Biography:
I am a Navy Seal and was stationed here when the world fell. I grabbed my gear and left the base, determined to help those in need. I was a Special case for the SEALs, I used unconventional weapons to complete missions. I also was trained in survival skills and First aid. I have a small shack in the mountains where I keep other weapons, but the gear described above are to stuff I keep on my person. I was tasked with taking out a major Drug distributor in the most discreet way possible, but the world fell before I could complete my mission, and the distributor fell to poverty and riots.

@ctrocks307 havent been approved yet so might want to wait a bit.

But also got a lot of weapons that should be in really bad condition. Suggest maybe fewer weapons, considering that ten years of use will make it hard to keep them useable.

Name: Cale, "Slam", "Cabbage"

Age: 50

Appearance: I'm 6' 2", or a touch over 1.8 meters, and weigh in at about 190lbs - about 86 kilograms. In my own honest opinion I was never a looker to begin with, and time and stress haven't been kind to me. My face is worn and leathery, with a thick beard that has streaks of gray from equal parts family genetics and stress of survival (salt n' pepper, some might say), and my head is shaved down to little more than stubble as its started to recede to a point that makes it pointless to grow it out anymore - I wear a hat or beanie or hood fairly often. My eyes are blue-gray and I have a semi-colon tattoo on my left wrist and a tattoo to a "Betty Edgington" on my right shoulder. Other than that there is scarring from knife wounds on my calf, lower stomach, lower back, left arm, and across the chest along with others I've acquired over the last several years.

Health and Wellbeing: I know how to keep in shape and keep healthy for the most part, and being a modern-day "sellsword" means that often enough I have means to find food. But my right knee is still a torn up piece of crap. I'm a metal soldier these days - silver in the hair, gold in the teeth, and shrapnel in the rear. But old as I may be, the saying always goes to fear the old man in a profession where most die young. On top of that I've slipped into two of humanity's four oldest vices for pleasure: smoking and drinking.

Skills:
- I can drive a nail with a rifle past 300 meters
- I can track an animal for the night's meal, kill it, and prep it
- I can ski, free climb rock-faces, rappel, and abseil
- Fishing isn't that hard
- I can make a camp, even if I have to bivouac it
- I know how to patch a wound, bullets or otherwise
- And I'm prepped for those fights where you can't use a gun
- Airborne, Air Assault, and SERE school are all on my record
- Radios are child's play if you know what you're doing with 'em

Languages spoken:
- Native English speaker
- Fluent in Swedish (IC)
- I can swear in Pashto and German

Equipment:
Clothing
- Thermal underwear, top and bottom

- SCAXE5 full tang tactical hatchet

Personality
I used to joke that I would never be happy until I was standing alone on a pile of bodies with all the world burning to ash around me - and then that actually happened and it turns out I wasn't so happy about it. I tried to be a good person when everything first went to hell. I honestly did. But after a while you get sick of watching people caught in the middle of trouble dying because you said you'd help them or just because humans are monsters. You learn to stop caring and just start surviving. They say that there's no glory in surviving - but there isn't any shame in it either. I'll help people where I can, just how I was raised ages ago, but in the end I'll choose me and mine over strangers any day of the week.

As the saying goes: you don't need to be faster than the bull. Just don't be the slowest one in front of it.

Biography
Once I got out of the military, it had struck home that "I know how to shoot people really well" wasn't the most appealing thing on the average job application for office work. But thankfully I wasn't put in just ordinary office work and found myself working on the security team for a social networking giant that spread across the globe - including a site in Luleå, Sweden. I worked my way up to the international advisory and management team for security, worked my tail off to stand out from the crowd, and eventually got an opportunity to head out to Europe with a small team to the Luleå site. Just in time for things to go to hell.

For a few months we tried to make a living with the staff on site. We did what we could but when you are so isolated from the actual city of Luleå itself and there isn't exactly anybody among you who specializes in farming, it got difficult. Only a few of us had the kind of skills necessary for long-term survival and we did what we could to teach and help the others. But that didn't work out so well. We did what we could but if it wasn't bandits thinking to gain something from the different, windowless, government-looking buildings than it was wild animals attacking hunting parties, or simple disease killing people off one by one. Eventually we broke apart a few years ago and I tried to make do where I could. Rescuing a kidnapped kid here, killing some bandits there, delivering some package I didn't peak into between two towns, or whatever I had to do to survive.

My main work has come from fighting for whatever army or militia is willing to pay enough to have me along. I'm no internationally famous gunman but I'm able to put my skills into full use again. Everybody in the world has somebody they want dead, something or someone they want escorted, or secrets they need pried from somebody else. And so I travel where those demands take me to earn my keep and try to help who I can along the way.
