Amira hunkered down beside her brother, behind the row of barrels farthest from the stairwell, amber eyes and horns peeking out over the tops of the lids. The Tiefling loved her horns and wouldn't have parted with them for anything in the galaxy, but there were times—particularly when trying to blend in with her surroundings—when they were inconvenient. She couldn't count the number of times she'd gotten herself caught in uncomfortable positions and places as a little girl, playing hide and seek with her older siblings.

Two figures appeared, nothing more than silhouettes in the darkness, but they were large. The Champion only hoped their minds were pliable and open to suggestion. A safe bet, considering they'd probably been drinking. She reached out through the force, her will clawing at the edges of their psyches until it had completely penetrated each mental barrier. There weren't many of those, as she had suspected.

"What did the boss say he wanted?" the first man asked.

The other sighed.
"A bottle of wine. Don't you listen to anything other than those stupid podracing reports?"

"But what kind of wine?"

"Port in the Storm. His favorite."

Shaking his head, the first man was adamant. "No, I think it was something like 'domaine.' That's his favorite."

Both men came to a stop at the bottom of the stairs. "How would you know? You can't even say it. Fine," the second man huffed, already turning. "We'll go ask him. But don't blame me when he blows your head off."

Still bickering amongst themselves, they shuffled back up the stairs the way they had come. "Come on," Amira whispered to Emir, ducking out from behind cover. Using an empty barrel to reach the window, she began struggling with the latch until it unfasted, and the window flung open. Then she crawled out, pulling Emir along with her.
