DESCRIPTION
The AAL-1971 Troop Transport was developed originally for the First Order as a means to delivery its stormtrooper corps into both peaceful and hostile mission zones. The lower half of the hull was reinforced to deal with heavy blaster fire whilst approaching battle zones. A single antipersonnel cannon was included to help secure landing zones as well as provide cover for any retreating forces, a high powered spotlight was also fitted to the front of the ship blinding any night-time foes on approach giving its occupants the maximum time to move from the compartment and into the battlefield.
After the fall of the Sith Eternal and dissolution of the First Order, AAL-1971 Troop Transport continued to see service though a number of militaries on the outer rim as there reliable construction and fast delivery was perfect to population suppression and anti-terrorist activity. However the limited ability to act above the upper atmosphere of the planet has made them less than ideal in suppression of pirates and other off world threats.
With the rise of the Sith Order's military might over the past few years, the expanding military has needed more and more dedicated troop transports above the rag-tag grouping it currently uses. As such the AAL-1971 Troop Transport has been pushed back into production across a number of the Sith's industrial worlds.

Restricted. AAL-1971 Troop Transport are classified as military ships under Galactic law, and are subject to extra licensing requirements and increased scrutiny by authorities. Additionally, they are restricted to characters in the Sith Order, or Sith Order aligned characters.INTENT
