice dose of dopamine that led to a nice warm fuzzy feeling inside - almost akin to a slight high. It was nice, and before long the Mirialan hopped up to her feet and started digging around in her partner's luggage for a better outfit.

After passing on a few shirts that had similar or worse appeal, she'd settle on a blue button-down shirt that was more acceptable than the last one – despite being speckled with flying birds of some species or another. She wasn't sure what they were called, but it looked nice enough. She also traded the dark blue slacks for charcoal gray, but let him keep the loafers and belt he'd chosen for himself.

She'd be humming a soft little tune the whole time, her head rocking and left heel tapping to some unheard beat.

Laying out each piece on the bedspread for a final inspection, she'd narrow her eyes and try to imagine Covax wearing it. Then she started to imagine her delicious reward, a wide grin splitting her lips. An artist was only as good as the tools she was given, but 'Neela' thought she'd done quite a good job under the circumstances. With a little nod of approval, she'd spin on her heel to face him, her left arm arcing over the outfit she'd set out for him. “Can I cook, or can't I?” She asked him, confidence dripping from every word she said. She was sure he'd like it, or at least agree it was better than the one he'd had to begin with.

"I could see myself going out on the town with you in this."

He was amused, but mostly by her. Her walls were cracking just as much as her gut was. He drank it up as he drank from his glass and let the Mirialan do her thing. He was her arms hardly move, but clothes fly about the bed. All the wile her body seemed to be grooving to a melody only she knew, and wash she....humming ?

He finally returned to the room as she ask him if you could cook. Looking down at what she had picked out for him, it was his turn to laugh. Well if was more of a scoff or maybe a grumble. It would be difficult for the woman to tell. "Um no. I'm not wearing what ever those are, birds maybe ?" He commented. "Here you need this more then I do." handing her the drink.

Finished with this part of their little game, he finally chose something all Covax. The Enforcer stripped down to just his boxers, revealing a right arm with a near full sleeve of tattoos and a left with a surgical scar at the shoulder and another full sleeve. The rest of him was also cover in scares here and there. He then replaced his attire with a black casual button shirt, jeans and boots. "I guess if it ain't broken, why fix it." he said with a half smile. Taking back the glass to take another drink.

“What? What's wrong with it?" She demanded to know, fists resting on her hips as he scoffed at her work. He wanted to look like a tourist, didn't he? Well, as far as 'Neela' was concerned, this is what a tourist looked like. Truth be told, she wasn't the best person to ask about fashion unless it was attuned to her own interests anyway, but she did her best! There was a slight look of annoyance on her face at his refusal to wear what she'd chosen for him, but when he started to undress right in front of her, her attention shifted to something much more enticing.

“Slowly, slowly! It's too nice a job to to rush!" She cooed, taking the opportunity to watch him change with little shame, plopping her rear back down onto the bed and sliding one hand behind her for support. Leaning back into a relaxed pose, she took a gulp from the glass he'd offered her, letting her eyes take in the tattoos and scars that littered Covax's body with interest. His choice of clothing was bland and uninspired, but it did look a lot more like something he'd wear.

She'd offer him a smile as he took his glass back from her, minus a few inches of bourbon. “Keep the shirt untucked, and you may just pass for a normal person~"
